"Warning - if you are buying a gift card as I did, expect a long wait, and little help in trying to figure out when it will be delivered. I placed the order on April 21, 2013. The gift card did not arrive until May 9th. That's 18 days. Completely missed my niece's birthday. And apparently it is normal to wait this long, and not have any USPS tracking info while you wait. When I called the company, their attitude was "oh well, that's just the way it is, nothing we can do about it." I'll certainly never order from forever 21 again!"
"I buy clothes from forever 21 all the time. Usually, the clothes I buy last for while, but sometimes when I buy something it seems to wear our quickly.Last weekend I bought I shirt with tassels on it along with about $200 worth of other clothes. Today was my first time wearing the shirt. The tassel on one side of the shirt just fell apart. I looked down and there were about 100 tiny strings in my lap. I have never washed the shirt and had only been wearing it for about an hour. I took it to the store, spoke with a manager and explained that I had never even washed the shirt and had only been wearing it for a short amount of time. She said that there is nothing she could do because I had taken the tag off and had worn the shirt. So, i spent $25.00 for a shirt that has been worn for a couple of hours and cannot be worn again. I think that for a company that has "John 3:16" on the bottom of their bags, this is not a very Christian policy. Sad to say that due to this I will no longer shop at Forever21. I have always shopped there and have been able to deal with sometimes getting clothes that quickly lose there value, but I guess you get what you pay for."
"Bought shoes for $25- expensive by F21 standards. The fabric split the first time I wore them - clearly inferior quality. They refused to take back or give credit because i wore them. Hello-I had them on less than 2 hours. The fabric was so thin these things should have never been sold. Then they told me I could get 10% off my next $50 purchase that expires in 7 days - WTF??? So I get the privilege of a $5 discount on $75 worth of crap? No thanks. I've spent hundreds of dollars at this place - I never expect great quality- most of their stuff is only $5-$10. But if a product is clearly defective you take it back. THEY WILL NEVER GET ANOTHER DIME FROM OUR FAMILY. There are much better options out there."
"Hi Everyone!I really wished I saw this before I ordered from Forever 21. I placed my order on Friday,April 5th,2013. They sent me a confirmation email the following day. I checked the status pretty much everyday till Tuesday,April 9th,2013 the purolator site said it was on the vehicle for delivery. I was home all day I didn't receive my package. The website said my address was incomplete which I don't understand and that's why I didn't get my package. I called purolator to tell them and they said it would be shipped again the next day. So now I am waiting. I will NEVER order from Forever21 onlone again because I don't know how they couldn't find my address. I have ordered from many places and this never happened. "

"They keep cancelling my order!I ordered over $100 worth of clothing from Forever 21; however, I live overseas and needed my items shipped to an APO address. When I asked them if they could still allow me the free shipping discount, instead of simply answering me they cancelled my order THEN told me they could not give me free shipping. I went through the ordering process again, as I still wanted my items. After a couple of days, Forever 21 again put my order on hold because of "billing issues" and told me I had 48 hours to respond. The next day I called them and was told by a customer service representative that I needed to send them verification of my billing address. I grudgingly agree, since I still wanted my items. Not 15 minutes later, I received another email notice saying my order was again cancelled. Irritated, I emailed them back requesting that the order be reopened as I had Not been given the full 48 hours to resolve the issue. Of course they say they could not. I will not be ordering from them in the future!"
"I made my first in-store purchase a few days ago. Forever 21 is often featured in magazines and on TV Shows. I finally decided to check it out. A LOT of their items are cheap and poorly made, but there is the occasional nice item. I found a cute shirt, and purchased it. When I paid the cashier, she informed me of their ridiculous return policy. Which really isn't a return policy. You can only make an exchange or get store credit and that's within 21 days. (Sale items are final) The next day, I was still mulling over such an absurd way of doing business and wondering who does that in this day and age. Suddenly, I had my answer. On the bottom of their retail bags is "John 3:16" and then I knew what kind of people treat their customers so poorly. Faux Christians. I'm physically ill knowing I gave these people money, and they're so crooked, I can't get my money back. On a side note: I immediately filled the offensive bag with cat poop. :)"
"WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE in the online retailing business. I never purchase anything from f21 but at the encouragement of a friend I decided to give it a try especially since my friend had a promo code. I knew the fit/quality of the clothes may be questionable but thought I could always exchange or return. DEAD WRONG - BEWARE IF YOU USE A PROMO CODE ALL THE ITEMS YOU PURCHASE ARE AUTOMATICALLY MARKED 'FINAL SALE'. I spoke with a customer representative as well as a supervisor and they will not help you with anything, they keep claiming they can't make exceptions and it was YOUR FAULT you didn't read the fine print then asked me if I wanted to sign up for the promotions. I was even going to pay them the discount I received so that I would not waste the clothes since they're all new. They told me to try to convince a store manager to exchange or give me store credit - that maybe there will be exceptions there but warned me the bar codes on the item wouldn't scan. I politely asked for options and to understand why they had these policies. The supervisor told me I shouldn't use promo codes if I didn't know, that I can't expect them to behave like other retailers. I asked him what other retailer has a ridiculous policy like this and he was unable to list any. Like their clothes, their customer service is just as shoddy. You get what you pay for. Thank goodness I only wasted $50 to learn my lesson, I hope this helps others. They are really awful when it comes to customer service. I am never making another purchase from forever21."
"Horrible customer service, NO RESPONSE!! ordered some Jewelry for a birthday present, item were shipped from a zip code 3 hrs. far from my location, 7 days and still not received, WILL NOT BUY AGAIN, Avoid, after that I've seen a lot of complaints against this crap store"
"HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE online service!! Customer service reps are RUDE and unhelpful. Seems to me they are not given the power to anything beyond canceling an order! I purchased over $100 and so I qualified for free shipping, but within the hour, my daughter found something else she wanted. I called, hoping I could have it added to my current order and still get free shipping. I was told I would have to cancel that order and go through the whole online ordering process again! It took several minutes to do this and when I went to check out, I realized that one of my items was showing up as twice the price than what it should have been and what I had been charged in the previous order. I called again and was told that I would have to go ahead a pay the higher price and THEN have to call back in AGAIN to get a credit issued! I asked the rep if she would please hold the line with me so that I didn't have to go through the wait process of calling in and explaining it to another person and she refused. She said that since it was an inbound calling center that she could not sit on the phone with me for more than a minute! I said , "so, it's okay if your company wastes my time but not if I waste yours? She said, Um, yes. That is how it works. Unbelievable!! I tried to hurry through the order process and to keep her on the line and the next thing I know, after hitting the checkout key, my entire order disappeared!! I had askd if the refund would go to my paypal, which is how i had paid the first time and she said, yes, you might want to use a credit card. so I tried but since i wasnt signed in as a "user" she to,d me to use the guest button and that is when my order disappeared!! When I told her what happened, she again told me that I could call back in and that she would leave notes on my account for the next rep but that she could not stay on the phone any longer. Before I could say anythingnelse, she HUNG UP ON ME!! I was stunned.mFinally, after replacing my order a THIRD time, I called back in and, after waiting on hold 10-15 minutes, I tried to explain everything I had been through with the new rep on the phone. Come to find out, the last rep had not left any notes like she had promised and there was now no way to even know who she was!! The only way they keep record of who has helped you is if they happen to leave notes! I asked to speak to a supervisor but was told that none were available and that they would have someone call me (which hasn't happened yet!) I asked the rep if she could offer any sort of discount on my order for my troubles and was told that all she could give me was a promo code for 10% off my NEXT purchase! Really??!!!? That's insulting. On top of all of this, to make matters worse, I got an email saying that my order is placed on hold and will be cancelled unless I call within 48 hours. I called and apparently my address didn't match the credit card on file ( I recently moved) and that there was no way they could go in and change account information, (what??)..so once again I am told that I have to CANCEL my order and start all over again!! BUT i checked my bank and they have charged me for the first order that was cancelled, and they had already charged me for the second re-order, but then credited it back! how is it that they say they cant process my order, but then charge my card? and now i have to try to get them to credit back the FIRST charge! This is truly the most ridiculous excuse for a company! To be so large and to have such horrible, ANTI-customer service! Overall, I wasted at least two hours of my time. I ordered over $100 in merchandise, and was excited about my purchases, but at this point, I think I will walk away with a lesson learned. NEVER SHOP FOREVER 21 online!!! Update:it's Monday and I am trying to get ahold of customer service again so that I can let them know that I am disputing the charge with my bank and reporting them to the BBB. I have been on hold for 40 minutes!! This is insane. "
"This was the first time I've shopped with Forever 21 (I was completely unaware they had plus sizes until recently) and I found the selection to be good although the clothes ran small. I did like how they posted the model's measurements because I would have had a problem if I had gone with the size chart. I bought three long-sleeved shirts and the price were reasonable, as was the quality. I found the shipping to be fast as well. Overall I am neutral, because I really don't see a lot of things I'd actually wear in their plus department, but what I did buy turned out well."
"WATCH OUT A BUNCH OF LIARS AND THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!I placed an order with forever21.com on or about 12/04/12. When I did not get a confirmation email as I usually do I contacted forever21 the next business day. I was told that my order did not process and I was not billed any amount of money and should submit the order again, which I did the same day. A few days later while browsing my paypal account, I saw 2 different transactions for the same amount. Apparently the first order had processed and now I had been billed twice! On 12/12/12, I called forever 21 once again and was told by Walter that I could return one of my orders back to them, and since it was an error on their part, I would be refunded my shipping fees in full as long as I provided a receipt. I mailed the package back to them the next day with the shipping receipt for $16.92 enclosed. On 12/21/12 I called forever 21 and spoke with Walter again as I had still not received my refund for the shipping fees. I was told that it would be processed in 5-7 business days. On 1/2/13, I once again called forever 21 as my credit had still not been issued. I spoke with Eric who told me he did not see any notation on my account, but he would credit me in 3-5 days for my shipping fees. On 1/9/13 I once again called forever 21 and spoke this time with David who basically gave me the same answer, and now said that a check had been issued to me on 12/31/12, and should be received by the end of the week. On 1/14/13 I called forever 21 once again and spoke with Olivia. She told me that she would put in a notation to have my credit mailed out. I told her that I had been given the same answer numerous times, with out any result and wanted to get to the bottom of things. When I questioned her regarding the refund and asked to speak with a supervisor to clarify I was refused. At this point I am frustrated and not sure where to turn. Although this dispute is regarding a mere $17.00, it is more about the way that this company treats their customers and expects to get away with it. Imagine if 10 people were cheated out of 17.00. The company has a nice profit of $1700! I also spent about 3-4 hours on the phone trying to track my refund, which is time that I did not have to waste. At this point I want my money, and I want the world to know how difficult it is to do business with this terribly unscrupulous company."
"I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews, must be a few one offs. I rarely write any comments, but feel compelled this time. Recently ordered a bunch of items from Forever 21 and everything arrived within 3 business days. They provided me with a tracking number that provided status reports and return shipping label if anything went wrong. All the items were well packaged, good quality and fit well. I don't really enjoy shopping at their store and worried about their quality, but wanted to take a chance online as the deals were too good to give up. I am so glad I made my order because the online store completely exceeded my expectations and look better than what's offered at the store. Everything online is organized and you don't have to deal with waiting in lines or feeling overwhelmed. Will purchase from them online."

"DO NOT BUY FROM FOREVER 21...EVER!!! My boyfriend recently purchased some clothes for me from forever 21's website around black friday for my christmas present. After we were already charged for my order, they then had the courtesy to tell me my order was on hold for some unknown reason and had to be cancelled.They told me the funds would be put back into my boyfriends account within 3-5 business days. YEAHHHH..ok. I then reordered the exact same stuff, was charged for that, original amount was never refunded, PLUS we got charged another $60. They said that the last $60 dollar charge didn't show up in their system. When i tried calling to fix the problem, I GOT HUNG UP ON 3 TIMES!!! They over charged his account so much that its now negative $60!!! THEY FUCKED UP YET I'M HAVING TO FIX THIS SHIT??? I think not. Never giving them my business again..EVER. Thanks ForNEVER 21"
