I also ordered an extended warranty with Mack Camera through Refurb Depot. At first I was concerned that there was no extended warranty paperwork in the box with the unit (also no sales receipt/invoice). I called Refurb Depot, they answered the phone promptly and indicated the paperwork would be mailed to me. I received the invoice and the extended warranty information in the timeframe they indicated on the phone. I know many consumers have had problems with this vendor, so either they are turning themselves around or I got lucky.."

"I purchased a reufurbished HP d145 printer from RefurbDepot on nov. 13 2003. They shipped next day, the item arrived in a HP Refurbished box, factory sealed. The Item I purchased did not work correctly (this was no fault of Refurbdepot, it appears HP didn't try quite hard enough to fix the issue before sending the unit back out), I contacted HP support to trouble shoot the unit, it turned out to be a hardware issue, HP sent me to refurbdepot for an exchange. This is where I was truly impressed, Refurbdepot has a program with HP where HP will send you a unit in advance, at no charge from HP! I was extrememly happy to hear this, I didn't even have to pay for shipping! And unlike many Ineternet vendors that do not publish a telephone number, or just don't answer their phones, Refurbdepot picked up on the 3rd ring. So far I am very happy with them as a vendor, however disapointed in HP's refurbished equipment. To end with I have to say Refurbdepots cutomer service has been fantastic, mostly due to the effort put forth by Stacy from the Customer Service departmnet, she periodically sent me an email to find out the status of my support case and to see if they can be of assitance! Very good customer service, kudos to Stacy! Thank you."

"I was looking around for a laptop computer but i had a spending limit of $500 bucks so my friend recomended me i should check out Refurbdepot.com so i went to their website and found a C501NR by Compaq for $499 not only it had all the feature i was looking for but it also had the noe windows vista operating system, all i can tell you the laptop arrived the next day looked like brand new condition and i feel myself a lucky guy and guess what i'm currantly writing this review from this laptop. Thanks Refurb Depot!!!"
"Based on the reviews here, I was deathly afraid of this company but I had already pulled the trigger and placed my order the day before. I ordered a Canon SX10 for $299.00 (plus $9.95 shipping but I had a $10.00 off coupon for a total of $299.90)which was about $70.00 cheaper than any place else (not including the obvious bait and switch outfits) I must say I have been very pleasantly surprised with my purchase. Shipping was same day and I received the tracking number that night. The package arrived on-time (5 working days) in a sealed canon box that stated "refurbished" on the side. The camera is flawless and operates as expected (so far) and the box contained all promised items. It seems (after reading the reviews) that people who have had bad experiences are mainly people who have encountered problems with the items purchased and needed to return them or have them serviced so that may be where this company breaks down. I will update this review if I encounter any problems. "
