"The calpak roller duffel bag had one wheel damaged even before reaching destination and on first use. Their policy for return is 60 days. My trip takes around that time. They informed me nothing could be done and asked me to contact the manufacturer. After some emails, they compensate me with $10. And gave me info to contact the manufacturer. I did only to find it would cost me as much to send it to them and back and for service charge. The bag is flimsy, not hardy. Not worth the money."
"IF YOU WANT FAST DELIVERY - FORGET ABOUT IT!I ordered a backpack for my upcoming travel with FedEx 2nd Day Air delivery method ($12.95) on 9/9. The estimated delivery date was 9/12. I checked the order status on 9/12 and there was still no tracking number, so I called the customer service. The CS agent told me that she will find out what the problem is and send me a e-mail with update. I asked if they can upgrade the delivery method to FedEx Overnight in case the bag is not shipped yet, so I can still receive it before my travel date. She said that it might be possible. Of course, she did not sent me any updates by email neither called me. Next day 9/13 the tracking number finally appeared with FedEx Ground method and estimated delivery date 9/20! SERIOUSLY? I don't need it after 9/16. And why is it FedEx Ground? I called the customer service again and asked them how could this happen and if the shipping can be upgraded to a FedEx Overnight. They told me that the item was not in stock and they cannot upgrade it to FedEx Overnight. I don't get it. Do you guys track your warehouse? Why I can call FedEx to upgrade my shipping and you cannot? Just pay extra $ to make the customer happy again. Now I requested cancellation of my shipping and if they don't retract the package from FedEx, then I will request a free shipping label to return the package back."
"I ordered a computer bag from eBags, they charged my Paypal account, issued a UPS tracking account with what they claimed was a tracking number but one that UPS didn't recognize, and only after it never showed up and I began sending inquiries did they admit they never had the bag in stock. Buyer beware!"
"I was quite hesitant to order from ebags.com, given the poor ratings I've seen here, but the price for the luggage piece I wanted was just so low in comparison to Amazon, and even more so against our local retailer. Added to that was the fact that it seems wherever you buy luggage, it is sourced through ebags anyway. In any case, I opted for ebags via Google Wallet, and I had no problems. The bag arrived within a few days, still in the manufacturer's boxing, with no damage or evidence of any issues. I was probably just lucky that there weren't any issues for me to really test their customer service, but I really don't have any significant complaints.The only small negative was that they didn't provide any indication that it had shipped, and it just magically appeared at my door. Can't really complain too loudly about that, however."

"I placed an order for over $310 including a red leather bag that was priced very well and I had tracked for a while. The other items arrived as expected but the bag never arrived. The company never notified me that anything was wrong. I email customer service today only to be told that the item "is no longer available" - mind you it was avaiable at the time since the purchase was confirmed and I received an estimated shipping date. They made no attempt to contact me to let me know or to correct the situation - they simply told me to pick another color AT A HIGHER PRICE!!! Terrible customer service - I am letting everyone know"
"Bought a messenger bag for about $30, not very much, sure, but the quality was not adequate even to such low price. It fell apart after some 5 months of using, just for carrying laptop and not everyday use. Now it has holes in it, zippers torn apart, totally useless. After contacting eBags, that I would like to return it, but I am currently for a longer time in Europe, I was told that as soon as I get to US I can return it. They do not ship to Europe. But I need a bag now and do not want to take an old useless bag in my luggage back to the US. They were not willing to help me in any way, just offered a store credit of $10. Will never buy anything from them again. Do not recommend at all!"

They had free shipping after my purchase so I chatted online and eventually they credited me with $5 so the bag was less that $15 total. There's always lots of coupon codes so don't expect to pay full price, search online or ask them using the online chat."
"After exhausting all resources on the internet looking for a reasonably-priced rolling catalog case, I found that ebags.com was the only vendor who not only had exactly what I was looking for, but offered it at a very good price. Some of the reviews here made me hesitate, but upon further analysis, it seemed that they were either questionable or solely related to misunderstandings, so I took a chance and ordered from ebags. I'm extremely glad I did. Here are my observations:1. Their web site is very good. It's well laid out, easy to navigate, and provides very detailed photos and descriptions.2. Prices are extremely competitive. In my case, shipping was free and no taxes were imposed. This made the bottom line unbeatable.3. Although I didn't have to take advantage of their offer, apparently returns are free (ebags will pay the return postage) for a refund or an exchange.4. Communication was excellent. I received immediate verification of my order, and also a subsequent notification of shipping, with tracking information supplied.5. While shipping was not lightning fast, I received my bag in one week, which was fine. 6. Most importantly, the bag I ordered was perfect in every way, and even nicer than I expected. A leather case such as the one I received would cost at least double in a department store or a luggage store.In summary, my transaction with ebags was positive and rewarding in every sense. Perhaps the prior negative reviews triggered a response in their staff to improve their service - which apparently seems to be the case. I will certainly look to them for future luggage needs."
"I ordered two High Sierra backpacks and after three days I received an email from eBags that my ordered has been cancelled because it is out of stock. I emailed them and asked why it was available in their store if they didn't have it and why they didn't inform me earlier so I could get the backpacks from another store before the price get increased. But they didn't answer!"
"Awful. Stay away. Placed order on 8-17 and was given arrival date of 8-29. Shipment notification came on 8-27 - fine, should be here by the promised 8-29 date. Except it wasn't and still hasn't arrived 6 days after it was promised. trackinng says it might arrive tomorrow, but I don't believe anything at this point. Will NEVER purchase from them again. Save yourself the headache."
