"i am disgusted with the customer service of this awful company. i ordered a dress for my birthday masquerade ball, i wasnt given much notice of the event so i have 3weeks to find a dress, fit in it and like it, so i found one on this site. NO WHERE on the site did it say that there was a back delay due to 'spring festival' EVEN after adding to cart and finalizing purchase there was still just the option of 'standard delivery' which in the smaller print was suggested 14days. after TAKING my money from my bank account, they then email me to say " due to spring delivery you will receive your order around the 15th march is that okay? if not why not keep it for your next event and we will give you 10% off ".....what do you mean IS THAT OKAY? course it isnt as when i ordered it i typed in the date of my function, its 4 weeks before that date! i have now sent 5 EMAILS requesting a FULL AND IMMEDIATE refund of my £186.15 and been ignored on EVERY occasion, ive rang the UK office multiple times and it is an answerphone only service, my 8 voice mails have been IGNORED. i am a single mother with little money as it is, this dress was my birthday present and i now fear that its lost in translation. avoid this site at all costs, unless of course you like to throw money away. DISGUSTING"

"Fabulous site! The dress arrived a week earlier than expected and fitted perfectly. Everyone commented on how good it looked and I felt like Julia Roberts!The colour I wanted was out of stock and I received a very swift email asking me to choose another colour or select a refund and the new colour turned out even better than the original! The staff were very polite and helpful"

"I am not at all impressed. I tried to return a dress I bought (standard size) but they are constantly fobbing me off with emails without giving me a return address to send it to. I said I would be happy with an exchange, they are ignoring me, instead sending me the same email reply again and again. I am within my legal rights but getting nowhere. Be aware, this site is quick to sell you but when it comes to customer service, you will find it's not as professional, or even UK-based as led to believe with UK telephone number.As per your response this week, it just proves the point. It took me weeks to sort out the exchange to my satisfaction, finally 3 days before dress was needed. Why couldn't you handle the customer services side from the UK?"

"I ordered 2 of the same dresses, after waiting nearly 3 weeks, with a 6to find that one of the dresses is the wrong colour! how can a company make such a mistake when ordered I chose the same colours and even later several times in emails mentioned I have ordered 2 dresses exactly the same just different sizes and still they send the wrong one. Not only that, but customer sevice is appaling emails are generic and what ever this haux company is they can't speak or spell english properly should have guessed straight way its rubbish, you put a telelphone number but no one ever picks up even when I have rung during the stupid calling times of 1:00am - 9:30 and what sort of a live chat is it when it's always offline.The wedding is friday what am I supposed to do already waited 3 weeks for these unless ou can send me the right one by friday morning I want to make a complaint and my money back for both dresses and I'm not paying for any extra costs that includes posting it back.You also have the same generic reply to everyone on this website. So unless you can fix it or anything good to say I uggest you don't and just send my money back or I will claim it eiter way."

"I ordered a wedding dress from this company and it arrived slightly late but the condition and quality of the dress was very very poor. The zipper did not work, the stitching was imperfect and unfinished and the fit was not very good either.When raising the issue via email the company suggested to go to a tailor and have it fixed. Ridiculous in my eyes. As the wedding was the next day this was not possible.The company then states by an anonymous email sender (you never see a name who is writing to you) that if I send it back and they think it is not their fault you get 50% and if they agree that it is their fault then you receive 90% back. I pointed out that this violates UK law and therefore does not apply. Anyway I sent the dress back to China for almost 22 GBP only to be offered 90% refund which I do not accept as this means I spent 30 GBP on nothing and not to any fault of my own.I tried to phone the office in London but no matter how often I try nobody ever picks up the phone. The same happens with their office in the USA. To me the whole company is entirely being operated from China and does not comply with return policies of the countries they are selling in. I am so upset about their behavior that I asked my solicitor to look into their dealings and the whole company is not trustworthy at all. I reported them to my bank and credit card company and will pass on any findings from my solicitor to UK customs in suspicion of fraud. Last but not least the dress for 89 GBP is valued 10$ for the company.Avoid this company at all costs! I am still waiting for my refund!UPDATE 17/11/12Months later and I was promised a full refund which then got forgotten, sent to the wrong account etc. More than 3 months later and still no money was refunded. Not 50%, not 90%, nothing! "
"Rule #, I should always listen to my gut feelings and trust my instincts (which I did not do in this case).I read several reviews about dressespro, some good, some bad.Now here's my story! I ordered two dresses for my brother's wedding, a short cocktail dress for the rehearsal dinner and an evening gown. Both were custom made. I am very tall (6'2) and it is very hard for me to find dresses that are long enough or fit in proportion. If a dress has a real waistline, usually it is on my ribcage - I am simply tall.I gave them exact measurements, more than one usually would (e.g. distance collarbones to top of my "boobs"/distance to the bottom; measured from the side armpit to waist).The dresses arrived on time about two weeks prior to the wedding which would be enough time to do minimal alterations. I tried on the short dress first and it fit like a glove. I was happy. Then I put on the evening gown and my bubble burst.The evening dress (a one-shouldered, sweetheart neckline, then empire like) appears to be way easier in construction than the fitted short dress, however it is completely messed up.But first things first... I put on the dress and it's long enough - wow, they got one thing right.I then walked to the mirror. First thing I noticed (the dress shows a lot of my back) that the part of the one-shoulder strap sticks out, there is an excess of fabric of 2.5 inches and won't lay smooth on my shoulder blade as it should. You could also call it a big bump. The dress is low cut. But the execution is so poorly that inside flips out and shows my butt crack. So that's what I noticed first. I took pictures of my back with my phone, which was hard to do but at least it displayed the problem at the shoulder and bottom.Let's remember, the other dress fits perfectly. Two orders that arrived at the same time - one fits, the other one is a disaster. So I wrote a complaint and the answer is so ridiculous, I almost have to laugh about it:"Hello,Glad to receive your e-mail,Thanks for your picture to show the problems and sorry to hear that you do not satisfied with the dress,We make the dress in the exact size you give us, and before we send the dress to you, our quality department have recheck the dress for several times, if the size is wrong, we couldn't send it to you,But the dress is still not fit you well, we also feel very strange with this, so sorry for this, till now we do not know whether it is our fault or not ,but we are willing to fix the problem for you . how about to find a local tailor to fix the problems? , it is easy for them, then after alteration, the dress will fit you better. we will also give you 10% discount for the compensate,How do you think about this?Wait for your reply,Best wishes."So somebody please answer this for me... My measurements were exact, which the short dress shows. So obviously, it isn't my fault. They say, they don't know if it was their fault or not. Then whose fault is it? The Holy Ghost's? Santa's? I mean ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!And BTW, 10 % discount would be round about 13 Euros (that's about 16,50 $). So maybe in China it is possible to get stuff altered for 16 $. In Germany I can barely get my pants hemmed for 13. This is ridiculous.So at first I never realized that there is an issue with the dress at the front, something that can't exactly be altered easiely or if at all. So my neighbor was kind enough to take pictures of me and after they replied to me for the first time I already announced I would send more pictures.So while I was upset about the back I never looked closely at the front. So yesterday I had also to realize that the cussion on the side of the shoulder strap is higher than the other and it looks like my boob on the side of the strap is higher than the other one. it isn't a real sweetheart neckline and probably THAT problem wouldnt have occured if they wouldnt have placed ruching over that side and stuck to the real design where no extra fabric runs over the boob.Yesterday I sent them an e-mail with all these pictures and I told them that this is NOT a question about size or measurements. This is a question of poor execution and 10% won't get me anywhere. I want to return the dress (oh yeah, the website says you can't).Now I wonder how they can argue that it is a size or measurement problem from my side, IF as you can see, the other dress fits perfectly. I still haven't heard back from them.My brother is getting married next week. What am I gonna wear? NO clue. I am a student, i don't have money flying around.I want my money back. But that probably isn't going to happen.So this company is hit and miss. As you can see with my order. One good, one horrible.I would not recommend this company to anyone. "
"I definately wouldnt recommend this company to anybody they are quick enough to take the money but not good enough to make the dress. They rang us up telling us that they cant make the dress that is on THEIR website as it is too difficult. They have our money for 2 months and still not let us know that they cant make it as i could of found another prom dress but because of their idiotic ways i will not be going to prom so whatever you do dont trust this website. i am very discusted and disappointed with the service NONONE BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!"
"I defiantly would not recommend dresses-pro to anyone, it's absolutely outrages. I cannot believe the poor communication, the online help doesn't work at all and the phone line is always on voicemail and when you email them they take a day to reply back. I certainly think they do this on purpose to try prevent costumers claiming back what is rightfully there's. I bought a dress and it was delivered to me very well damaged, by looking at it you'd think it's been worn alot. There was so many loose threads, sequences falling off and a big stain in the middle of the dress. I mean i paid an £154 which is enormous amount money for dress that worths not even 30. On the website return policy it perfectly says that if they sent a faulty item then you are eligible for full refund however that is all nonsense as they offer you 20% back which is nothing, just going to dry cleaners you have to pay more than £30. The quality of the dress is rubbish. Once they get there money you wont be able to get a penny back even with damaged item. I'm very angry and disappointed that such site exist."
