"I will NEVER use 1-800-Flowers again. I ordered flowers for Mother's Day 8 days in advance. I requested the flowers to be delivered on THURSDAY, 3 days before Mother's Day. The confirmation email offers a phone number and email address for changes. DON'T BOTHER. I called THREE days early to have the time adjusted, I didn't even change the day, and I was given the run-around for three straight days. AND the time was not changed. Horrible business, false advertising, service was no more professional than an elementary school student. Don't waste your time and money."
"I wish I had read these reviews first. On Monday night I tried to place an order using their online system. The system kept bringing me back to the same page and saying there was an error on the page. But it never identified the error. An Online chat specialist finally tried to assist. He told me that he had placed my order, but we got kicked out of chat before he could give me the confirmation number. Tuesday morning, my credit card did not show any transactions. So I called and spoke with anoter rep and he said he could not find the original order. He also placed an order, but again we got cut off before he gave me a confirmation number. He promised to send the confirmation number by email but it never arrived. Tuesday evening I received an e-mail notice from them saying that my credit card had been declined. I called and spoke with another rep who said it had not been declined. She said the problem was that they "don't have any florists in the delivery area." She said the flowers would have to be sent by UPS. I asked her to check whether my other orders had gone thru. She couldn't find any other orders. She offered to complete my order. But the telephone line had a lot of static and she kept putting me on hold. After half an hour of dealing with her, I got annoyed and hung up. I called back and asked for a US rep. I was told to call back and I would automatically get a US rep. I did and he was the nicest rep around. He found 3 deleted orders. He also tried to complete the order, but we lost the phone connection before I got a confirmation number. I called back again and got an asian. He told me they don't have any US reps and offered to take my order. I said thank you but I am tired of dealing with your firm. I got on a competitor's website and within 10 minutes I had completed my order for a virtually identical bouquet and printed the confirmation number "
"Awful service.! Ordered flowers for my sister's special birthday. They guaranteed delivery for the next day. Her birthday came and went and the next day still had not received the flowers. Called the following day and spoke to a rep. who states she couldn't find any record of the order even though I explained it was noted as a transaction on my credit card. Took all the information down again and stated she would complete this order and give a 15% discount and $20 gift card ( I suppose so someone else could be disappointed on their special day). At the end of the order information and one hour on the phone, the rep. tells me these flowers are not available for delivery to her area. I would never order from them again and want to alert other consumers as well."

"I ordered a funeral spray for a friend of mine. Her father passed away and it was an out of state funeral. When she returned home I asked if she had received the flowers and she hadn't, this was a week later. 1-800-Flowers never contacted me to tell me that there was a problem finding the funeral home. I paid 130.00 for the arrangement and they were just going to keep my money. I made them send an arrangement to her home and requested some sort of credit for the errors made and the offered me a 20 gift card, I then told them I would never ever use them again and the gave me a 50% credit to my credit card. To add to all of that the 5 customer service reps I spoke with couldn't speak English very well and told me that they could not understand me."
"Terrible service. My flowers for my son's gravesite which was a memorial sent every year since his death in 2007 did not arrive. The non-English speaking rep had trouble understanding the order. They called back the day before delivery saying they could not find an address. I corrected them and they still did not deliver them which I did not find out until I sent a friend to the cemetary (we are out of state). They charged me the full amount and worse said since I suffered such sorrow the were prepared to issue me a gift certificate! I could not have been more demoralized than I already was. As if a gift certificate makes up for my son not having flowers on his grave on the anniversary of his death. I told the rep he needed a course in sympathy and he simply repeated he would credit the account and thanks for the advice. Very rude. I wish I had read these reviews before I used them."
"Terrible service. I called to inquire about sending flowers (of course) the rep was very rude and sounded as if he had just woken up. I had questions about certain items and he did not know the prices. I decided not to order what I had initially inquired about and told the rep not to process the order and DID so several hours later! He basically ran my debit info and charged my account. Three hours later when I realized he had done this I called another rep to cancel the order, she was nice and said she would process the cancelation. However, I will never use 1-800-Flowers completely unethical!"
"Very disappointed. Not only did my Easter plant not get delivered on time, but the replacement plant that was going to be delivered a day late also did not get delivered. "

"So upset - I was unable to attend a funeral so I decided to send flowers through 1800flowers. I get an email at the time they were suppose to be delivered, they do not know who the flowers should be from...I spend over $100 and the flowers were sent anonomously...Someone should have called me the day before or the morning of the delivery...how do you fix that? They give me a $20 Gift Cert to be used in the future...Are you kidding...thats CRAP"
"Total let down. Will NEVER use them again. Ordered for my Mom's 75th Birthday on 3-19-12 to be delivered on 3-22-12 her 75th Birthday. Received confirmation of order via email even received and email confirmation that the order was on the truck for delivery. At approx 1:45PM received a phone call that the local florist was rejecting the order too far to drive. Are you kidding me? Very bad customer service. Going to plan B."
