Their prices are very good and shipping rates seem reasonable; shipping can be free for US orders, there are details about that on their front page. My packages always arrive in perfect condition and usually ship within several hours. By the way, they also offer dozens of free samples. "Best prices I could find on the vitamins & supplements I wanted, fast tracked international delivery for a very decent shipping fee ($10 for DHL international delivery!), plus 2 freebies in with the order. I am now a very satisfied customer of iHerb and will be ordering from them again in future. No they haven't asked me to post this, I'm not connected to them and I'm not even going to quote the discount code they gave me (you can find one easy enough). "I ordered a 12 pack of Clif bar. The price was surprisingly low so in order t minimize the risk I ordered only one pack for the low price of 17.64$ (including delivery to Israel). After 3 weeks I asked I told them I've not received it and the guy said to wait 4 weeks. After 4.5 weeks they said that usually it takes 42 days to deliver to Israel. After 7 weeks they told me that the package is probably held at customs...... Needless to say, I contacted the customs office, and they said they never received a package with my name on it.
When I asked Iherb for some kind of compensation, They simply stopped answering my emails.

"This is a really excellent site, and a good company. They have consistently low prices, usually the best or close to the best. They offer an additional discount for frequent buyers, which, while not as generous as in previous years, is still a good deal. Shipping for orders about $40 is free, and you can upgrade to faster shipping at very reasonable cost.
I just love it, even if the delivery prices are getting more expensive lately... The service is amazing, very fast delivery and every week you've got Sales prices and something special. Free samples too, the regular prices are low anyway.

"Stay away from this store. Products seem stale or defective - something is not right. I tried to return a product and my emails (5) were never acknowledged. I called the number on the website at least a dozen times and that, too, was a waste of my time. So, I lost a lot of money and can only hope others learn from my experience. Iherb boasts about having 113 positive reviews, but considering they also boast about filling thousands upon thousands of orders, the math does not add up!"

"Stay away from IHerb international shipping. The shipping was lost, as per iHerb 'explanation' due to customs procedure.
I made $200+ iHerb purchase as New Years gift. They offered to use DHL shipping, 14 days promised delivery. After 1 month of non-delivery, I was told to wait, that happens "sometimes". After 2 months I was told they do not request from DHL information on shipping within 3 months of sending. After 3 months I was informed they are NOT going to deal with DHL and refused to refund.
I called Global DHL for tracking and was notified that only the sender can request tracking information.
iHerb looks for SALES not taking any responsibility for delivery."

Here are my reviews on iHerb (good and bad).
I have tried different supplement sites and in my opinion, iHerb is the best in most aspects. There are reasons why iHerb is a trusted Google store and #1 online supplement store by consumerlab.com 5 years in a row from 2008.
Value – iHerb offers the most competitive pricings for most products. The more popular the products, the cheaper it stays. Most products are at least 30-40% cheaper than in-store and 10-20% cheaper than other online store. Sometimes even more! However, the less popular products tend to have little discounts when compared to the manufacturers.
Variety – iHerb offers more than 30,000 of products. It is much more than any other online supplement stores have. You are mostly likely to find the supplements you need. However, since iHerb sells products based on popularity and sales volume, you might have find that they remove the less popular products and replace with new brands or similar products from popular brands. If the product happens not to be selling well within 6 months - 1 year (i think), they will remove it and you have to find it somewhere else.
Ordering and shipping – Ordering is very easy. Normally, it takes me less than a minute if you already know what you want to buy. Payment is very fast as well after entering your debit/credit card’s number once. Your order is shipped quickly within 1-2 days and 95% of the times arrived within the estimated time based on the delivery service available. The only time they are slow in sending out is during the Christmas and New Year period.
For international customers, they have the airmail, free if under $80 value and 3 pounds, DHL and FedEx. Airmail is good if you don’t mind waiting and there is no tracking number. You can’t order much with the limitation as you can get bigger % discounts with larger orders. DHL is the best. It’s hugely discounted and delivered real fast. They can even do a redelivery if you are not at home at time of first delivery. (Airmail undelivered will end up in the post office where you have to go and collect yourself). FedEx is more expensive and does the same as DHL.
Customer support – It’s generally ok but need improvements. They have live customer support and they respond quickly. There are times when I noticed that they actually sell larger size bottle/container of similar supplements at higher price per mg/pill (should be cheaper instead). They change the price immediately within 5 minutes after telling them. There are also twice when they miss some products in my order. They gave me a refund and no questions asked. (Some companies will ask for evidence or even mail the whole box back and incur additional shipping costs etc..). Their support always replies to questions within 1 day.
The only downside is that some supplements manufacturers tend to update their formulations regularly. iHerb is generally slow in updating the changes. I did trouble myself to inform them about it and guess what.... the support asks me to take a photo and upload it for them to see. No thanks. They can either stick to the outdated information, lift their fingers to call the manufacturers or even ask the packers to do verification.
Others - iHerb occasionally does huge discounts on popular brand name, discounts for products less than 6 months from expire date and discounts on new name in store. Do check in periodically. You can also get a free sample per order per person. 1

"I ordered some superfood from iHerb.com to my address in Norway about one and a half months ago. For some reason unknown to me the package got stuck in the customs and returned back to iHerb.

iHerb refunded some of the amount I payed, but decided to keep 20% for them self in addition to the shipping fees. With goodwill I can understand the shipping fees, but the 20% of the order they did not refund is flat out bad customer relationship policy. What disturbs the most is their very impolite way of telling me this, and their total lack of wish to sort it out to end up with a satisfied customer. They even stopped replying me."

"If you haven't ordered from iherb.com before you're probably wondering why you're seeing all of these 1000s of promo codes everywhere. Well, after the first time you buy, they give you a unique code to give to friends, family and the internet. Then if anyone uses it they give you anywhere between 1-4% of the sale in iherb rewards which is just free iherb money. Its not a scam, although I thought it was at first too because of all the promo codes. But all of the promo codes are exactly the same and they're just from actual customers like me that are planning to buy more from iherb. I personally have been buying from iherb.com for almost four years now (usually about once every two months) and they are the best site for vitamins and health/natural products. Over that time I think there was one shipment that had a missing item and they sent me a replacement one instantly. Other than that I never had any problems.
