"I Love IHerb. They have the best Customer Svc. They ship out your order the same day if you place your order by 3pm PT. When I am back living in my home in CA I get the package the next day. Just standard shipping. While I'm back here in CT caring for my Mom I get the package 3, or 4 days the latest. Again just standard shipping. They have spoiled me with their great srv. I ordered products from a company in NY thinking I might get it super fast. No, here it is 2 wks later & I still don't have that package. So all my shopping will be done @ IHerb. Great prices too. Only thing I hope they will concern is taking Paypal for payment."

"For the first time ever, I disagree with the average review at ResellerRatings.

I placed an order with iHerb on a Monday. It shipped out that afternoon, I got an email on Tuesday that it had cleared customs, the DHL driver drove by without stopping on Wednesday, and the package arrived at my door in rural Canada on Thursday. That's faster than some of the local shops can get stuff to us! Expiry dates on the products was 2016 on one and 2013 on the other; i.e. five and two years from now.

COD was 5% GST plus a $10 brokerage fee. Shipping charged by iHerb was approximately half what I would pay to DHL myself - they must get a deal because they ship so much or something.

They seem to be promoting their $5 off for new customers deal pretty aggressively. The code they gave me was OYE563 . Not sure how long it's good for but hopefully someone will see this before it expires and get $5 off their first order.

If you believe the other reviews, it appears that they don't accept returns, and often non-trackable packages get lost. Knowing that, I'll be sure to choose wisely and use shipping that I can track. (I always practice this anyway when ordering things online.)"

"My order, dispatched on November, never arrived. Iherb standard answer says that they doesn't take care of missing orders and don't give the money back, but they also say: "However, airmail deliveries are very reliable and are a favorite shipping method for our valued customers in Europe and Asia Pacific with an average delivery time of 10 days (including weekends). Also, chances are high that you will not pay any additional customs import taxes)". Iherb has made a publicity themselves of this untrackable way of getting our orders. This is the first time in my life that a e-shop doesn´t give me a refund or send my items again (even with non-trackable shipments). It isn't an issolated issue and it's not just about my country post service as they said to me. If you take a look at Iherb facebook wall you could check how many people haven't received their orders, so obviously there´s a problem. Customer Service Department only send standard answers. Anyway, I do know that sometimes they give somebody a refund. I´ve asked them about this but they don´t say anything. I don´t know why should I have less rights as a customer just because I buy via internet."

"I feel fortunate so far to have had a great experience with iHerb so far. Nothing but fast processing, fast delivery, great prices. Other family members are using as well and have similar good experiences. Would recommend to everyone."

"iherb offered a free shipping offer on the site was for orders of $20 or more. My order was over $20, However, the system would not show the free shipping option. I contacted customer service rep Terri via chat, who instructed me to place the order and that she would remove the shipping charges as the system was not working correctly. However, after placing the order, she said that she had to send a message to her manager to remove the shipping charges. After several emails to customer service, they refused to refund my shipping charges. Sample iherb email reply below.

"I was a little leery of ordering from iherb.com, because of the scattered bad reviews I've seen on this site and others. However, given the significant price advantage they had versus other sites for what I was ordering (cereal), I decided to take a gamble.

I placed my order on Tuesday night, they emailed me to let me know my package had shipped Wednesday morning, and I received it Friday (UPS Ground). Flawless. They even threw in a sample size jar of jam and a sample of cocoa."

"It's now been 4 weeks and my order hasn't arrived. Their customer service is useless, I get the same form email as a reply every time I write to them. I would not recommend this company to anyone."

My 'lost' order from 28th Feb has finally arrived. My apologies to iHerb for the previous comment. Nonetheless, their customer service could have been more customer-focused... Otherwise, excellent product range and quality, shipping packaging and feedback system. Will keep ordering from them until their competitors have offered competitive shipping rates.

I have been waiting for one of my orders worth $54 for 6 weeks (!) now. Even for delivery to Australia it's way too long. I sent them an email asking about the order but they didn't respond.

I have made 13 orders from iHerb in the last 4 months, and totally loved their products and shipping rates. However, I won't recommend iHerb to anyone anymore. Too unreliable.

The person who said that negative comments were made by iHerb's competitors was talking [nonsense]. They praise iHerb just to make you use their discount coupon. You can use mine instead (YUC109) if you are not afraid to buy from them... :-/"

"I just order with iherb and got a funny email together with my order confirmation. iherb is asking me to send a copy (back and front) of my bank card together with an electricty/water bill to be sure that international customers, who are using iherb the first time, are the 'genuine' owner of the credit card. This is against all security measure. Sounds more like a scam!! And after reading all the negative reviews and getting worried to have order with iherb. I am considering to cancel my order/bank card."

"It has been 6 weeks since I placed an order with them...and never again. Below is the email they sent me as an explanation.

International mail postal service tracking numbers are not trackable – they are only a reference number.
