"I am new to QVC and I ordered the 42" JVC with 4 easy payments. I was waiting 3 days and my order was still in process status, so I tried to contact their customer service and after waiting for a while, I could get someone on their chatting system. When I asked about my order, she said the item would be shipped in the next 2 weeks and there was nothing wrong with my order.

So, I thought I'm just gonna chill out and wait for my order to arrive. After a week, they called me and said they couldn't do the 4 easy payments because I am a new member. My order will be automatically canceled if I don't call them within 48 hrs. I can either pay in full or cancel it, and I decided to cancel it.

QVC charged my credit card for the first portion of the 4-easy-payments and I am not happy. PEOPLE SHOULDN'T GET CHARGED IF ITEM HAS NOT BEEN SHIPPED OR ORDER IS NOT GOING THROUGH.

I live in California and I'm sure they have no warehouse or physical store here in California. I think they are located in PA, yet they charged me tax. I didn't realize this until I looked at my order and carefully count the total of that 4-easy-payments plan.

They shouldn't even let me order using the 4 easy payments if they think I am a new customer. I think this is some sort of a bait and switch scheme. I'm glad I canceled the order and got my TV from somewhere else. Once again, your credit card is going to get charged for nothing. They seem to be doing unfair trade practices.

This is my first order and unfortunately will be my last order too."

"I placed two orders yesterday. They cancelled one of the order WITHOUT notifying/calling/emailing me. I called in and asked and they said the order was cancelled at MY request. That is ridiculous. Now, the other order is shown to be "backordered". Again, no notification whatsoever. So, they want us to call them back? Who is the customer here?"

"I recently bought 3 Air Innovations desktop humidifiers with the last year.
When demonstrated initially on tv their was no mention that if you didNOT use 100% distilled water the output of the humidifier would be a nasty white powder that adheres to everything!
I called QVC about the problem and they referred me to the mfg.
After telling them that even with 100% distlilled water at $1 a gal and $25 a week the units STILL produced massive amounts of white dust.
I asked for a refund. They refused!
The company is Air Innovations/Great Innovations.
Model#s=KS30U-06C and WS30U-09A"

"I have ordered thousands of dollars worth of items from QVC over the years. Their customer service has been consistently above average. I have returned many items and have never had a problem being credited for the returns.

I do have one major issue with QVC. They add the shipping & handling charges to the item cost then calculate tax. It may be legal but I don't think it is ethical to tax shipping & handling charges. They have always done it so there must be a legal loophole but many other retailers don't do it."

"I have been very disappointed with my last two major orders from QVC. I ordered several items on value pay for my mom as Christmas gifts and they did not send two of the items I ordered. It two 3 weeks to finally receive one of the items, I finally gave up on the other. "

"I have made two purchases through QVC. The first was a turkey fryer last Fall. First, the box had been opened and taped back. There was scuffing on the lid of the turkey fryer and I was very upset. I immediately called CS and was offered a full refund and an apology! I actually had the refund in my bank account before the item was received back to the processing center.

The second purchase is the laptop that I am using at the moment. I got it quick and for a price that could not be beat! I researched online, and I did pay 999.00 plus tax and handling, They still beat other retailers by BETWEEN 300 AND 700! The pricing is very fair, and knowing the wonderful experience I had with customer service previously, I shop with confidence! "

"Ths was my first purchase from QVC: the special It Works cleaning sponges popularized in the TV show, The Apprentice. We had already used the same product from another maker and knew what to expect. Product was as expected and shipping very fast. "
