Come on guys! Honor your promo codes!

"ME TO ZORO via EMAIL: "I placed 2 orders yesterday. The 1st for over $300. The 2nd for $128.20. I was able to save 20% on the 1st order using a promo code. For the 2nd order I was able to find a new promo code but could not get it to take at checkout. The order # is 345-SO3832177. Promo code TWTY0NDP3T for a 20% discount. I did go ahead and place the order. Can you please look into crediting our account? Thanks so much for looking into this and have a great day".
ZORO TO ME: "The code in question, TWTY0NDP3T, is a unique, one-time-use code. Unfortunately it appears that this code was used previously. Was this code emailed to you yesterday? Only one code is issued per customer so we would not be able to apply a promotional code for more than one order".
ME back TO ZORO: "No. Two totally different codes. The code I used for the 1st order I placed yesterday was TWTY28E7NR and saved our company $61. I then realized I had forgotten to order the lens wipes and placed the 2nd order. The code would not work for the 2nd order so I went in online and found an additional promo code ( TWTY0NDP3T). Either way, I had these items in my cart for several days waiting on the upcoming Wednesday discount. Can you please honor the discount on the 2nd order since it was ordered the same day (with a different promo code)".
ZORO back TO ME: "We would not be able to honor a promotional code you found online. Our codes are unique one-time use codes that are emailed directly to our customers. This is why the promotional code did not work for your second order, it was a promotional code that was issued to another customer".
FINAL COMMENT FROM ME to ZORO: "I sure don’t understand why you would not want to honor this. It was all purchased ON THE SAME DAY. And we have been a loyal customer. Have a blessed day".

"Great product selection, competitive pricing, and customer service if you need it! Zoro has become my new go-to place to buy commercial/industrial tools and equipment. Their website is well organized and easy to use. The only features lacking are customer product reviews (as available from other vendors) and a "compare products" function. Again, find that elsewhere; however you may wish to actually *buy* from Zoro, factoring in their low prices, free shipping over $50, and frequent discount promotions--be sure to sign up for their email offers!

Shipping is typically fast too, and email communications on the status of orders, invoicing, etc. are thorough and prompt. I had a problem with one inexpensive Dayton tool that seemed to wear prematurely. After filling out Zoro's website "contact us" form to describe this, attaching a picture of the tool wear, I got an email reply back the next day with an offer of either a refund (ship tool back) or accept a free replacement, judging the original as defective. I chose the latter, and it arrived on my doorstep via FedEx in only 2 days. Amazing! That's customer service, for sure.

Even if you don't need tools, note that Zoro offers very attractive pricing on items like batteries, fire extinguishers, cleaning equipment, and so on. I'm a Zoro fan for sure!

"Would be no stars if we could. Ordered a product on 12/3/15 which showed A 3 to 7 business day lead time. After on week I followed up and was to,d it would ship soon. On December 23, I called to find out where out products were and was told they were back ordered. At no point t was this information given to us or we would have found another source. My install is next week and lead times are through the roof. Will not risk a future job on this company regardless and for the record the product is still showing a 5 day lead time on their website."

"I have had nothing but good experiences with Zoro. They are the consumer online storefront for Grainger. Their prices are pretty decent to begin with, but they have flash sales once or twice a month with up to 30% off, so if you can sit on your order for a bit til the coupon code gets emailed to you then their pricing becomes the best around by a mile. Free shipping is great too"

"SO I never really write a review unless something just really amazes me or is very disappointing. I used ZORO.COM for the first time last night to order a part for my leaky toilet that my local homedepot and lowes were out of. You know that seal that goes bad every six months. So I checked online for the part and happened on the zorro site. I tried Amazon first since I have prime but for the price of 2 of the seals I could get 6 from zoro. Of course I was like ugh how long to get the part since I had never ordered from them. Well the part came less than 24 hours later and my toilet is fixed. Simple part and simple job but happy with the service from zoro.com. Packaged well and lightning fast delivery - thanks!"

"second time around and zero.com screws us over again. the company wanted to use their too good to be true coupon of 30% off for 24hrs, we prepare to put the order but at 11:45pm the coupon mysteriously disappeared. the web interface is crap as well, worst website ever. will not be back for thirds, thanks....

update, when we emailed their customer service they said they are sorry....never offered us the option of buying the stuff at that rate....

"This was my first order and concerns a 2" x 2" x 10 foot long Square Fiberglass Tube by Dynaform and the problems I had with Zoro and their shipping procedures. To begin with, there was no tracking information on Zoro's site (and none to this day) so I contacted them thru email. I was then given the UPS Freight tracking number. That's when I saw the item ordered was damaged BEFORE it was accepted by UPS Freight and noted on their tracking info. I REFUSED it at time of delivery because of severe damage. There was no protection at all for this 10 foot long fiberglass tube. No tape, wrapping, covering of the ends (badly damaged), or anything. It was left bare except for a label and packing slip. After seeing the "Damage noted at receipt from shipper" on the UPS Freight tracking page I contacted Zoro's Customer Service department by email. My CS rep, Ryan, assured me this problem would be addressed by the CS staff. I then called Zoro when I did not hear back from Ryan and spoke to Mariah, another CS rep. She told me a replacement would be shipped and to refuse the damaged piece. I asked that the replacement be inspected and placed in suitable packing material of some sort, wrapped, taped or anything that would protect it. She assured me it would be. When the replacement was shipped it was again stated on UPS Freight tracking as "Damage noted at receipt from shipper". THE SAME THING AS THE FIRST SHIPMENT!!!! I called the CS department and spoke to Morgan, explained the situation, and was transferred to Brittany, a CS Lead. Brittany and I had several emails back and forth concerning why this damage was occurring. She contacted the warehouse and was told all the stock of this item was in good condition. Yet, it was damaged by the time UPS picked it up and shipped anyway. She also asked the warehouse what type of packaging or protection they had done. The answer was, and I quote: "Thank you for your patience as I worked with my distribution center on this. They have informed me that due to the way the work flows through warehouse on these larger items, we do not have a reliable way to identify a specific order and process it differently than anything else." Really??? This huge online retailer, a division of W.W. Grainger Industrial Supply, has no reliable way to effectively ensure that an order is properly processed?? Meaning packing, protecting, or making sure the customer gets an undamaged product. In fact, both times this product has been shipped it was damaged before receipt by UPS as noted. It would not matter how well Zoro packed this item for shipment, it would still arrive damaged. The replacement item was intercepted and is on it's way back to the warehouse. The last person I spoke to at Zoro was Michele, a Customer Service Supervisor. I wanted to see if there was a way Zoro and the warehouse people could do anything to provide me with an undamaged, protected for shipping item. She told me there was not at this time, but would keep me posted if something changed."

"Initially zoro was great when I ordered a swamp cooler and it arrived crushed. It took them a long time to send a replacement. That didn't happen until I called back and asked them about it. They said it was an error on their part. THE SECOND ONE ARRIVED DAMAGED AS WELL. I decided to order a larger one which was sturdier. They were supposed to issue a refund for the second order. I called again and they told me they received it. I waited two weeks called again. No notes. They didn't have any information on the return. Luckily I had the tracking number from last month. I was told yet again they would expedite my refund. I might suggest a better company with better tracking and refund policies."

"Was skeptical due to the very low price. Ordered a Warner D6232-3 ladder when they had a 30% off sale going on. Their normal price was $458 which was still very good considering free shipping, but ended up paying $320 with the sale discount. Shipping took a week and came FedEx freight. The ladder was a little scuffed from shipping, but no big deal. Also the shipping bill shows the ladder actually shipped from Grainger which sells the same ladder for $802. Needless to say I am very happy. Got the exact product I wanted and an incredible price."

"Ordered a Goulds Irrigation Pump. For a rated seller, it was the lowest price available online.

I found a coupon code for 25% off 300+ which sealed the deal.

Free shipping was super fast. I ordered Wednesday afternoon and UPS delivered Thursday morning.

My only ding to the rating for Customer Service was with a previous coupon code on 4.15. The code wouldn't work at checkout and by the time I got in contact with customer service the coupon expired and there wasn't a way to issue the discount.

One thing to know about coupons is that while they seem to be applied in the shopping cart, you have to have a zoro account in order to apply to the final checkout. Guest checkout won't honor the coupon.

"I was looking for a Hobart 140 MIG Welder online and a Zoro offer for $415 with an additional $15 coupon popped up off to the side of my search results. I decided to order from Zoro, even though there were many negative reviews. I struggled with the website and was not able to get the coupon to work when it came time to check out. It was there when I started to order and kept disappearing when I wanted to check out. I wasted over an hour. I gave up and ordered it anyway. It came the next day. The welder was a Hobart 125 not a 140. No wonder it seemed cheaper. I returned it and now I'm waiting for my refund in 5-10 days. I would avoid this agony and buy tools elsewhere. Really a frustrating waste of time and nothing to show for it. I will now get my welder elsewhere. This outfit has quick shipping, but they have the worst website ever and an evil bait and switch methodology. My order just showed a item # and never showed the model I was actually going to get. Avoid! Beware!"

"They shipped a stepladder with no protective packaging whatsoever. It's made of fiberglass, aluminum and plastic.
It was damaged of course being shipped freight. Had it returned. Have to follow up 30 days later since no refund was yet received. What, they hope you'll forget? Who has time to nanny their returns? never again. Too bad, they can have some great deals.
