"This company wins the award for the worst on-line ordering experience of my life. I waited over a month and couldn't get them to ship the item until after I complained several times to them and only after I finally gave up and opened a complaint with the BBB. Then fed up I tried 3 times to cancel the item only for them to ship it anyway...under a different UPS code. Then they wanted me to pay to return the item and pay a restocking fee until I posted another complaint with the BBB and they sent me a return slip. Then they harassed me several times on when I was going to return the item even though I only had it in my possession less than a week during the 4th of July holiday. I guess it’s OK for them to keep me in the dark and jerk me around for 6 weeks until I start filing complaints, but it is unacceptable for me to have the item in my possession for a few days while being away for a national holiday. To boot they insulted me several times saying that my complaints were “unnecessary” offering condescending platitudes about being "sorry I feel that way" instead of apologizing for their company's failures. Bottom line...DO NOT order anything from this company unless you like waiting a couple months to receive your item and enjoy experiencing terrible customer service. "

"Shortly after placing my order I received the standard verification E-Mail. After that I waited ten days and had received no communication at all from iKitchen. Their website also showed no change in my order status during that time. I then sent two E-Mails on different days stating that if the order had not shipped I wanted it canceled and to respond that it had been canceled. Within minutes of the second message I received an E-mail response stating that the item was ready to ship, and did I still want to cancel. I replied that I was unhappy with their lack of communication and did not want to do business with them. Minutes later I received an automated response with a UPS tracking number stating that UPS had been notified to pick up my parcel for shipment to me ("Billing information has been sent to UPS," etc. on the UPS tracking page). The next morning the iKitchen website showed the order had been canceled but the UPS pickup order was still active.

So as I type this I have to wait before ordering the item from another reseller because I cannot be sure whether iKitchen will be shipping this to me or not. And after all that I found it for about $15 less elsewhere.

This was my first experience with this company, and needless to say, I will not do business with them again."

"Do not buy from iKitchen aka ekitchengadgets.
Taking one persons money and not delivering could be a mistake.
Taking 100's is FRAUD. This company is likely to be a part of a class action lawsuit soon. Don't make the same mistake I did of falling for the lowest price."

"Unfortunately my story is not different from any of the other reviews. I ordered a $250.00 product on 10/26 and my account was charged on 10/29, as of 12/2/2008 I have not recieved my order. This is the worst company on the net. Do not order anything from this website it is a FRAUD. If you are lucky enough to talk to someone they try to tell you that your product is already shipped and they cannot refund your purchase yet. I am still in the process of trying to get my money back. I repeat, do not order anything from this company they are a FRAUD."

"Almost identical senario to the others. Sure wish I had checked this site first. Ordered 3 Timex Electronic rain guage/thermometers because their price was slightly less. It was immediately charged to my credit card as Metromarket thru Paypal($84.77) On 9/26 sent e-mail asking for shipping confirmation-no reply.Sent another e-mail 10/3 received reply on 10/6 saying it would be shipped from manufacturer within 2 weeks-this goes on and on. I have sent a total of 6 more e-mails with NO further reply. I filed a compliant with Paypal and they gave some reason as to why they could not deal directly with this company and gave some general suggestions for dealing with problems of this type which is no help. How do you deal with a crook? I have never had a problem with on-line ordering but this experience will make me much more cautious and I will check new companies thru this web site in the future."

"They are cheating! I ordered a new Shaver and paid the price for a new Shaver. They actually delivered a USED Shaver instead! And this took them over 2 month!!! "

"BUYERS BEWARE!!! A friend from work recommended this site. She ordered something and got it right away. So I ordered 2 cordless vacuums for $19.99 each on 7/3. On 7/7, I got a UPS email from MM Logistics saying billing information received. On 7/10, I got another UPS email from K & CG Sales saying billing information received. I googled both companies and cannot find anything about them or how to contact them. I sent an email on 7/14 to ikitchen to find out which email was correct and which one I should use for tracking. I got a generic response back on 7/16 saying "we will attempt to trace this order" and "we appreciate you as a customer". Nothing helpful. So I decided to wait 15 business days, and my order did arrive on time. But both vacuum boxes had been opened and re-taped. All the attachments were loose in the bottom of the box, and there were bags that were once sealed, ripped open and then just shoved back in the box. I have no manual or any paperwork on this vacuum. I have a spare part that is not even part of this vacuum. One vacuum had been used, and had HUMAN HAIR inside the vacuum and wrapped around the brush. I am completely disgusted with this website and my vacuum. I'm afraid to even open the other vacuum. I'm not listening to my friend anymore. "

"Worst online shopping experience I've ever had- DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Unfortunately, they have many websites affiliated under multiple names, some of which include homebrands.com, ekitchenandhome.com, ekitchengadgets.com, and giantsavings.com. I still have yet to receive a product ordered 12/29/07, nor any notification as to its status, nor the refund I finally requested after trying no less than 5 times to contact them over the past month. Have already logged a complaint with the BBB- only wish I had checked with them first as there was already a long list of complaints against this company. I am truly amazed that this kind of company is allowed to conduct this kind of business and go unchecked- it's truly disgraceful and unfair to the trusting consumer."

"I placed my order on December 20th. It is now January 10th and there is still no update on my order status. If I call customer service they make me sit through a minute or two speach about the website, then it rings a few times, then the automated system tells me to try my call later. Each attempt at calling customer service takes about 2 or three minutes because there is no way to skip the speach. I'm pretty sure this store is a scam."

"Do not do business with this company!! I have been waiting for 3 weeks now to receive my order, and according to the ups tracking page it hasn't even shipped yet. I have tried contacting ikitchen customer support via email three times now (once per week), and no response. I will try to find a phone number to contact one of their reps, and otherwise I'll just request a charge back from Amex. I give this worthless "company" a 0/10, and that's being generous."
