I bought the majority of my PC components from ZipZoomFly, which were shipped promptly. They have been working great so far, and I'm really happy with my order. ZipZoomFly offered some of the cheapest prices (Lower than NewEgg), with some great deals. Shipping was cheap too. I will be recommending this store to my friends.

I've ordered from ZFF many times before (more than 5 years) and never once had a problem or any kind of delay. Orders always shipped out the same day I placed the order. I recommend ZFF to all my friends and they also have absolutely no problems.
Their prices are very competitive with websites such as Newegg.com and in a lot of cases beat them. Newegg also has a facility in NJ which means they charge me a tax for any order, when you're buying a new computer that tax can be huge! Zipzoomfly has no facilities in NJ and does not charge me any tax so I will continue ordering from them as both websites have similar pricing.
Also I've read a few reviews from other people on this site about ZFF and their restocking fee. If you receive an item from ZFF that is DOA why not just RMA the product through the manufacturer of the item and avoid the restocking fee? ZFF is going to RMA it anyway, so cut out the middleman and just RMA directly with the manufacturer of the DOA item. A lot of manufacturers will also pay for the shipping both ways.
I think any company can slip up and make a mistake once in a while and I believe their low rating is due to the fact that if someone is pissed off of course they're going to leave a bad rating. While a customer who is satisfied is probably much less likely to leave a good rating because it seems like a hassle to them or they just don't care.
I will continue to purchase all my computer parts through ZFF!

I ordered on a Sunday, it was shipped on Monday.
Clear communication, tracking info both on Fedex but also on their website. Everything that I have ordered in the last six months was exactly as ordered and advertised. Arrived fast and in perfect condition.

Ok I've made a mistake. I was in the the market for a new laptop and found a great one for cheap at ZZF so I made my purchase online but I got indecisive about it so cancelled my order."No biggy" I thought, I figured that the transaction wouldn't show up on my account because it hasn't shipped yet, right?. I thought hard about the deal at such a great price and figured it was a good buy and I foolishly decided to reorder my purchase, BUT I promptly canceled it again because I found a WAY better deal at a local store. So I have two orders and two cancels and TWO CHARGES TO MY ACCOUNT. My real gripe is even BEFORE shipping out the products ,and even before I responded to their purchase confirmation e-mails, they sapped from my account twice! Once per purchase.
If you guys at ZZF are reading this just as a tip NEVER TAKE MONEY BEFORE PROCESSING/SHIPPING, AND RECEIVING CONFIRMATION FROM ORDERS. If taking money first and talk later your business policy I suggest you change it before you get out of business. Sorry to sound rude but Remember if you no longer have any customers y'all no longer have a job...

Shopping with Zipzoom was easy. Also I had to cancel one order as ordered twice by mistake and they processed very fast. Has some real cool deals to shop around. Even when I called the staff was polite and very helpful. Keep it up.

I recently found that a Cooler Master RC-690 case was going for about $15 cheaper on zipzoomfly.com than on newegg. It was a couple days later when I was checking the status of my order that I realized I had ordered an openbox product rather than a new product. Now it's in a "packed" status and I can't cancel the order even though it probably hasn't left their building. I suppose this is totally ignorance on my part, but paying $80 for something that might be scratched, dented, or missing a few fans is something I definitely did not have in mind. I emailed them today and am hoping for cancellation on the order, I would be more than happy to order a new case rather than a used one if that option was available.
EDIT: The order was cancelled, so I'd have to say that their customer service is solid at least from my standpoint. I've bought from these guys before and would do it again. This review was modified by its author, haarisc, on

I ordered a CoolerMaster RM 690 case from ZZF and it arrived with a cracked front cover. I contacted ZZF customer service and they sent me a RMA almost immediately. I fully expected to pay for the shipping back to them since that's what they tell you on the web-site. However, they gave me a coupon for free shipping with FedEx, all I had to do was bring it in to a FedEx shipping location. I got my replacement case a week after I sent back the original. It was a bit of an inconvenience but ZZF made replacing the case nearly painless. BTW, I saved $30 on this case buying it from ZZF rather than Newegg.

Sent me dead hardware. Both sticks of memory and the fan set, all bad. Insufficient packing for shipment. 2 week turnaround on refunds. Avoid at all costs.

Don't buy from zipzoomfly, I got jiffed by them. Here is my situation and their tactic to save their cost!!!!! I received a defective harddrive spending 85+7shipping. I spend 7 dollars to ship it back. After they tested for failure, they claimed they don't carry the item anymore. I exclaimed that the site still allows you to order the item. Then they change story about saying it's not in stock and insist that I get a refund. Told me that it take them months to do RMA w/ seagate! WTH! I filed for an exchange. I bought a new product and I am expect to get a new product not an rma-ed harddrive! I bought 2 so I can use it as a raid 0. I dont' want a refund because I have to end up buying the same model and still have to paid for shipping! After a long talk with them, they allow me to do an exchange for a new one. They said new stock comes in on Friday and they will ship it out. Called them next monday, they said the drive will be ship out that afternoon. Called again on Tuesday, they said drive is out of stock. ..... Still not shipped. Asked to talk to a manager, wait 10 min... no reply. Btw, their phone number is long distance for those you doesn't have a cell phone! Take my warning and stay away from these guys. Essentially I order on 4/16 | | |
