I have more hardwood floor than most homes and wanted something that would clean them as well as the carpet. I really like my vacuum, however when I called Banks, the salesman stated to me that \u0022well for a low end vacuum, its a good vacuum\u0022. I didn\u0027t want to hear that for spending $425 for a vacuum. I thought that the comment could have been better stated. It made me feel like i was being cheap for \u0022just\u0022 spending $425. Other than that I\u0027m pleased with the product I purchased. I think the cord length is good, the suction is great, and the ease of assembling it and empting the container is awesome. It manuevers great around the house is also a plus. About the only thing I can say is that I wish it was a little bit lighter and easier for me to push on carpet (better wheels). I\u0027m smaller, about 5\u002702\u0022 , so this is an issue for me, but my husban who is 6\u002703\u0022 thinks it is okay.
