"I've given Zulily 3 tries. Some items are a great deal, but none are good enough to deal with their unreliable service. Order #1: Received a purse in time frame expected (3 weeks) but it was drastically different than the image. It looked like a knock off of the brand I'd ordered and was definitely not the same as the item in the picture.Order #2: Only order I was satisfied with. Scarves and jewelry, all received in about 3 weeks and all as expected.Order #3: Ordered two pairs of boots. First pair arrived in 3 1/2 weeks, at which point I contacted them to inquire about second half of the order. Only then did I learn my item couldn't be located and they couldn't fill the second half of the order. I had to call them to find this out, they didn't bother to e-mail me.I'll shop local or elsewhere online. This company is more trouble than it's worth, even to save a few $$. They've lost a customer and a customer advocate. I've recommended them to several friends and family. Hopefully they've received better service than I have."
"I have recently realized Zulily jacks up the original price of products to make it look like you are getting a better deal. Just realized this as I purchased a set of blocks which were made to look like I was getting them for 50% off. In reality, they were 50 cents cheaper than at Target, and I could have gotten free shipping from Target! I just saw a cuisinart toaster on Zulily today which was made to look like a fantastic deal (50% off) in reality, it is priced $10 cheaper than retail, but with shipping costs it comes out to the same retail costs. Anyone else notice this? On another note, I did score a great deal on some Stride Rite shoes which I know are high-priced in the retail stores. "
"Terrible experience with Zulily! I wish I had read some of these reviews before I placed my order. I received an email confirming my order, but did not get any other information as to when to expect my items. Two weeks later I had placed orders on several other sites and had everything shipped to me within 5 days with tracking numbers but still no word from Zulily. I called to cancel my order and was informed it was too late, my items had been shipped. I hadn't gotten any emails about it but let it go. The next day I received an email with a tracking number, but it was for only a few of the items I had ordered. The others had not shipped. I should have been able to cancel the items that had not processed and shipped. Never again!"
"I have ordered cute little playsuits for my twin granddaughters and they fit nicely. I ordered jewelry at reasonable prices. I love genuine leather purses that are classy and timeless with out a name on it or lot of accessories, so I ordered a Latico, a Baggs and an Iris Tyler bag. These are expensive bags but I got them at reasonable prices. I ordered wool sweaters and office dresses. I researched the brand names of the items and read comments of customers who have already purchased the item to see what they think about. They cancelled one of my sweaters but they put the money back for it and gave me a store credit. I like that I can favorite an item and will be notified via email when the item will be available, like the Tru Luxe jeans They respond timely to emails I send them. TIP: put the item you like in your shopping bag in checkout but don't "place order" until the day the event closes. That will cut some of the time you have to wait for an item because nothing starts until the even closes. I am happy with them so far."
"VERY DISAPPOINTED in this company. I know they are a distributor, but the customer service is horrible. I placed an order for a halloween shirt at the very end of September. I still didn't receive it by halloween and then discovered they had shipped it to my old address!! They said they would send a refund when they receive the shirt back, but I haven't got anything yet. I plan to file a complaint with my credit card if the refund doesn't come through in the next couple weeks. My friend, who recommended this site, also purchased maternity pants using the size guidelines for the item and they were crazy small on her. She gave them to me and they were small on me!! They were a large...I normally wear a medium. She unfortunately lost the money and I donated them to goodwill. Total waste. If the website has sizing guidelines, why are they 2-3 sizes off?!! The products are cheaper quality, but I expected that. Will not order again and neither will my friend. Just find on the host website and you'll normally get the same item for cheaper and free shipping!"
"Don't order from Zulily, they are a bunch of Crooks. If you decide you want to cancel your order, and the credit card has not been charged with the order as of yet, don't call Zulily, instead, report your card lost or stolen to your bank first, then see if you can cancel your order.. If you phone Zulily, they will put you on hold and charge your credit card in that instant. Not worth the time and effort to deal with this company,"
"This company couldn't be any worse. I've had zero luck with them. I placed 5 different orders over the past 4 months and 50% of the time I don't receive my items! why? Because THEY cancel the order and say the items aren't available! How can a company do that?! Like oh just kidding, that really wasn't for sale. The other 50% of my orders were such cheap quality...but they don't take returns. A pair of boots were more than a full size smaller than they said, clearly mis-marked, and a vest had too much fabric in the hood and it didn't lay right. The 5th order I placed, I just saw that half is on it's way, after 5 weeks, but the other half isn't. I bought all of it to go together...and by only receiving half, it's pointless. This is high risk shopping! Know that you're gambling big time with purchasing from zulily. I agree with what another reviewer said, which is if you like something, google it and find it on another site where you can read reviews and have the ability to return it...and you'll actually RECEIVE the item you purchased, and within a normal amount of shipping time. This is a terrible company to order from. I advise against it."

"Terrible service. After ordering 5 items, 2 of which were incomplete and one was missing, and after waiting for the completion of the order which never arrived for another two weeks, I returned the package to the company after getting in touch and explaining what the problem was. They said they never received my package with the returns and refused to refund my money.I had to contact Royal Mail and they have told me that is very unusual and unlikely that would happen. They have covered some of the cost although I do firmly believe, just like Royal Mail that Zulily have just taken advantage of the situation.Just do not use them. They are terrible."
"I've ordered quite a bit from Zulily since my first child was born about two years ago (in the thousands). I just had my second child, and due to my last experience I will not be shopping there any longer. I suppose it's fair to ask....if you've ordered so much, why leave such a bad rating..at some point you were content, no? I've had ups and downs in my experience with Zulily. And thus far the negatives were outweighed by the positives. However, I think this last experience just made me feel not at all valued as a repeat customer. If you shop once with this retailer, you either accept the shipping BS or you do not. I buy several sizes in advance for my kids, so I was OK with it. I have had items sent months later, after the size was outgrown. This is not common. What bothers me is that they will wait three weeks only to tell you that something you ordered is not available. WTH? They will give you a store credit, but sometimes this is not adequate. For instance, months ago I ordered pants and a sweater for my son. The sweater was canceled, and I was stuck with pants that match basically nothing else. Same thing occurred with a little pants suit...jacket and vest arrived...pants were canceled. Because there are no returns...I'm screwed.This last experience...I waited over a month to receive my order, only to find they sent 12M size and not 24M. When I contacted Zulily, they made little effort to correct the problem. They sent a return label...but I now have to go to USPS to have it shipped. WTH?...the whole reason I shop online is because I'm too busy running a corporation to shop brick and mortar. Furthermore, they made no reference to a refund and then credited my account $10. Sounds ideal. Except AGAIN the two canceled pants are each part of an outfit that now I'm stuck with the tops. Sorry....but maybe some people are OK with it, but I am NOT. If I buy an outfit, I want the outfit...not half.Zulily is really just a waste of time and money. They have the worst business model for the customer that I've ever seen. I look at the positive reviews here and quite frankly, I doubt most of them are real. I suspect they are fake reviews from Zulily employees. Use a search engine and you will find similar merchants without all the headaches!!Buyer Beware! "

I ordered my daughter a new bed months ago, and have experienced shipping delays, received the wrong item, and have gone round and round with their customer service. At this point we are stuck with half of a bed in white wood and the other half in expresso, a lot of talk on their end and no resolution week after week."
"I ordered a dress, size 8, which had a fitted waist line. When I received it, I couldn't even get it over my head/shoulders, much less on. It has no zipper, which is a ridiculous design for this dress. It certainly is not true to size. My daughter, who is a 0-2, could barely get it on.When I contacted them to complain, I was told that I would receive a store credit but not a refund. They indicate that they are a "final sales" website. I pointed out to them that this was an error/flaw in the dress and advertised size, not simply because I didn't like it. They refused to budge. A store credit does me no good since I will never shop with them again!"
"I ordered several outfits from Zulily for my 6 month old daughter. The outfits looked to be of designer quality, but when I got them, they were the poorest quality clothes I have ever seen. Even walmart clothes are better quality and cheaper. 1 of the outfits is still too big and it should have fit her 3 months ago. The other two fell apart the first time she wore them. The painted dots also came off on her skin. Very disappointing."
"I am actually incredulous regarding the poor ratings for Zulily! The website does exactly what they say they will do, they act as an intermediary to offer stellar deals during "flash sales". They then receive a bulk shipment from the manufacturer, package everyones orders up nicely and ship it on to their customers - all of which takes time. Zulily does NOT actually manufacture these items, so the reviews that accuse Zulily of poor quality are just plain silly. It is your responsibility to research the products via the Internet to check the quality and sizing, then if you are satisfied - place an order! Zulily is incredibly honest about their practices (slow shipping included), incredibly simple to use and has rad customer service. I don't order questionable brands, and I have been 100% pleased with my 20+ orders (including clothes, furniture & shoes), all shipped and received within 2 weeks, not to mention the $100's I have saved. Use common sense people!"
"This is worst site ever to shop. I subscribed it sometime back to it first of all the material is so cheap and more then that you can't even return it. The size I bought was always not fitting for me I hate this site and never ever recommend it to anyone. It is better to shop from macys or khols for tht matter atleast you can return your stuff there and the quality is much much better that this fraud site. If you want to waste your money go to this site and buy I will suggest better give it in charity because the prices are also very high and it s***ks. I think walmart quality will be much much better then this site. I regret shopping from this site all my stuff what I have bought is of no use and I have kept it wondering what to do with it. They charge you shipping and the product comes like 1 month later LOL if you are giving shipping to them still they ship it so late why not give it to better store and shop from there."
