"I ordered 2 posters from this company, and they were packaged in a triangular cardboard box, which arrived all smashed and opened at the end and one side of the triangle was caved in and creased, as were the posters. I tried to flatten and weigh down the posters, but when I contacted customer service they sent replacement posters with expedited shipping, and also refunded my shipping costs. The representative explained that they had used tubes, were having too much damage with them, so switched to the triangular boxes - which certainly didn't work for me, but I am very satisfied with their attempts to correct my damaged order. (The return policy listed on the site is very convoluted and I am on a time line that wouldn't have allowed for that.) The actual replacements have not yet arrived, so I can't comment on condition. "I to wish I had read this review page. I would not recommend anyone order a poster with these people. They are deceiving and unreliable. I have been waiting almost a month for my poster to arrive when on the website it states 3 - 5 days shipping. I am absolutely appalled with these peoples response to my concerns. They do not care and make excuses that don't even make any sense. This is one of the responses I received "Please note that the shipping timeframe mentioned on our website does not include the time shipper will took to delivery your shipment." How could they not state how long the shipper takes? Is that not a piece of information that should be stated? Now they are telling me to wait until the 29th of August (I ordered on the 23rd of July.) and according to this review page I will be lucky to receive anything. This was meant to be a present. I have been let down. Be warned. Allposters.com are online scam artists and you will regret ordering with them. I am sorely disappointed with the service and I feel very, very deceived."
"I think I have fallen for this scam also. I thought it was a UK site, and enquired beforehand about cost to return any unwanted items. I was told it would be about £4, same as the delivery costs. I thought that was ok and placed my order. When it arrived, I found out that I had to post my unwanted items back to the Netherlands! This information is very carefully and cleverly concealed from you. I was quoted anywhere from £14 to £50 in reality to send the item back. I got no joy explaining to the UK based telephone employee that it wasn't obvious the company was NOT based in the UK. I would never buy from them again and will be taking this up with Which (a consumer rights organisation)."
"Contrary to previous reviewers I had a good shopping experience. I ordered 2 posters, they are sent from Holland because its cheaper to print them there. I was given a tracking number and they arrived in good time.(UK) The posters where of good quality and only cost £9 each. Once they are framed they will look good in the bedroom just as wall decoration. They are not works of art. I would always recommend having the faming done locally so you can see what sort of frame you are getting for the money. "
"Oh how I wish I had read this before ordering my poster. I have had an almost identical (negative) experience! My poster was supposed to arrive 4 weeks ago (to Australia) and when I rang to ask where it was (after no response to the email I sent) I was told I had to wait 20 business days before they would do anything? No apology, no explanation, no help at all. I sent another email a few days after calling to find out what may have happened, to a different email address and still haven't heard back. I finally called again after realising my 20 business days were up (no they never contacted me) and they are supposedly sending a replacement, although I am not holding my breath. They could not have cared less, nor did they act surprised that my poster never arrived!
I also ordered from what I thought was an Australian site and only later learned that there is no such thing. They just put the .com.au at the end of the US site. If I were a new customer I wouldn't bother with this company. They are hard to deal with and simply don’t care when you have a problem. The 2nd person I spoke to said that most orders take about a month to arrive because of the delivery company they use (even though I was told it would arrive in 2 weeks) I'm sure there are better companies out there who give a damn about their customers and tell the truth about their products and delivery options."
"I cannot say enough bad things about this company. I bought a livingsocial.com certificate to use at allposters.com. When I placed my order, their website said that my order would ship out within 24 hours. Well, fast forward to 1 month later: my order still has not even been processed, nobody in customer service can tell me when I can expect to receive it, nor can they tell me exactly why it has been delayed. After numerous calls to customer service, and lots of excuses that don't make sense, I finally cancelled my order and I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ALLPOSTERS.COM AGAIN! I suspect that they sold too many certificates and jacked me around hoping that I would end up cancelling so that they can get out of fulfilling my certificate. What makes the situation even worse is that I had to go round and round with livingsocial.com to get my money back for the certificate I purchased from them. A horrible situation all around!"

"TOTAL SCAM! The quality is awful. My printer could have done a better job. Framing a total joke. Despite buying from 'art.co.uk' (also known as allposters.co.uk / art.com / allposters.com) the company ships from the Netherlands. They obscure this very well on their website. You have to pay for the tracked return - for a 80 by 70 cm framed poster the cost of the return would be £80 (the original cost of the shipment was £150). So if I return it, I'll be significantly out of pocket. Not sure its worth throwing good money after bad; not entirely convinced a refund will appear... will let you know. I'm usually quite careful with internet shopping, but these guys have scammed me proper."
"Allposters is a JOKE! I purchased two posters online a few days before Christmas. They came in on time, but one of them was the wrong item. (I recieved a New Orleans Hornets basketball poster when I had ordered a Trail Blazers one) I called the 1-800 number to complain. They apologized, and offered to send the correct poster for free. I recieved the new poster in the mail today and its another Hornets poster! THEY SENT ME THE WRONG ITEM TWICE!!!! I called their customer service line again and told them I wanted my money back.
Making a mistake once in understandable. Making the same mistake twice is ridiculous and no way to run a buisness. Their prices may be low, but so is their service."
"I have never written a review for a company online before, but my experience with allposters was so bad that I felt I would be doing a disservice to others if I did not share. After seeing how many others have had similar experiences, I wish I had come here first.
I placed an order on December 14 with "guaranteed" delivery by December 21, which I felt was a safe cushion for a Christmas gift. When it had not arrived by December 22, I double-checked the order status to find that my order had been cancelled. At first I was in disbelief... would a professional company actually cancel a customer's order without ever telling them? Apparently, yes. Presumably they were out of stock, as I could no longer find the item on the site... though this would have been nice to know. Although they automatically refunded my money, I was left with no gift and almost no time to come up with a contingency plan.
I found a similar item on the site and found that I could still get it before Christmas... for a $50 expediency fee (more than the price of the order itself). Rather than take their word for such a guarantee again -- not to mention pay their premium charge -- I contacted customer support to see if they would be accommodating and waive this fee.
I never heard back from them - not even an automated message saying that my message had been received and that they'd get back to me.
I don't plan on ordering from them again and recommend that you don't either."
"Made the mistake of ordering from allposters through amazon. On amazon their called posters discount. one of many names these idiots hide behind. This was to be a christmas gift. The posters arrived late AND damaged. They promised to refund AND replace the damaged posters. I did get the refund, from Amazon, but I never did receive the replacement posters. Stay away from these people. "
"First i had to search up to see if the site is legit since they have about 40 sites relating to the same business. Second, no matter if its .ca, .com, .uk..... its still being shipped from the United States. After reading reviews and having already ordered i was very scared that what i would receive would be junk. They packaged it well, it came with no damage to it. I have two complaints, it took about a month to get to me even though the site said two/three weeks. Also, the customer support is lacking. They told me the carrier was a Canadian company and they had shipping rules regarding international shipments which i think was a lie. The company is American, and i live right on the border so a months shipment us a bit crazy.
Now, i ordered a picture to be the biggest poster size, when i got it they had included a thick white border around my poster which i thought was bs, but judging from the quality of the poster i think they did it so it didn't look too low in quality. My only suggestions to others is to research the image your buying. They will literally take it and just blow it up. They do not possess the size needed on some images to make posters. Other than that and the waiting....it wasn't all that bad. I might order from them again if i can't get the image i want printed locally to the size i want. I can't really recommend it but for what i wanted i had literally no other option. Very impressed with the packaging."
"I ordered three prints from this company. The prints arrived in a timely fashion in good condition, however two of the print sizes that I ordered and that were on the invoice bore no relation to the action size. One print was meant to be 11 x 16 actually is 6 3/4 x 11 3/4. The other one was meant to be 10 x 14 is actually 11 x 16. What a mess and what a disappointment. I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased from this company. "
