"In case the 600 other reviews somehow haven't convinced you, this place is a scam, plain and simple. They're being investigated by multiple law enforcement agencies at the local, state, and federal level. Just don't do it."

"I was looking for a new digital camera and had decided on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3. Checking the net for best price and found Broadway Photo. Checked ratings prior to ordering and decided to give it a try despite some of the bad ratings, knowing that some people just cannot be satisfied. Received excellent service, no high pressure sales, item shipped and arrived when they said it would. Excellent communication via email to keep me informed of the status. They sent a tracking number via email and I was able to know the exact day that it would arrive."

" Sometime in mid-July this year, I had ordered a power cable to connect my Garnim Nuvi 760 from the body of the unit to my vehicle so that the
GPS would use the car's electrical source instead of GPS's battery. A&M Photo sent me the wrong item. The cable and some other accessories sent were meant to be used for other devices. I had also paid for overnight delivery service as I had a business trip and wanted use the GPS that coming weekend.
The UPS overnight delivery fees charged to me were 2 times the amount normally charged by UPS. So Broadway photo made 100% profit on this fee. I called Broadway Photo explained the error made and also discussed the mailing fees, which I thought was exhorbitant. After some back and forth discussions, the representative informed me that they would credit me for the overnight fees and send me the correct cable connection which was more expensive then the original sent to me and that they would not charge me for the difference. I was of course very happy with this outcome.
Today, I received the "correct" cable and was dismayed to see that it although it was different from the first order it still was not the correct one!!!!!!!! I AM STILL OUT OF HAVING A REPLACEMENT CABLE FOR MY GARMIN NUVI GPS!! Amazing!
I will try this one more time. What I need is a cable that is 5' 5" long; with one end as a small UBS connection and the other end has a 12 volt 4 3/4" long attachment which is inserted into a power source similar to a cigarette lighter. A paper tag attached to the cable has "Garmin GTM 20" written on it and a bar code with #s and letters: 11A955451 below it. And below "REPLACEMENT FUSE F 3A H 250V. On the reverse side E11 / 10R-023487.
Now, I would like to know what I need to do to return this.
Although A&M Photo World cannot complete this purchase for me, they have promised to refund all fees charged for this transaction. Which it is only fair, since both products sent to me were the wrong ones. I do appreciate their efforts to accomodate me financially, but still don't understand their inability to send me the correct item as originally requested.
Sincerely Yours,
Christopher M. Soares

"I wish we had read the reviews before ordering. My husband tried to call this morning to "confirm" our order and had to leave a message. He called back a second time and they are trying to convince him to order products that are supposed to be included and telling him other things that led him to believe it is a scan. He said he wanted to cancel the order and they placed him on hold. It's now been almost 10 minutes. When that call is ended we are calling our bank to make sure that the charge does not get processed."

"Thank heavens I read your reviews. I almost ordered a camcorder from these people. You saved my a**. They have really good window dressing but they are scam artists. I'm going to NewEgg. They have a great reputation. Cheers."

"THESE GUYS ARE THE WORST - I have purchased everything on the web and this is the worst company I have ever delt with. I wish I had found this site first but I didn't. I placed an order for 3 cameras, 2 flashes and some small accessories. I got the call for a "confirmation" of my order and after three calls, with no call backs from them, I finally got through with a long hold and two hang-ups.

The salesperson confirmed my ordered, try to sell me all of these accessories (many came with the cameras) and when I refused, told me that these were international editions and that if I just took the time to look at the web site, I would see this. I checked the web site and no mention of international edition. He also told me that all of the menus would be in other languages with no English Menu ( a lie ).

I just cancelled the order, wrote a confirming email cancelling the order. Rude, deceptive, bait and switch, etc, etc. The WORST company ever. I've gone back to B & H, paid a little more but got what I wanted professionally. Stay Away from Broadway and affiliated companies

"I ordered a pioneer avic d3 from broadway photo yesterday. I wish I would have read all of the bad reviews before doing so. Luckily, my credit card was not charged with anything as of yet and I called them this morning to cancel my order. Despite what others have said, the rep I spoke with was actually nice and said they will cancel my order no problem. I have to admit he was quick to get me off the phone but claimed to have cancelled my order (I hope) nonetheless. I also notified my credit card company to inform me if any charges under their name come up on my account. I will definitely put more research into who I purchase from from now on."

"Well... I was going to order a Canon 40d camera in Amazon but I missed the last available. Then I found amphotoworld. I was really surprised that the price is $150 (10%) less than Amazon one! Anyway decided to order. After I placed the order I found this site and read the comments and got really worried. I got the same e-mail as everybody saying that I need to call for some details. I phoned straight away and was already expected that they gonna say "we cannot cancel the order". But, I was lucky enough, they said that the camera is out of stock and then they canceled my order with no problem.
So I cannot rate is as bad as other people but at least I did not experience any problems

"I was sold the US version of the digital rebal Xti they told me the price on the web site (524.99 was for the "internation version" and the US version was 699.99 and they would include the battery and graphite body. I had it shipped 3 day, and recieved it next day,, sounds good so far,, but here's the thing, I open the box, and I have a cammera called a "KISS digital X" STRAIGHT FROM JAPAN.
I have since contacted canon, and they have explained there is no such thing of a graphite option for any version of the xti
yup paid for the US, and got Japanease.

I have contacted them for return, and got the run around that I got the item I ordered. when they looked up my invoice, and told me I ordered the japanease version, I axplained I didn't write on the invoice, that there salesman must have made the mistake,, of course the price tells the story that I paid for the USA.. so she changes story. "well, we can make a return, but we will have to charge a 5% restocking fee.. " I replied that the Item I baught was not delivered, there will be no restocking fee.... she then changed story to I can do the return without restocking but we will not refund shipping.. again, I repeat that the error is all on your company and that I will not be responsable for them in whole or even part....

she then starts to get pumped up you can tell in her voice she was building up for the yellathon, she yells at me and tells me that I'm trying to scam her company out of the camera.

(and mind you, I had allready read these forums and was ready for this, and I had kept my calm through the ordeal and spoke calmly with no agression.) I then said "I'm sorry if you think that, but I will be contacting my credit card company, and I will be going through them for now on,, thank you and have a nice day. and she calmly said "you to"
and I could hear the smile she had on her face.

these are 100% scammers, they do not care, the way they can continue business is beyond me, but after ripping so many people off, they feel comfortable enough to smile while they do it.. some one needs to start a class action suite.

I for one am ready willing and able.

"CROOKED!!!! Gave misinformation about products, prices, compatibilities. Refused to cancel order once submitted, threatened to charge a restocking fee for items not shipped, then tried to "make a deal." It boggles my mind how people who are so consistently and obnoxiously criminal can be allowed to continue doing business. "

"they pulled a "bait and switch" advertising $315 then charging $395 by lying about the battery, scharge for "upgrades" they don't send, and charging $23 shipping and 5% restocking which is not disuputable with the credit card company."

" OMG, I had so much fun with this sales guy at Broadway Photo ... 1) i knew i was going to get an email from them to confirm my info. 2) i read all of the previous reviews from bizrate and on here and was prepared. 3) i had no intension on buying the camera from them because i knew it wasn't what they advertised.
Funnest part>>>Japanese model he said. i said they are all made in Japan, he said no the language is in Japanese, i said oh o it is a Japanese model with a jap warranty? he said no with a U.S. warranty "this went on for about 2 more minutes..lol you get the point of what i was doing. I did this on every single thing he tried to sell me, and by the end he was so freakin mad you could hear it in his voice, even worse i waited until 8:51 P.M.to call them ,LOL i knew he wanted to go home at 9!!!!!!!!!
It is amazing that i bought this same camera with all the goods at Circuit City for 369 last week and this guy was trying to sell me the same thing for 633 . The price on there site said 279. what a serious markup. I feel so sorry for the people they rip off every day...GRRRRRR!!
I think everyone should call them up and act like your going to buy something from them taking up at least 30 minutes of there time, then cancel the order, lol!!!! I recorded my conversation with them it is a shame that i cant upload audio for you all to listen too.
I wouldn't buy a penny from them for .00002 cents and i hope that you wouldn't either. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAM ARTIST!!!oh not artist thats to much for me to bear.TRY "SCAM IDIOTS"
