posted Sep-23-2011 “My apologies for taking so long to get back with you. I was on vacation. The price had nothing to do with the reasons we never shipped your TV. Simply, the manufacturer is out of stock and we are still waiting for the order. Unfortunately, we have no control over manufacturers availability. We are willing to do whatever it takes to make this right.
Since this was posted, per our conversation we have credited your card the full amount. Please contact your bank for further details. Standard timeframe to show back on your account is 2-3 days.
Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.

"UPDATE: It's great to see that they have taken the time to try and spin this situation to save face on this site, but I STILL DON'T HAVE MY MONEY BACK. Order was placed on August 28th. I was jerked around saying the TV would arrive "soon" until September 7th when they instead said they would refund my money. It is now Sept 22nd and I have a credit card bill I have to pay with two TV charges on it (this one and the one from the actual TV I bought). Not only does Kingston have the worst customer service I have ever experienced (there has still not even been any offer of restitution on top of phantom "refund") they are down right criminal. At this point they have stolen over $800 from me. I now have to waste even more time contacting my credt card to dispute the charges. Do yourself a favor, save time and MASSIVE headaches and buy from someone else, ANYONE else. Any amount of extra money you have to pay to avoid ordering from Kingston is WELL worth it!
If it seems to good to be true it probably is. Here is part of an email I sent back to Kingston that explains what they did to me...
You made a mistake offering this TV for the $825.54 price that I purchased it at and instead of doing the right by your customer and honoring that price you jerked me around for two weeks saying it's out of stock and not coming anytime soon, you refunded my card even though I told you over the phone I was willing to wait longer to see if it came back in stock, and now just four days later you are selling the exact same TV for $996.60.
You might find some good prices on Kingston, but be aware of their shady business practices. I wish I would have paid a little bit more and gone with a reputable company instead of wasting two weeks and still having to pay more to order from Amazon."
