"I went to FYE to buy some DVD-Rs and the casher gave me a panthlet of "FREE" magazines to sign up for... I said no, but she told me I had to so I circled entertainment weekly, people, and cosmo just because the other two were porn (one was playboy WTF?!)... I am still getting charged 4 months later and I keep calling in to cancel them... Just this month they charged me for a different magazine I NEVER signed up for... This is harassment and a terrible scam! I am seriously thinking of canceling my credit card because they have taken over $50 from my account already! I already tried to file this as my first dispute on my credit card 3 times but it wouldn't load, but thankfully on the 4th try it worked...: I never even ordered this magazine! I was scammed by FYE to sign up for 3 free magazines and I cancelled EVERY single magazine FYE signed me up for, but this is a new magazine that I never signed up for! I canceled every magazine they charged me for, but they keep signing me up for new magazines and charging me. This is harassment and needs to stop. I have called countless times to cancel."

No customer service whatsoever,ignores all your emails, whatever email address you use (I tried them all) and even when your messages are sent directly on their site.Impossible to get rid of their junk mail, too. They give no safe 'Unsubscribe' link, that is, an URL that I could copy and paste in my browser, to be sure we don't click on a link in a spam email that might not be from them.I am so sick of them...and yet can't get rid of them. They keep emailing me against my will, won't unsubscribe me."

I pre-ordered mlb2k12 3/1..game released 3/6...as of 3/7 4:30pm order is still processing. I just called to cancel and no one has a clue. It takes over a week to find a game a package it up? Most respectable businesses have a pre-order to your house the day before it's released in store (as u can go to store at midnight)...newegg ships 100x the amount of things this POS company does, and nothing has taken more than 24 hours from them to ship. JOKE JOKE JOKE..no wonder fye doesnt monitor this website, it would take a team of employees."
"was a long time customer of fye, i purchased a couple of 3d blu ray dvds, from fye.com received one that was in wrong format had to pay shipping to return it, the other 3d blu ray, i no longer wanted so i returned it, items were paid with fye gift card , fye sends me automated emails everyday claiming they havent received the dvds, when in fact they received the items on november 28 2011. the date is now january 11 2012 still havent received my refund , ive called the about 10 times just gives me bs that it takes 4-8 weeks to issue a gift card refund, what a joke. ill never buy anything from them again, they will steal your money. until this day still claims they havent received , even after i gave them the tracking info, and a copy of the tracking receipt from the usps. hi guys i call fye corporate number befor i wrote this review, spoke to a lady said she would check on my refund, didnt really think she would but 10 mins later received my refund, so i call the number on the back of the fye gift card and my money has been refunded., after 6 weeks of bs , one call to theire coporate office and iam issued a refund, wow after all the calls and emails iam happy i didnt give up. but i will never buy from fye again. i call this coporate number 518-459-0101 yes fye still sucks"
"DO NOT BUY FROM FYE.COM!!!! This is the worst experience I have ever had buying something. I pre-ordered Modern Warfare 3 for Xbox 360. Waited a month, when it came out, my son was so excited. Got the package and it was for PS3!!!!! My son's PS3 had just been stolen! that's why I was buying him the game to make him feel better. So I try to contact them and there is no phone number. There is also no record of my email address in their system even though I ordered it that way and got my confirmation that way. It took me over a week to get a return authorization. In the meantime they sent another game. Guess what? Wrong game again! It has been almost a month and someone signed for the returned game 8 days ago at their facility and they are still sending me emails that they never rec'd it but will not answer any questions, etc or return my money. I will never buy anything from them again!!!!"
"On 11-10-2011 I bought a XBOX 360 MW3 SYSTEM from the F.Y.E from (NEWPORT MALL IN NEW JERSY) I spend $426 for the xbox When I got home the same day I bought the system I found out the system was not working (IT HAD THE RED RING OF DEATH)I called the store to let them know that the system was not working when I spoke to one of the rep from F.Y.E they said they would not take refunds for ELETRONICS and GAME SYSTEMS they don't even exchange it. The next day I took the XBOX SYSTEM WITH MY RECIPT I ask to speak with a Manager The Manager JOEY RIVERA was very rude he told me "deal with the manufator there is nothing we can do for you". I told the manager to return my money or to give me a new one he then again said "I won't refund you nor exchange it deal with it is company policy" make the story short I end up leaving the store without exchange or my money a broken xbox system from the box. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE IF YOU DON WANT TO END UP COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS STORE LIKE ME."
"fye.com sucks. i currently have 2 orders that i have been waiting to be refunded on. in the past month i've sent over 10 emails and 7 phone calls. nobody can just take care of the issue over the phone. everything has to be passed along to a supervisor who never follows up or takes care of it. i swear they're screwing with me because how hard is it to refund someone when they cancel a order BEFORE it was even shipped out. both orders were pre-orders for video games and i canceled them before there release date. any other retailer will credit your money immediately and will go out of their way to assist you and be prompt. FYE has ignored me several times. they even canceled my gift card after the pre-order so i had no card for the refund to be credited to. i gave them another card# and am still waiting. these 2 orders are so basic, that's why i can't understand what the hold up is. the merchandise was never even shipped to me. i emailed them 4 times before they responded 9 days later. since then i've made numerous attempts and i keep being told they're forwarding this matter to they're superior. epic fail."
"Ordered a DVD 30 days ago from the fye.com website. never came. Website said I had to wait 21 days past the alleged ship date before I could call about the lost order. I emaled (no phone number provided)on day 21. It took the company several days to reply, and when they did so, simply stated that I needed to call customer service at a given number. I did so ... they then said I had to wait 30. Each call I've made to fye.com's customer care line has resulted in me being on hold between 12 and 16 minutes. The "solution" to my lack of shipped item is that now I get to fill out a lost in transit form to try and get my money back. I reordered my item on Monday from barnes and noble. It's currently "out for delivery" with ups and I expect it this afternoon (friday)."

"FYE is an absolutely awful company. We've ordered a couple things from them before that turned out fine, but our latest experience has really, really turned us off to them.We ordered three items as part of a deal online, buy two get one free. Two of the items shipped. Four days after we were notified that the two items shipped, we received an email saying that the third item was unavailable and was removed from the order. This meant instead of getting three items for price X, we were only getting two for price X (because the third one was free and all three cost the same amount). We called to cancel the order, but we were told that since the first two items had shipped, we would need to wait until we received the items, then work at returning them (at our cost to ship, which they would later reimburse us with a significant hassle). We have since called customer service 6 times, e-mailed them 3 times, and done everything we could to resolve the issue. We have not even gotten a response, much less a resolution, and it has been 6 weeks since we first attempted to resolve this. Unfortunately, we are stuck because customer service has zero power - the claim was sent to corporate. Neither us nor customer service has heard back from corporate about it, and they aren't allowed to give out corporate's telephone number. So we can't contact them, don't hear back from them and basically have no ability to even get ahold of someone who has any power in this situation.I find it outrageous that they 1) shipped the items without the third one, 2) only notified us 4 days after the first two shipped that the third one was unavailable, 3) have not even responded to our claim (we believe they're just tabling it in hopes we'll let it go), 4) don't allow us to talk to anyone who has a hand in solving this issue.Our original solution was that they reimburse us 1/3 of the total, allowing us to essentially get the discount, but keep the two items we have. Since it has taken so long to even hear anything from FYE, we are now going to demand that we receive a full refund for the items. We will contact everyone we can, including Trans World (who owns FYE), our credit card company, and anyone else we can help. We will spread the word everywhere we can that nobody should buy from FYE. They will rue the day that they screwed up our order!"
"THIS IS THE WORST ONLINE COMPANY. STAY AWAY AND NEVER BUY FROM THEM. When i returned some items (with authorization number)They would not return my money! I have been fighting them for 4 weeks. I finally filed a claim with Paypal...still waiting. "
"The prices at FYE aren't the lowest, but it was the customer service that made it worth it. I had ordered incorrect cds for a gift, and found out well after my purchase. I only had a few days to resolve the situation, but FYE.com allowed me to exchange the merchandise for the correct products. The shipping was just as advertised, and they even upgraded it at no extra cost. Very thankful for their service, and will be a returning customer."
"So on March 13, 2010 I went in to FYE on the Warwick Mall(Rhode Island) and pre ordered a CD that was due to come out on April 6, 2010. Well the week before the CD was due to come out the Warwick Mall store had flooded, not their fault, but I called the next closest one to tell them, and they said no problem, we will grab an extra one and give it to you with your receipt. Now, when you pre order a CD the company makes a special order with your name on it so they have enough items to give to the people that made the pre order. Well I go in on the 6th to find out that they "forgot" to put one aside and that they had none in the store because they sold out of them. Keep in mind, I got in within the first 30 mins of them being opened and they had no more of this CD that came in 4 different versions (I also listen to heavier music, with it not being as popular as your mainstream stuff i doubt they sold out within a half hour on a weekday). The lady then told me they are getting more thursday and to come back. I call thursday, they didn't get any in and there is nothing they can do. I am going to press my luck and TRY to get a refund, but never ever ever go to FYE, they are the worst customer serviced company EVER!"
"Don't ever order from www.fye.com. They have essentially stolen my money. Even if you talk to a person on the 1-800 number (newest way is to press "7" after dialing number), they can't do anything. Only the "supervisor" that doesn't work during normal business hours can handle claims, and he or she will never contact you. I ordered a blu-ray disc that was poorly shipped in an envelope with no padding, disc was loose in the package, scratched, and unplayable. After forcing me to pay to ship it back to them, they have not refunded my money. Talking to the people it is because of a reload error on their end but they can't do anything - only the supervisor. I hope this company folds or the Federal Trade Commission shuts them down. If I stole a blu-ray from their store, I'd go to jail - how come they don't go to jail for stealing customers money? The website should be forced to be taken down and Trans World should no longer be allowed to conduct business via on-line.If any of you see this that have been ripped off by fye.com, please do as I did and submit a complaint to the BBB of New York (headquarters for Trans World Media is located in Albany), Federal Trade Commission, and letter to the headquarters. If enough people complain about this company's fraud tactics, maybe they'll be forced to close their on-line business."
"WHAT AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!! On 12/11/09, my wife placed an order and neglected to change the standard shipping method to "budget shiping" to get the free shipping for an order over $30. She sent an e-mail, at 10:15am EDST, 7 minutes after placing the order recognizing that a mistake was made. That mistake, cost HOURS of my time attempting to resolve it. Even after contacting the corporate office 3 times during the day, it took me until almost 9pm to get someone to help me. The customer service reps, and even their supervisors, are rude, recultant to help.....but everyone of them acknowledged that the website is misleading.....imagine that???? There is an option on the site to "cancel before shipping". However, literally seconds after you hit enter for your order, that option is no longer available to you. Why bother having that as an option then???? Even their own customer service reps can't cancel an order before it is shipped. Because, as I was told, the packing label can be printed and a processing center can accept the order within seconds. Thus, a human being CAN NOT knowingly make a mistake and have it corrected. Once you make a mistake and try to correct it, you are at their mercy. After arguing with people there for hours, they finally agreed to refund my shipping charges.....I couldn't believe this was happening for $8!!! They spent more than $8 in salaries dealing with me. One of their reps, David, even stated, "This was all your fault anyway, and we are going above and beyond correcting what was your fault." Really???? I tried to correct my mistake 7 minutes after I made it.....so what favor is this company doing for me?????? Its no wonder that the BBB recieved 161 complaints against this company."
