"I ordered something that was stated as in stock at the time I ordered it. Shortly there after, the website was changed to the item was no longer available. My order was updated to say the item is on back order. I emailed customer service and their reply was that the item was placed on back order by the manufacturer and they didn't have an ETA for arrival. It wasn't until I called customer service a week later that I was told the item was discontinued by the manufacturer and they would not be getting any more. Also, customer service was not willing to substitute the item I ordered with the exact same item with of a different color. I am thoroughly displeased with how this order was handled and will not be ordering anything from Adorama ever again and will do whatever I can to sway anyone I know to do the same. "

"ordered 3 identical SD cards, only 2 work. Told Adorama about it early Thursday afternoon, several hours have gone by, no response. When I told VistaPrint about a shirt they sent with bad embroidering, they responded within 10 minutes. Adorama COULD do that, too...they just don't."
"I know Adorama camera is a very popular site but my experience with them was terrible! I ordered a refurbished Canon Mark III that they had listed on Amazon and paid nearly a $100 for expedited shipping because I needed the camera to shoot an event the following weekend. My entire purchase went through and my card was charged. 2 days later I still hadn't received my equipment. I started calling and e-mailing Adorama. When I finally got through to someone it was mid afternoon on Thursday, my order was placed on Monday. I was informed that the item I purchased had been sold to someone else. I had gotten no e-mails and no phone calls from Adorama to tell me there was a problem and now my event was 36 hours away and I was left high and dry with no camera. I finally got a manager on the phone and she told me she had a comparable unit in the store but I would have to pay more because it was in better condition than the one I originally purchased. I told her I would pay the difference if she would overnight it to me so that I would have it for my event on the weekend. She put me on hold for a while and when she came back she said that she couldn't get it to me until Monday because they only ship from their NJ location and the camera was in the NYC store. I asked her if she could schedule FedEx to pick up the package from her location and she refused stating "That's not how we do it." After a good 30 minutes of explaining the situation the basic response I got from everyone at Adorama was "we don't care." Later that evening I got a call from a supervisor telling me that he would call me as soon as they got a comparable camera in and he would knock another 10% off the price... guess what... they never called. Meanwhile I was desperate for a camera. I finally found one but it was 4 hours from my house. I had to make the drive Friday, pay an additional $350 over what I could have gotten it online if Adorama had promptly told me that they could not fill my order. Pay for a hotel because by time I got there it was too late to drive back, then get up at the crack of dawn to make it to my event. To top it off since they charged my card for the purchase and didn't bother to issue back a credit I couldn't use my rewards card to buy the camera I eventually kept so I didn't even get my $3500 in rewards points! All in all trying to save money with Adorama cost me over $500 and what was the response I got from Adorama... "we don't care." I guess you don't need to care when you have 8 million people within 50 miles of your location. My suggestion is take your business somewhere else. You can be sure I will."
"It was shipped the next day after I ordered, and it arrived 3 days after it was shipped. This was about a week EARLIER than I expected to receive it. Have been very pleased with Adorama every time I've ordered from them."
