"After reading alot of reviews from numerous sites about iherb. I decided to make a purchase and give them a try. Never again!! If you are a international customer don't bother. I live in Australia and many reviewers warned of custom checking bills of $40+ when using DHL and UPS (high chance due to strict broader security). The site recommends normal international airmail to avoid this and says it takes 10 days and is very reliable. Bullshit!!!
Waited 2 weeks and nothing came so I contacted iherb and they told me that it normally takes 3 to 4 weeks, so I waited. 6 weeks on still no goods and iherbs reply was they were not responsible for lost goods. I'm upset but not mad, lesson learned. I'm definately not happy about the description of the Shipping services. Iherb stated that international airmail was reliable but after more reading of the sites reviews, lost goods was a common story. Makes me wonder if they actually send the goods in the first place. I buy alot of items online from around the world using basic airmail. First time I have not recieved an item. Most Postal services are pretty reliable and with so many reports of missing goods, I believe my order was lost at their warehouse packing stage (I got scammed). IF YOU LIVE IN AUSTRALIA STAY CLEAR OF IHERD."
"Canadians beware. I ordered DHEA and selected DHL as a shipping method because I wanted it to arrive quickly. Two weeks later, it had not yet arrived. I discovered it had been seized by customs because DHEA is not allowed in Canada without a doctor's note. When I contacted iherb to ask for a refund I was told that there was a notice saying this. When pressed, I learned that you only see this notice if you calculate shipping in advance of placing the order, which I didn't do. They refused to refund me my money. I think that this information should have been given to me in my shopping cart before checking out, especially since I'm sure CBSA will be returning the product to them. "
"This is a really excellent site, and a good company. They have consistently low prices, usually the best or close to the best. They offer an additional discount for frequent buyers, which, while not as generous as in previous years, is still a good deal. Shipping for orders about $40 is free, and you can upgrade to faster shipping at very reasonable cost.
I have had problems with them shipping canned goods, where the cans arrived dented, or a case of bottles, where a few were broken. They are just not set up to ship food properly. But the deals where so good that I ordered anyway. In each case, wherever there was damage, they immediately reshipped the unacceptable items and did not make me send them back.
They are my second favorite supplier, after Amazon.com. I have probably placed 25 or so orders with them in the last two years, usually about 2 orders a month.
"I've been a long and loyal iHerb customer until recently when I had bad side effects from one of their products, only to find out they don't publish negative reviews or respond to consumer complaints about side effects and publishing honest reviews about them. No more iHerb for me!"
"I have to say that they have a large selection of brands & organic choices that are good however I received a package of raw stevia that had a cut through the package looks like from when they opened the carton but how do I really know who & how that cut got there? They sent it to me anyway in a plastic bag I emailed them about it & twice they deleted my email & once asked what I needed help on. I have yet to see what they are going to do about their poor choice. I refuse to eat the stuff who knows what may be in it? UPDATE: in order to get results you MUST go on their site & do a live chat. They claim to be sending me a replacement which is all I expected. I did ask that they report my issue to supervisors & was told they would, who knows?"

"I have purchased from iHerb many times over the last several years, and never had a single problem. To the contrary, their service has been impeccable, and their shipping as prompt as it gets. In fact, they've invariably sent my orders by Priority Mail when I've selected only their "Best Value" shipping.
Don't be put off by the graphically-challenged nature of their website. Their site looks pretty amateurish, but their service and selection are top notch. And while, unlike in the past, their prices may not now be the lowest on the net, I still usually end up getting the best deal from them overall, when factoring in discount coupon codes and their free shipping on orders over $40. Highly recommended, with a small town touch, and run by people who genuinely care about customer satisfaction."
Last order never arrived, although they did charge me, they showed zero interest in chasing it up, so basically I might as well set light to my money and save myself the time and hassle, even though I have spent thousands with them previously.
I told them to remove my account, they couldn't care less that they were losing my custom and that of those I had recommended iHerb to."
"Repeat buyer of ???? times. I lost count. This place has just about everything one can imagine and offer great discounts for large volume buyers. Definitely a major threat for the overpriced GNC and Vitamin World."
"After finding the lowest price for the products I wanted at Google Shopping, I placed my first order on September 9, taking advantage of the $5 discount for first-time customers. I received an immediate email order confirmation and a shipping notification five hours later. I received my order two days later, on the other side of the country.
One thing that amazed me about doing business with iHerb.com was that the shipping cost indicated on the mailing label was more than the amount I was charged. When was the last time you saw that?
I have the highest praise for this merchant and recommend them highly."
"I have been purchasing from iherb for several years now. Fast shipping and all items recieved. I have recieved free products in all my orders. I also am involved with their rewards program and by putting my code out have recieved over $700 in credit which has paid for most of my items I have ordered. My last 2 orders from iherb have been delayed first one took a week last one has been over 2 weeks and not shipped. But It doesnt matter to me. It is temporary as they are revamping warehouse obviously for even better service later. I was told they should be done in a couple of weeks. Remember the low prices, fast shipping, free gifts, And it makes it all worth the wait. Machelle"
