"This bad rating is actually not for this product but for onlinecarstereo.com and their service. I found this product on their site at clearance sell and processed order and made my payments 2 days ago. After 2 days of no update from them regarding shipment I called them back for a status, the CS tells me that they are out of stock on this item and I should order another product!!First their website did not tell me it was our of stock and then they never called/emailed me to let me know they cannot process my order while my money was stuck in 'pending processing' status - i still cannot access that amount as it is showing in 'pending processing' status, i f I had not called for an update, God knows how long they would have waited before informing me this, and the CS I talked to was rude even though it was completely their fault!!"
"Horrible service. I ordered my radio in May of 2010 and it is almost July and have not yet received my order or even got a shipping confirmation. I just cancelled my order and I'm planning on ordering from somewhere else. I also emailed them on two seperate occasions and never received responses from either email. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever been a part of. Never order from this site."
"Bringing new meaning to "total lack of communication"I placed order on a Thursday around noon and not having it ship within 24 hours I decided to shoot em an e-mail, no response, even 3 days later. On the following Monday morning I sent a 2nd set of e-mails, still no responses.Finally I went to call, and got nothing but busy signals for ~90 minutes. Finally, I got through, and was told "Item is still not in stock". Still? "Were you ever going to tell me that it wasn’t in stock to begin with?" I did of course receive an apology, at the same time I was told they did not know when they would be receiving, something that should have been told to me prior to ordering, or at least immediately afterwards."

"VERY VERY horrible service, on my first attempt to purchase two subwoofers, they ended up charging some one elses order to my credit card along with my order, in doing this my credit card went over limit,and stuck in authorization for days, which forced me to cancel the card because i was afraid of identity theft, when i found out it was onlinecarstereo who made the wrong charge, they were rude and tried denying it. i then cancelled my order and re ordered the items on a different card, after 4 days of no response on when it would ship, i emailed customer service, to find out that they are out of stock, and didnt bother to even tell me.... VERY VERY bad service,, wasted much of my time, customer service reps are rude and sarcastic..DO NOT BUY HERE!!"
"Horrible!!!! The radio I ordered was late getting shipped and when I had to return it due to a broken CD player, they lost the box!! I had to harrass them for 2 weeks staight for them to even look for the package and they never answered any of my 4 e-mails to customer service. After 2 weeks of calls and e-mails with no response, they told me they never recieved the radio, that it must have been delivered to the wrong address, and to file a claim with the post office. They were not responsive and as unhelpful as possible. They didn't even have the decency to contact me when they realized the radio was missing. "

I placed the order on Friday took advantage of the free shipping (I bought Alpine CDA-9835) I received it today which is Monday, 3 days after my order was placed. I'm not sure why others had a bad shopping experience. Until I have an experience similar to those who vow never to shop at onlinecarstereo.com I will continue to shop here and if I do have a BAD experience I will definitely share."

"Service was horrible. I had to fax and then e-mail a copy of my credit card to them, and they insisted they never received it. I had to call them about not receiving my order after a week, and their comment was "we never received your copy of your credit card".Canceled the order, never will I ever go to their site again. These guys have not a clue on what they are doing."
"Very good prices without the ridiculous overinflated shipping and handling charges. You can find slightly lower prices but you are probably going to pay $15+ S/H :-(Spend over $99 (not hard to do) and get free shipping. Ordered two pair of speakers and received them pretty quick (UPS Ground). Very happy with purchase!"
