"I went to the Abt store to purchase a new TV. Having never been to the store before I was amazed at the amount of products that Abt sells. What was even more amazing was the level of service at such a giant store. There were salepeople available everywhere to answer questions and discuss products. I left with a Sony Bravia TV and we have been very happy with it. I would definitely purchase from Abt again and we are thinking of registering there for our wedding!"

"Best service I have encountered in a long time. Best pricing too. Only hiccup was I had to have the TV shipped to Kentucky (2 miles away) to avoid sales tax but it wasn't a major hassle.
In fact is was worth it to avoid $400. "

"I am always able to find the product that I am looking for with a great price. My salesman, Steve always assists me and will let me know if the product I am selecting is best for my needs. If it is not, he will suggest the product that is. "

"My family and I have purchased from Abt for as long as I can remember. I just shopped with Abt for a new refrigerator this passed weekend and after shopping the prices online and then calling Abt they had the best price plus the service is just unbeatable. I didn't have to pay for delivery and they delivered next day. "

"I love ABT. When you buy online it is all about trust. I have bought several products from ABT online - TVs, radios, microwave and now a second iPod. I have never been disappointed. When I needed to ask a question the service was excellent. I even referred my mother to ABT when she needed a new stove. She went into the store, found the stove that met her needs (She bakes almost daily.) and she couldn't be happier."

"I was very dissapointed in ABT. Their customer checkout did not seem to work properly. I had to re-start 3 times. Their price for the product was approximately $50 more then they listed on pricegrabber.com and the coupon posted on couponcabin did not work. Despite their low prices I feel like I was misled about the price. This was your typical bait and switch website."

Please note that this item was on a timed manufacturer rebate and once the rebate came off, the price went up. As far as using a coupon code, the item in question was excluded from any promotions. "I tried for over 2 hours to make a purchase using the ABT PayPal checkout. I contacted the ABT customer service department twice about the error. Their suggested solution was to contact Paypal.

When I contacted Paypal, they said the problem is with the server ABT is using to process its tranactions. I felt like a tennis ball and no one wanted to take responsiblity!

As I said I worked on this for 2 hours with both ABT and Paypal. While ABT would only point their finger at Paypal, Paypal checked things for quite awhile before coming back with specific issues with the ABT server. They pointed to some protocol issues and only later did the guy realize I was an ABT customer and not one of their programmers.

He then tried to help me but couldn't because his solution was to try a new brower (MS-IE 9), which didn't even show the Paypal button. I tried my Android phone, but again the Paypal button didn't show up.

I went on ahead and bought from ABT, but I came very close to going to Amazon.com. Maybe I should have done that, but I did find ABT warranty support to be good. The microwave I bought is a replacement for one that lasted 15 months and this time I'm getting one with an in home warranty."

"I purchase an electronic item from Abt.com through google checkout. Later I found out that the item I bought did not match the product details that was posted on their website. I spoke with a customer representative to request for a return label, and said it will take (roughly) 48 hours for them to send the label through my email. More than 48 hours later, without a return label on my email. I tried to call them back for follow up, and this time they asked for another email address ( I don't know what kind of excuse this is) but I did gave them my other email and said to wait another 48 hours. The return policy for electronics (like a computer) is only 15 days from shipment. As of now, I'm still waiting for the return label.. I'll post for more updates."

“Abt apologizes for the inconvenience the customer experienced with the return of their order. Please note our return policy is 30 days on most items but 15 days on the computer they purchased.

Our records show the return label was issued within 24 hours of their request. We apologize the email notification was not received. We suggest the customer to check their spam filters as we have experienced our emails are sometimes caught in these filters. We have been in communication with the customer and re-issued the label to an alternate e-mail address. Unfortunately, upon further communication our records show we had an incorrect information and it has been corrected. At this time, we can confirm the customer received the return label on Friday, 9/8.”
