Everything looked OK with the bag (a US Luggage #941,, nice roomy laptop bag), but only later I noticed the shoulder strap was missing. And still later did I contact eBags through their website on Jan 28 re: the missing strap. Received an auto answer email within 12 hours,,received a personal email from them 3 Hours!! after that explaining their line of action.
The next communication from them was 48 hrs later to announce the shipment of the missing strap, and it arrived on Feb 4.
They could easily have dropped the ball here, but instead took care of a glitch in an effective and courteous manner."
