"I used to print my images at the local RitzPix print shop. I was always very happy with their work. That was until they were closed at the end of 2012. I have recently placed an order with RitzPix on line expecting same quality. To my disappointment photos came in looking just terribly horribly miserable! Makes me wonder if the shop that did the job ran out of colors... or the personnel that handled my photos was blind; images were shifted, toes and fingers missing, even though I left enough space on my original work. All the colors, brightness, contrast and sharpness were off! Total disaster! There is no way I can present these images to my clients. I have already printed these same images with Snapfish and those images came out fabulous, just like they were meant to be. I am sorry to say Ritz Pix, but you and I are over. "
"My story is long, but here is a summary of it:-not told that the photo lab was out of supplies and my order was not going to be printed right away-took over a month for me to get my calendars delivered. once i received my calendars, i noticed lines on all the pages (banding from the printer). i called to complain. they sent me 4 reprinted calendars, which looked worse. calling them back tomorrow.-on hold for 15-20 minutes every time I called the Ritzpix.com customer service number-lied to about when to expect my calendars on multiple occasions, and lied to about when the customer service line closes at night-none of my emails or phone messages returnedIf you have a bad customer service experience with Ritz Camera or Ritzpix.com, please post your story to http://www.facebook.com/protestritz"
"I used to order a lot from Ritz camera, in the store. Now their stores closed. I had ordered from Ritzpix online a couple of years ago. Fast delivery but the picture quality was too dark compared to the in-store. Now, having no choice, I ordered again from Ritzpix. Just some enlargements. I still have to receive my order. Their website is crappy, took me forever to figure out how to check my status or get help. Finally I emailed them. They responded said they have a backlog from Hurricane Sandy and will send me the pics as soon as their done - but no date or details as to when. Note I placed my order a whole week AFTER Sandy, so their website should have warned me of delays before placing my order. I emailed them again asking for a date - I needed those enlargements as a gift. No response. Now they even took down the Help section of their website and their order status page. I will probably have to go back to my credit card and dispute the transaction. This place is going downhill FAST."
"I ordered about 30 regular sized prints and to this day have still not received the order. It has been about a month. I have emailed customer service several times to ask for them to either reprint the pictures or refund my money. The responder seemed extremely confused and repeatedly has not offered to do either. This is a pretty crappy website with terrible customer service. If you order from these guys don't expect much."
"VERY DISAPPOINTED!! I found this place off Margies Money Saver (a locally based news show). The prices were great and editing options were easy and awesome! I was so excited to get some free prints and custom mothers day card. I spent over 3 hrs editing and submitting pics for printing. I was suprised yeaterday when I recieved my prints. the shipping was very fast even using the standard option. I WAS VERY DISAPPONTED when I opened the pics. EVERY SINGLE PIC was messed up. The borders were half gone (even on the 8x10s) The hearts I added were cut in half. Half of my actual picture was missing (cut out my husband in one). I looked up a customer service number to call (since one was not provided) and when I talked to the guy on the phone he told me to send back the pics for a refund. He told me I had to pay the return shipping and there was no guarantee that they would make them right. He didnt sound very suprised about my pictures being messed up and when he appologised for the pics he sounded like he has to do this all the time. He didnt even ask what was wrong with them. If you order from this place be careful. They do not have a local pick up spot in most cities either so there will be no way to return the mess up unless you pay for shipping again. I will never order from this place again and would def not recommend this place to anyone!!!!"
"I have used RitzPix.com many times. The "new and improved" site was painfully slow and a bit confusing. It took almost a minute to load. The old site was a lot cleaner. Store employees were really good when I picked up my order - answered a fair number of questions."
"Ordered some prints online, some 4x6 Printi in Matte with awesome white border, and some 5x7 Prints in Matte, also with white border. Altough a few were glossy that were supposed to be matte, overall I am darn pretty satisfied. You can beat a good quality picture, it is priceless."
