I called to check on the order several days later and they only had it if I upgraded to a "package" of needless and expensive extras. When I requested to speak to a manager I was disconnected. When I called back and got the same knucklehead on the phone he claimed to have sent me an email explaining the situation (not true) and was weel practiced at canceling orders. STAY AWAY FROM ZOOMMANIA!"

I tried to purchase 3 TV's from them. They tried to bait and switch me from the bare TV to a "package deal" which I did NOT WANT! They refused to sell me the TV by itself and hung up on me twice! STAY AWAY from these sleaze balls.

After placing the order, because of a come on price, they e-mailed me several days after accepting my order to say there would be a 6 week delivery because the item was not in stock. They did accept the order with the understanding that it was in stock. I will never go to their sight to be lured into false, and unrealistic , offers."

I wanted a standalone camcorder, but the order wouldn't go through so i had to call. upon speaking with a rep, they insisted the stansalone camera wasn't in stock and that i had to buy the bundle, which added 150 dollars to the standalone price, bundling a cheap 10 case, a 10 dollar battery, and a 10 dollar lens kit for the aforementioned 150 dollar premium. i needed next day air and because the other retailers were closed (after 5pm on friday) i had no choice but to deal with them. they charged me 100 dollars flat for shipping with fedex, that fedex quoted as costing 35 dollars! To top it all of, the camera i received was mfgr'ed a year earlier, using the older possible revision and firmware.
This company stinks. Be wary of their prices. You'll get alot less than you think. "
"Unfortunately I didn't read these reviews until after I was fed up and waited 6 weeks to find out the TV was never "in stock" without the accessory bundle. Not only that - because the price was so good I missed out on other sales because those prices still looked high - in review I missed some very good deals.
I compalained to BBB but they don't do much. If you check their site - Zoommania has an "F" rating.
I also called Sony but that call went offshore and they didn't understand the issue. So I have this idea and I'm about to make the call. I'm going to complain to the credit card company, AmEx. Maybe if enough dissatisfied customers compalain about their illegal advertising they may pull their cards from the company. If that happens - maybe that will stop them."
