"I was looking for board shorts online when I found out that Zappos sell them! What? Not just shoes? Yes. I bought two identical pairs of Hurley board shorts but of different sizes. Because I ordered before 1PM Pacific I received them on my doorstep less than 24 hours later! I kept the one that fit better and I'll be returning the other with free shipping back. I've returned items to them before and they are a pleasure to deal with. I'd recommend Zappos.com to anyone looking for apparel items online."

"Zappos has to be one of the finest stores in existence (online or not). Low prices, below MSRP but take into account blazing fast, free OVERNIGHT shipping on many items, and the prices are unbelievable! I'm always happy to shop at Zappos, a company that genuinely seems to care about its employees and customers alike."

"Zappos is great to work with. Usually I can find marginally better prices somewhere else, but Zappos has a great shipping & return policy that can't be beat--and they back it up by actually following through.
I've always gotten my shipment within just a few days and have had no trouble with returns if I've had to make them. This is a really good internet retailer to buy from."

"I bought some Nike sneakers from Zappos last February. I got nice designs there which I could not find in nearby stores. Delivery was prompt. Good job!"

"This online vendor is unbelievable, but in a great way! I ordered a pair of their designer color Sorel Women's Caribou boots on December 27th, and very late at night. Not only was Zappos over $10 less expensive than anywhere I could find the boots, they had free UPS ground shipping as well.

I was notified very quickly with an order confirmation on the 27th also, and within several hours, I was sent an email stating that they had upgraded the free shipping to 2nd-day at no charge .... OMG, freaking awesome ... I received a tracking email today, and the UPS site showed the delivery date was actually set for the 29th, so I wasn't expecting the boots for at least another day.

Well, UPS just dropped them off, on the 28th, the day after I ordered them!!! The boots look great, and I'm sure Mom will enjoy them like she has with her original Caribou boots for the last 8 years. This is the way you wish all online vendors treated their customers, and it's no wonder why Zappos should score a perfect 10!

"I purchased a pair of shoes during a 'free shipping' special. The order got upgraded to next-day shipping for free, and I received the shoe on the following afternoon.

The manufacturer's size turned out to be larger than what I wanted, so I returned the shoes. This involved printing out a UPS return label, slapping it on the original box and dropping it off at the nearest UPS pickup. Entirely hassle free, no additional expense incurred.

The return was processed without hassle, and I have since reordered a smaller size shoe from Zappos.

Overall, I am thoroughly impressed. Certainly one of the best online retailers I've had the pleasure of dealing with."

"evidently, zappos is currently having some major issues shipping and tracking orders. my in-stock order, with extra paid 3-day delivery is now on it's eleventh day and they still can't even give me a tracking number. to their credit, they given back the shipping charges, upgraded me to "vip" (one day
shipping at no charge) and two $25 discount coupons on future orders. what future orders?? why would I ever?? they blame it on a mysterious "system update" that has affected over 100,000 orders. "

"I usually do not write a good review for a merchant but only share my bad shopping experience with the others. This is going to be my big time exception coz Zappos is one big exceptional store and they deserve my 5-star rating.

Zappos mainly sell shoes online. However, they do also sell some other sporty stuffs. My order was a Garmin Nuvi GPS navigator system. Before I'd never heard of Zappos. I ordered from them because they have 110% pricematch policy. Their price is $200 more than the merchant I wanted to buy from. In order to save an exta 10% difference, I gave it a try with Zappos.

I placed my order in the morning at 4 a.m. (yes, I am a night owl) on 09/02, the Sunday during the Labor Day weekend. Next day I picked up the phone and called them, telling them I'd like to pricematch the GPS since somewhere else sold the same item for $200 less. Unlike the jerks from Circuit City, Best Buy, and Staples, the Zappos CSR did not give me any run-around, or any unacceptable and unreasonable excuses to deny my pricematch request. He approved it with no sweat once verifying the source of my pricematch. This is one great pricematching experience, especially when the difference is $200+. Yahoo~

Later in the afternoon, I received another email from Zappos, asking me to call them back since they were unable to reach me by phone and my order was currently on hold. I was like, what the hell?! Has their corporate office changed the mind and not honor my pricematch? I called them up again. The CSR pulled up my order and explained to me since my shipping address was different from the billing address, they would like to speak to me again to verify I was the person who placed the order. He transferred me to their billing department. After another lady verified some informaton with me, then she told me my order would be processed on the same day. They would ship the order by overnight air for free of charge. Since that day was holiday (Labor Day), I would be receiving my order on Wednesday. Zappos shipped my order on the same day on the Labor Day Monday as promised. I expected the order would not arrive until Wednesday as I was advised. Surprisingly, the order arrived today on Tuesday in the afternoon at my doorsteps! I carefully checked my order and I can confim that it is new with the latest map.

I am very satisfied with this shopping experience at Zappos, not only for the lowest price guarantee, but also does the exceptional service they provide, polite and friendly CSRs, lightning order processing, nice protection for shoppers with verification of identity when shipping info is different from billing, free overnight shipping which must cost them alot. They even offer free returned shipping. Two thumbs up with 5 stars! Good job Zappos!"

"Sept 29th - Made an order
Sept 30th - canceled order since the site upgrades may hold up the packages for too long, decide to order later down the road.
October 3rd - Reordered since a CS member told me the ugprades are almost done. Found out that Zappos is finally shipping out the packages but at a very slow rate.

October 4th:
So Zappos FINALLY shipped my last order at 12 midnight and it's on delivery today. I was shocked considering UPS does not deliver that late, but I guess since Zappos is so behind with thousands of orders they had to get them all out of the warehouse in KY asap. I'm currently waiting for my order to be delivered to me. I'm relieved that Zappos managed to ship out the package despite the so-called "WMS Project" being the cause of all the delays. However, even though I'm relieved that Zapops finally got their packages back up and running, I will NOT shop with them anymore unless I absolutely have to. I rather just suck up the 3-5 day shipping of other retailers because then I will know that my order is on its way to me and not holed up in some warehouse. I'm officially done with Zappos. It's a shame really because their CS is awesome! Too bad. Goodbye Zappos."

"Zappos carries a large selection of shoes in a huge range of sizes, including very hard to find wide widths (4E/6E). For more than two years, Zappos was my first choice for all of my shoe purchases because of the wide-ranging selection and 110% price match guarantee and free overnight shipping which made up for the fact their prices were always higher than most of their competition.

Unfortunately, in February 2008 the company discontinued their price match guarantee and free overnight shipping, making them an overpriced choice for footware. You can do much better elsewhere, particularly when it comes to upfront cost. Shop around and use Zappos only if you have no other choice."
