"Ordered projector lamp, got it reasonable fast, was quite pleased. Unfortunately it blew after only a few minutes of use the. These things happen. So I emailed their returned department, as specified on their web site they won't accept a return with their approval. This was the day after receiving the item. Emailed them the again a week later. -- No response. Called their returns department (again as per their web site) left them a voice mail, stuck to the facts... called again, left another voice mail. --still nothing. ok FINE!... I contacted my credit card co and initiated a chargback (1st time ever i had to do it!)... took a while, but was eventually chaged back.. some weeks later the merchant reversed the charge!... but they NEVER did call, or email me with their return authorization or any questions. The contact on the reversal as "Jason Oliverio" and funnily enough he says the reason for the reversal "his account shows only that his order was delivered, website states *30* day return policy and 180 day exchange warranty"... um? DUH! I did not say I didn't get the item, i said it was defective. I've called their returns dept again (last week), called their sales again(last week and today), emailed again (today).. I'll try faxing today... Never talked to a live person yet. It's coming up on 5 months since the inital order. holy cow! A very nice lady named Ebony called. Short story is they're going to do Advanced replacement for me. She also explained that there were some issues with the returns department prior to her starting there in Oct 2009 (last month) We'll see how this progresses... Update: they did do advance replacment, and paid for shipping both ways."

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They charge your credit card immediately, and after a month of waiting for the shipment I have got nothing to show for the $250+ they STOLE from me. I have requested a refund, but have gotten nothing! VERY SKETCHY! "

ordered a bulb from AL on June 6 2009. It failed after just 2 months. I contacted them for a replacement which they said they would ship out as soon as they recieved a new shippment. After 1 month of calling them and finally demanding a refund, they mysteriously found 1 more bulb in their warehouse. they shipped it out and I recieved it 5 days later. I installed it and used it for 4 hours (1 football game). I woke up the next morning to a failed bulb.
I called the company and demanded a refund. They refused but offered to ship out a replacement, when they recieved their shippment! After another month (now two months since the original failure) they have shipped a replacement. At this point I have no use for this bulb as I purchased a bulb from a different vendor weeks ago (can't wait for them forever). I have tried repeatedly to get a refund but no luck."
"I placed an order for a JVC lamp on Aug 20th (a Thursday) with the Flat Rate shipping which said "Best Way, Ship within 24 hours". I hadn't gotten a tracking number or any updates on the order by the following Tuesday (the 25th), so I called and asked for a status update. Evidently they had not shipped the lamp yet but called into the warehouse to see what was up. The person I talked to called me back and said that it would be shipping out that day, and I requested that they expedite my shipping given that they clearly had not shipped it within 24 hours like they claimed they would. He said he'd put in the request and that I'd get a email with a tracking number that night.
The next morning rolls around (the 26th now), still no tracking number, so I call again and am informed that it shipped yesterday, ground, and that it had a scheduled delivery of the 1st of September, almost two weeks from the date of my order.
Of course, even though they failed to ship when they said they would, they had no problem charging my credit card instantly.
The price is good and it was easy to get someone on the phone, but I'm not at all impressed with the service I've received or their inability to ship when they claim they will. I doubt I'd order from them again."
