"
Like everyone else here, I ordered the 7 inch mini netbook. Except that I ordered 2 of them in November of 2010. One pink and one green. They finally sent me a black one. So of course I returned it. They are now saying I never returned the pink and green netbooks, which I never received in the first place. I've spent the last 6 months working with my bank to get my money refunded and they have also given up. So I am out $286.00 for 2 netbooks.
These were supposed to be Christmas gifts for my granddaughters. I have never been able to speak to a "live" person there. They never answer their phones and now I read that they were over whelmed by the Christmas orders. Well that's bullshit! Christmas is long gone and I still haven't received my refund or what I ordered. I think it's time to go to the media with this. We have a guy in Seattle, called Get Jesse on channel 5 and he specializes in this sort of thing. I'll let you know what happens.

"they are horrible. I have run many mail order companies and their re-stocking fee is excessive. It is a third of the price of the horrible netbook they sell. they should be closed. they abuse their customers and do not care. a total scam."

"I purchased the same $99 netbook that everyone here is talking about. I purchased the additional $12 warranty. I plugged it in and it didn't hold a charge. Emailed them and they sent out another charger. That didn't work. I told them and they sent out a new battery and a new charger. Got it working for about 3 weeks. Then one day the screen had a problem where the refresh was super slow making "ghost" images of the windows. I returned that netbook and they sent out another.
The problem with everyone reviewing saying this netbook is crap is that it is true. I reviewed the specs of the netbook and knew exactly the kind of piece of crap this is going to be.

It will not connect to 802.11n routers. It doesn't have flash or java, nor can you add it. The specs say Windows on Chip and runs Windows CE. There is little is not any additional apps you can add.

It will primarily only do basic web browsing and basic email. It doesn't do flash so no feature rich websites including most kids sites. Speakers are tinny and not loud. I was however able to stream music and play some streaming windows media and youtube videos. Plug in headphones and it's fine for sound. I got exactly what I paid for. Also, I can tether this to my cellphone to browse the web, unlike my wife's NookColor.

The problem is not with the reseller. The problem is with people who don't understand technology. The specs are exactly what they are...cheap and crappy. Why are you getting mad at a reseller for a product you should have known was a big piece of crap?

CVS was selling this exact same netbook last year and received the same complaints.

Stop shortselling your kids on an educational tool and spend the extra $150 to get the HP mini or Acer EeePC if you want something useful."

"This company is truly the worst company I have ever done business with. Unlike many who have had experiences with them, I did speak with Eric, the 'store manager'. He was very rude and cocky about refusing to send a tag for the return postage and also charging the 'restocking fee' for a defective item. Basically, he told me I was out of luck to expect to get any satisfaction from this company.

I ordered the Netbook and it would not work once it was recharged. I then paid to return it and got a replacement that nearly started on fire when we recharged it. They told me that I'd have to pay the restocking fee which is outlandish for a defective item. I decided that I would take the partial refund and I then went to my credit card company and attempted to get the money back from them that way. I was successful. They credited me for the restocking fee, the rush shipping fee and also the warranty I paid for. I did not get the return shipping fee back but I was happy with what I did get. ($47.00)

I am usually a pretty savvy consumer and I was quite impressed by what appeared to be very good reviews of this product and so I purchased it based mainly on that. When I had my awful experience with them, I decided to leave a negative review and voila, it disappeared before it hit the website, therefore I was unable to warn others of this company. I only wish that I had checked further for other reviews of them on other websites before doing business with them.

If you have been ripped off by them, please consider filing a complaint with your credit card company. (There is a time limit for filing.) Have your documentation and you will most likely be successful. Do not let them get away with this and if you have a similar experience, please let others know on sites like this one so that they can be stopped. "

"Paid $116.99 for a mini 7" netbook - - worked horribly just like other reviewers stated. Total refund amount--$74.99, so the 'priviledge' of owning this inferior if not defective product for a week cost me $42.00. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY, even minor accessories that appear risk proof. Their customer service is non-existent, and you will sorely regret it. Even extended warranties are not refunded, so a 2 year extended warranty that I purchased on an item returned 1 week after purchase is kept by the company. Run, don't walk, from this company!"

"I accepted the recommondation that was given to this so-called company by Goggle. In hindsight, I should have known that if Goggle recommends someone it is better to run away from that company/organization than do business with them. I get to join the ranks of those who have been ripped off by this company and I am making it my persoanl mission to warn everyone I come in contact with about the GIANT RIPOFF that is eGlobal Wireless.
I made the mistake of trying to purchase a "mini-netbook" for my daughter. What I received was the hieght of 1970's technology. It was total crap, the version of Windows was something totally unfamilar to me and I have been around computers since the birth of the home pc in the 70's.

The battery in my kids rc car has a longer battery life than this POS does. The wireless range on the unit is under 4 feet. I can go to the local Kmart and get 100 times the unit for the same money and less hassle if there is a problem. I know now where Capitol One got the model for their "Peggy" ads, it was from the so-called service manager at eGlobal.
I am posting this message here as well as on the University message boards with the hopes that no one ever has the misfortune of doing business with them. I am also going to send a copy of this to Goggle itself, not that I beleive that they are going to do anything as long as they are getting their money but maybe. One could hope."

"They are terrible. I bought a netbook for my daughter and it will not work with wi fi. Of course I couldn't get through to anybody on the phone and the online chat person was no help other than to tell me that it was defective and to exchange it for another one. I received my replacement and it doesn't work either. Two weeks later the phone line still says the mailbox is full. I again chatted with somebody who told me after than hour of doing the same exercise to try to figure out why the wifi wasn't working said that I should send it back for another one. I don't want another one - I just want a full refund. I asked who I can speak to regarding not having to pay the 25% restocking fee and I was told that I could only email - the phones are down until further notice. How could a business not have phone service for over two weeks!!"

"This, without a doubt, is one of the WORST companies I've EVER dealt with. Shipment is promised in 48 hours - mine was shipped two weeks later. Product was JUNK and they refused to take it back "because of the holiday RUSH..????". O.K. - "it's defective"....then I must return it at MY expense for THEIR inspection & if they agree (??), pay a 25% re-stocking fee, plus shipping on the replacement. Customer Service is a joke...after calls & e-mails were unanswered I finally received a response (above) only after I contacted my credit card company for assistance. By that time I had re-sold the item on E-bay to someone who needed one for parts...still lost money but lesson learned. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH eGLOBAL WIRELESS!!!!"
