"A horrible mistake! It's been over 2 months since I ordered a receiver and it STILL doesn't work. I sent it back. They sent it back to me in exactly the same condition. I've tried to call and see if someone could help me and I get NO RESPONSE!! DO NOT PATRONIZE THESE JERKS!!!"

"Note: Couldn't find the invoice number so I used my transaction number.

Review: The order process went pretty smoothly on their website, although I didn't receive a confirmation email to say that the order was submitted. Once it's submitted, you can only assume it went through ok.

Later that evening, I received a phone call saying that my credit card did not go through. This is why confirmation emails are important. The caller asked for my credit card number and expiry date, which I found a little odd to be asking right over the phone like that. I was able to get her to confirm my name and address as well as my order so I finally was assured that I was talking to someone from the company.

My order consisiting of an Nfusion Solaris and satellite finder arrived at my post office about 4 days later. Everything was in mint condition and was packaged well.

About a month later, my Solaris was acting up. The video was not displaying properly and after trying many different connections as well as another TV with no luck, it was determined that the receiver was defective. This is where troubles began.

I called Amazing Electronics' Toronto number and spoke to a woman who listened to the issue I had. She then told me to file a claim through a form on the support team's site because Amazing Electronics does not deal with the warranty process of Nfusions. Fair enough. I filled out the form the same day with all my contact info and explained the issue in detail.

Luckily, a confirmation email was returned saying the issue was submitted and a ticked was created. I waited two days (may have been more) for an email regarding the issue and finally one came. It simply read (basically) "Your issue has been submitted. We will get back to you."

I waited close to a week before I got impatient and went back to the ticket that was created on the support site, and replied to the ticket with "I'm just looking for an update on this.. when can I return the receiver?"

3 more days pass. I get a reply to the ticket with a simple "Send it here.." with an address enclosed to their shipping department in Concord, ON. I called AE again and asked the woman how the return process went. She assured me that if I return it to the address provided, the techs there would either repair the problem or send me a new one. I asked if I would be reimbursed by AE for the shipping charge ($17 and change for Xpresspost), and she assured me I would be as long as the problem was due to manufacturing error and not something done by myself.

I was pretty frustrated with what happened next. I didn't get ANY sort of confirmation that the package was received, if I'd be getting a new receiver or a repair would be done. Nothing. Two weeks I waited, as well as trying to get information from the techs via the same woman I'd been calling this whole time. She had no idea, nobody was contacting me, and I still didn't have either my old receiver or a new receiver in my hands.

Finally, a package came in with a brand new Solaris. Again, it was packaged very well and was in mint condition. Oddly enough, I received an email two days later from the techs saying "your receiver was received and we're looking into the issue." Talk about being a bit late, but late is better than never, I guess. I never did receive my shipping reimbursement, however.

All in all, they are a great place to BUY Nfusion receivers. The prices are good and the shipping is free and fast. However if you have any issues regarding your order or receiver, you are likely to run into some frustrating issues. The root of the problem is simply lack of communication between them and you. When a customer has a problem like I did, Amazing Electronics should be providing updates to their customer. Even a simple "your shipment was received, your receiver is being examined, and a new/your receiver has been fixed and is being returned to you" would suffice. There's got to be someone who looks after the emails and updates the customer about what's going on.

I wouldn't order from them again. There was way too much "I don't know", "Check again next week", "We don't deal with the warranty process" for me to ever consider an order with Amazing Electronics again. "

"Completely dissatisfied. Originally sent products without assembly hardware (super five dish) and when this error was corrected I finally assembled and mounted everything only yot find out that one of my digiwave dual LNB's was defective. I called and asked to send the defective one back and have it replaced only to be told that the $20 defective part would cost me $50 to return because it's past thrity days. It's been a nightmare and have decided to sell off my nfusion equipment at a discount and use Sonicview instead. Horrible experience and at best a second rate operation.

"I received my order very fast with no problems at all... but my n fusion is not functional yet. I asked before I buy if it worked well. The guy in Toronto failed to tell me that installation was an expert job and no channels where available at the moment...sounded so easy,,,I would'nt have bought it. Finally found people to help me...No thanks to Amazing Electyrannic who don't give money back. Bet they won't put this one on their site...UNSATISFIED."

“Amazing Electronics does not provide any post-sale technical support or setup instructions. We recommend those having trouble setting up consult a local installer. 99% of our customers have no trouble setting up, this customer is in the minority.”

“Unfortunately RMA issues happen, and sometimes customers are double unlucky and get 2 bad units. It is a very rare occurance but it does happen. RMA takes time because of shipping. Expect to wait 2-5 weeks for an RMA unit. I am fairly certain big brands like Sony, Pioneer or Toshiba have similar RMA times, which is why extended warranty is sold for free exchange.”

"I regret to have attempted to do business with Amazing Electronics/Nfusion. I called on 11/7 and ordered an Nfusion Phoenix I offered to pay for more for the expediting of the product. My credit card was charged twice and Mike sent the item without signature required, which I never received. Unfortunately, Mike turned against me and insulted me. I am not going to do business with you again and plan to report this to the appropriate better business bureau/Consumer protection agency. You do not seem to be a reputable business and your customer service leaves a lot to be desired. To have attempted to do business with you was a big mistake."
