"PEOPLE AVOID EXPANSYS!!! I ordered phone which was in stock with the next day delivery option. I'm waiting nearly two weeks. I sent to seller two e-mails and no respond so I called them to cancel transaction but they refused to give me money back. Exspanys explained me that they can't because supplier doesn't have the phone in stock and the status of order is marked as shipped. The explanation is ridicules and item wasn't shipped. I have right in this situation to cancel the order, they don't even know when the phone will be in stock on 100%. I feel cheated and not only my time was wasted but also money. Any apologies will not give me money back. Only problems. Already open case with paypal."
"I have shopped with Expansys for sometime now and so far I have found them very cooperative, understanding and helpful, I have bought quiet a few items from them Via PayPal and through their credit scheme and also returned a few and every time there was somebody there to help me out throughout the process.I am a loyal customer of Expansy and will remain to do so until they give me a reason to think otherwise."

"Shocking - Avoid like the plague.I ordered a Beosound 8 speaker system which was showing as 'in stock' on the eXpansys site. The purchase and finance process went smoothly enough, and I received an email confirming my purchase, with a link to enable me to check progress. I kept an eye on this over a few days and notices the status change initially from 'in stock' to 'expected in 6 days' to discontinued. At no time did eXpansys contact me. I phoned customer service and was told they knew of a problem between the stock levels shown on their website and actual levels. The long and the short of the situation was they were unable to fulfill my order and sent my a poorly worded email with which I now need to cancel the finance agreement I signed."
"Never ever trust Expansys. I purchased a Buffalo mini station air, it arrived very quickly but unfortunately it was paid for on Paypal and developed a fault. Buffalo agreed on a direct replacement as they acknowledged the fault. I sent back the item to Expansys with the request from Buffalo for an immediate replacement. This won't happen, Expansys want to inspect the item and despite my and Buffalos instructions will not replace the item until they get around to it. Buffalo have told me Expansys should not be inspecting the item as it should just be replaced. I have phoned,emailed and tweeted the CEO, who has replied but still getting nowhere. They are now ignoring my emails. In future I will never pay for high value items using PayPal as if I had paid by credit card they would have helped with a refund, also Buffalo can't help as they have said I have to follow Expansys system. If anyone is interested.eXpansys order reference 2C44-013B-D9D2. Not sure of the exact date of purchase.In reply to ExpansysYou got sent by me a product return form that was sent to me by Buffalo, I had an acknowledgement from Expansys of this form. The form stated that a replacement should be sent out, I was even asked by Expansys who at Buffalo I dealt with and I gave the name of Miguel. I contacted Miguel again and he explained that he couldn't help me anymore and that I just had to deal with Expansys as he had done all he could. The form was sent two times once to email@example.com and once to Jodie in the UK, she at first said she would get a replacement sent out and then told me that the unit would have to be inspected. Somewhere along the way you even are not being told the truth. I have even emailed Jodie this week and still have not had a reply.I welcome your comments now.Thank you"

"Well it has now been 5 weeks since I ordered a particular item from Expansys and I have yet to hear a peep from them regarding the delay on an item that was supposedly in stock when I ordered it. After 2 weeks (at which point the item was already over a week late) I emailed them at firstname.lastname@example.org requesting that they send me it as soon as possible or at least give some reason for the delay and that they change the delivery address as I am no longer at the one given. I have had no response to this and am extremely unhappy with all of the service given. The counter on their website now says 4 days until delivery... I'm not getting my hopes up."
"I would never use this company again. Why? I bought a phone from them on the 2-1-13 and paid £5.88 for next-day delivery, which I did not receive. Queried this with them and they said they would refund my £5.88. The phone was held on to, waiting for a UK adaptor as the phone was an EU issue. Eventually I received my phone on the 7-1-13 despite phoneing them a number of time and asking it to be sent and the adapter could follow when in stock, as the confirmation of the sale said it would be in stock about 24 day days. I was assured by two different customer service people on the 4-1-13 that I would get on my phone on the 5-01-13 even though it was a Saturday. Did I get it NO, it arrived 7-1-13. Since then I have requested the refund of the £5.88 on a number of occasions, today on the 30-1-13 a refund was paid into my paypal account. The customer service this company gives is abysmal. I also asked to speak to a manager on each occasion they were not at their desk!!!! Never recived a return call from them either as requested on a number of occasions. That is why I would never use this company again."

After payment in the order tracking status is "Expected 16 Days" and the order status is "unknow".These are not the conditions for which I agreed to pay. "Very happy with the whole experience. I choose not to pay extra for the next day delivery as there would be no one in. It still turned up next day and was left at the local PO so everything was fine and I save on P&P.The phone has been excellent and I have nothing but a good experience with dealing with expansys."

"Bought a mobile phone from Expansys which was delivered to me on 18.12.12. the instructions and operating system were in German and despite my best efforts I could not obtain them anywhere in English; therefore, not being a German speaker I could not use the phone.I returned the product to Expansys the next day using Royal Mail Special Delivery and the tracking number I was given told me that it was received by them on 20.1.12.Despite repeated calls and emails to Expansys 34 days later I have not received a refund.I leave you to draw your own conclusions..."

"I have purchased a faulty item from this company and over a month after they have had the item back they have still not refunded me!!! And this is despite telling me three times that they would be doing so "within a few days". And then they claim that I have only phoned them once!!!Their customer service is TERRIBLE.Further to a sudden spurt of action by expansys (their comment below), I can report that despite their claims, NO MONEY has hit my card yet. When I pay them, the money goes out instantly!!!"

"I paid for a new Acer Liquid Gallant Duo on the 20th December 2013. I also paid for next day delivery as I hoped to get it for my wife for Christmas. The phone was in stock. My phone has not yet been processed and has moved from being processed, to not being processed back to being processed. It seems the phone has been delayed as the stock Item does not come with a UK charger. The UK charger is not in stock, so expansyss policy is not to send the phone until they can supply the charger (apparently) the charger has gone from expected in 5 days to expected in 13 days, 22 days, 23 days and currently is showing 25 days (and climbing I suppose) I have phoned and asked they send the phone and supply the charger at a later date as I have an acer liquid metal phone charger already. (Can get a uk adaptor for £1.00 anyway) Two customer service operatives said they would arrange for the despatch but nothing. Subsequently no reply to emails and no refund of the "next day postage" I paid which was being referred to their finance department for refund. I can't ever remember a worse service I have received from any internet companies which includes 2000+ transactions on ebay.I feel I have been very polite on my correspondence and now conclude I have been taken advantage of because I am not someone who shouts and rages to get results.I am waiting to see just how long it does take for expansys's to do anything wiith regard to my order and can't believe they will make me wait another 25+ days for the phone because the uk charger is not in stock!My wife is very, very upset at how we are being treated and is very worried we will lost our £160.00 to an uncaring company. "
