"I ordered 2 Visonik V123BP subwoofers back in July one was broke/damaged when shipped. I was charged for both. UPS picked up the damaged one on 8-23-05. I never received the replacement one or was my account credited. The phones suck and are shut off or something and I can't get back on the web site. What is with this? This is illegal; I am now writing the company, calling the business bureau and hiring a lawyer. Don't recommend this web site at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Purchased a stereo on 9/28. At first things looked fine as i immediately got an order confirmation and was charged the next day. But the days passed and no further contact and their website showed no further account activity. I emailed them and the only response i got was "It has shipped". I emailed back looking for a tracking#, and i got "there is no number available". Who doesn't have a tracking#????I begin to suspect being frauded but was still patient and waited even longer. WEEKS go by and no stereo and no response to my email!!! So i called my CC company gave them the whole story and had them do a chargeback. I just got my money back after this SIX WEEK ordeal. Their website is down now, but beware if they ever come back and stay AWAY!"

"I had placed an order with this company on 10/07/05. Firstly the order was for 190.95 as advertised in the checkout procedure and what they charged my credit card.Two days later I receive an email from thezeb stating that they have "corrected" pricing with my order. I replied to them, what corrections and adjustments, that I purchased their item solely on what they advertised.Later that night I got home to discover fraud prevention calling. They had charged my credit card twice.I tried emailing customer service again, no response as to why they charged me two times. Again the package remains paid/unshipped.I check their website using the original invoice number that was emailed and given to me and it states their "corrected" pricing with no previous knowledge or record of the pricing they baited me into paying in the first place.I tried calling customer service on 10/10, 10/11, and 10/12. Every time I call, I receive a response stating that their call center is closed. So, so far its been closed for 3 days. They were very very fast to make charges to my credit cards but are very shady when it comes to delivering what you pay for."
"Purchased item on aug 02, 2005. Item arrived on sep 15, 2005, but only after reporting the company to the Better Business Bureau. Initially they just neglected to sent the item, then sent it to the wrong place. They do not live up to their promises and only act when there is the threat of intervention."
"Simply put: Don't do business with this company...I placed an order on the 11th, got confirmation email and shipment details with 1 day. I waited for a week but nothing show up. I called in to check my status, and the guy kept telling me that's it's shipped already and should arrive within the next day. I asked him whether the company provide a tracking number for it... and he say: "A tracking number will be updated upon avail..." ... I just hang up the phone right there for realizing that I just help the idiot got the business.... how come they don't have a tracking number when they already ship the product... and why would I need a tracking number if ... it's after the item arrive? After about two weeks... nothing arrive yet so I called again... Now, the guy told me that their warehouse just inform them the item will be shipped that day (2 weeks after I placed an order) ... so... I waited another week to get my item. "
"Sketchy company.I had completed an order with the Zeb late last year, and although slow, the order came through. This time however, they have completely struck out. I ordered a reasonably pricey car stereo through them as they had good pricing. I also upgraded the shipping so that I could get a UPS tracking number and I could make sure that everything was going smoothly. I received notification that the item had shipped on the 4th, so I waited for an e-mail with my tracking number. At this time, on the 15th, I still have not received a tracking number, and the merchandise is still not at my house. I have called the customer service department, asking for information, and they keep telling me that I will receive an update soon, and that the merchandise will be there any day now.When I told the guy that UPS has never taken this long to ship me anything from anywhere in the country, he told me that it probably didn't ship that day. He was unable to get me any information on my order, a tracking number, or anything.Even if I ever do receive my stereo (which I am doubtful at this point I will), I'll never recommend the Zeb to anyone due to their shady business practices and poor customer service. Given the rash of bad review recently on this site, I must not be the only one who feels this way.*update* I received an update via e-mail on Tuesday after requesting an update on both Friday and Monday. The update said that although the item was supposed to have shipped, it had not. It also said that it had shipped that day, and I received a tracking number at this point. It appears that the company did not have the item in stock and lied to me about it multiple times. We'll see if I actually ever receive it, as the tracking number won't resolve yet. "
"My last email to thezeb.com: I just cancelled this order. I will also be detailing my experience at resellerratings.com, bizrate.com, cnet shopping, the BBB, and several other reseller rating sites. Here's why:Your website clearly says: "Get your order within 5 business days. Free delivery for most orders over $199. This limited-time offer applies to items shipped to the any of the 50 U.S. States on orders totaling at least $199."When I placed my order I knew you probably didn't have my item in stock, since nobody does right now (Sirius Sportster RECEIVER ONLY), and I knew there was no way you would get it to me within 5 days. I called and tried to verify your inventory, and was told by your customer service that they had no way to check inventory or the exact details of my order. But they assured I would get it within 5 days. I left an email, but didn't receive a reply for over 2 days.Finally yesterday I get the reply below from you confirming what I already knew - you didn't have stock to fill my order. Instead of calling me, you reply by email and give me 4 options, and make me reply by email before you proceed. This can only push you further past your 5-day promise. But I immediately send off a reply telling you to (of course) send the one you have, and send the other later. I ask you to overnight it, since you're already overdue.This morning I call your customer service to verify that you got my confirmation, and that my item will be overnighted today. The rudecustomer service rep tells me he can't verify anything about my order. He says that's handled by processing. I ask to speak to someone inprocessing. He says that he's customer service, and he handles that. ??At that point I told him to cancel my order. Sorry. Your store seemed to have so much promise, and amybe does. But either you've instructed your customer service reps to keep an intentional smokescreen in front of the customers to cover the fact that you can't meet your 5-day promise, or your customer service reps have no way to access the information to do their jobs. Either isunacceptable."
"Purchased a SIR-ALP1 sirius satellite radio tuner for my Alpine on June 15th, 2005. I was told in an e-mail that it shipped that day, but was never given a tracking number, well at least now I know why...It seems the "Fast Shipping" statement they make on their site is false since even though I was told it shipped on 06/15/2005, it didn't ship till 06/17/2005.Now I wouldn't be so bothered except for the fact it was shipped out 2 days after I was informed it shipped, and it took them even longer to post a tracking number.This will be the last time I use TheZeb for anything. "I will give the short overview of my problems with this company. I ordered my products, they did not arrive in the time they told me. I called and checked into it to see what the status was. I was told that they were lost and were going to be shipped out again and would be here in 4 business days. The time came again, no merchandise, so I called again. I was told they would look into it. They didnt call back, so I called the next day. They said they were shipped on the 4th business day. I asked to talk to a manager, I was told they dont have any. I was told my order would be here in 5 days(a tuesday). Tuesday arrived and no merchandise. I asked to talk to a manager again, I was told again that they dont have managers. I am still waiting for my merchandise and about to go to my bank for fraud. I have called multiple times, written e-mails, asked to talk to managers, they tell me things are going to be here in a certain time and they arent... I am highly irritated with this company and I will NEVER order through them again, and would recommend you do the same."

Also discovered by calling Escort that theZeb.com is not an authorized retailer, despite web site claims that it is an "Escort Authorized Internet Retailer"."
"I was slighty hesitant to order from this company due to their mixed reviews on this site for only $20 cheaper. I'm glad I did though because I saved $20 and recieved my order two days later with their free shipping option. The website is slighty awkward to use and the lack of an email invoice was a little annoying, but overall I am very satisfied and would recommend them to any experienced internet shopper. My only complaint is that the box was rather poorly taped, it came open a bit during shipping, but the contents was well secured and correct. If they're the cheapest price for your item, go for it, A+."
"Purchased a head unit and an XM antenna adapter on 11/14. I was charged right away, and the order status for both items read "shipped" on the 15th. I received a phone call on 11/18 stating that the adapter was out of stock, and would be shipped in appx. 2 weeks. I asked about the head unit, and they stated they would send it out the next day. This was annoying, but okay. Apparently, shipped to them does not really mean shipped for those of us in the real world.I called and emailed the following day to get tracking information for the head unit to no avail. I was told that depending on which warehouse the item ships from, this information might not be available. But, I was assured that the item had indeed shipped on 11/19.Called 3 times today, 11/29. I got a tracking number that fails to resolve on the UPS web site, as if it is for an item that is shipping today. I asked the CS rep when the package had shipped, and she replied the 26th. I told her the item was supposed to have shipped on the 19th, and she said she would call right back with more info.She never called, so I called again this afternoon, and had another CSR state he would check into the matter and call me back. He never called either.At best, they held my head unit until they got stock on the adapter, and shipped both together today. At worst, they've shipped my HU without a tracking number and it's lost. Either way, I will never do business with these folks again."
"I placed an order on Friday morning. The item was shown "in stock" and should ship the same day. It was delivered on Tuesday; right on time.Shipping charges were not supplemented with any "handling" fees.Price was as good as I have found anywhere.Ordered from them in the past with no problems, too.
