reply posted Jun-17-2011 “We pride ourselves on customer service and attempt to resolve every issue case by case but we still have protocols we must follow. Particularly when dealing with damaged freight - this is never a pleasant situation when a 3rd party must be involved between us and our customers but until we can manage to hand deliver our products direct to customers ourselves, we are forced to have faith in these freight companies to deliver our products as we would.
When first notified of the bad news that the shipment was damaged in transit, we immediately got on the phone with the freight company's local terminal to see if they could turn the truck around and take away the damaged items as it was clearly their fault. Unfortunately, no matter how high we escalated the matter, they refused to comply and said filing a concealed damage claim is the only option. After explaining our company's and the freight company's protocols on concealed damage, the customer was turned off by the potential length of time the claims process could take and opted to file a charge back with his credit card company.
Once a charge back is filed, those funds are immediately removed from our account and put back into the customer's account. At that point, our complete focus becomes shifted from the customer to the credit card company.

Our product shipping and delivery process again, is unfortunately for the most part out of our hands. We do our best to ensure the safest delivery of our products as possible, but we are unable to spy on our products as they travel across the country. If this was a common occurrence, not only would you see more horror stories posted here, but we'd be out of business. 1 incident like this among the thousands of customers we've had in company history should be taken with a grain of salt.”
