"So far, my first experience with yesbuy.net has been bad. It's been 14 days since I ordered and I have yet to hear back from them since I sent a email and submitted a request on their website. Site navigation is terrible and trying to log in, find my account or find a phone number is next to impossible. When I tried to track my order using the provided order #... The UPS site does not have, nor is able to provide any information for this order. I'm now a little worried that this is a scam site and it may not be around long once it has made enough $$$ from unsuspecting buyers like my self. I can only hope it's just extremely poor customer service and I will eventually get my product. However, this will be the last time I purchase from this company. I also have 1,285 friends on facebook that will help me spread the word and you know if 1,285 people tell all their friends, the numbers climb exponentially. "Yesbuy is a scam. I ordered 100 DVD's from them and never received my order. They charged my credit card and never shipped my order. I have emailed them over and over, no response. I called my credit card company and they gave me the phone number to the company that they paid, the number is not in service. Today is June 30, 2010 and I still have never heard from them. There is no phone number on their website, so if you order something you have no way to call them or reach them. Bad way to do business. This company is a scam, don't trust them and don't buy from them. "
"Order submitted May 4, credit card charged May 6, still not received on June 2. Three requests for updates - no response. Notified that item shipped 5/21, still not here. There is no longer a way to contact the company except through my Google account. I've ordered from YesBuy before, so I didn't even look or notice that there is no address, no phone, no direct email, no contact link, no way to reach the company as before, and no way to file a complaint. I should have known better. I cannot recommend this company."
"I ordered from YESBUY.NET one week ago. I purchased 100 DVD cases. At the same time, I purchased 100 Lightscribe DVD's at Newegg.com AT THE SAME TIME.I received my DVD's from Newegg on Friday. As for Yesbuy.net, I'm still waiting. Unlike Newegg, I can not track my Yesbuy purchase, the UPS tracking number gives me no info. According to their emails, the package was to be delivered on Wednesday, however, I received an auto confirmation on Saturday night. It's Monday, and still no cases.Really don't recommend YESBUY.NET. Their website is pretty lame and their customer service is vague."
"After reading all the bad review here, I still decide to give it a try because of the cheap price on yesbuy. I ordered the HDMI cable and even know I lived in same state, it still takes about 10 days to receive my order. The HDMI cable was exactly waht i ordered, will for sure shop with them again."
"No shipment confirmation 9 days after paid in full order. Listed back-ordered, non-stocked merchandise as available. "Tracking" info on their site contains no tracking info or shipment proof-- it's a static copy of the order confirmation page. "Contact us" link on "tracking" page is dead-- points to website home page. Had to hit the web for a phone number-- Called, and got a human easily. She was helpful, but with a straight face apologized and said my order would be shipped this Friday, 11 days after I ordered it. Canceled the order, and was sent an email confirmation of same while still on the phone, but no proof of action. Digging for help on their site, I find they claim discretion to ship via USPS (which offers delivery confirmation, but usually zero useful tracking info if the package is delayed or lost,) instead of UPS ground which they charge appropriately for, and advertise throughout checkout process. Has such horrid feedback here and elsewhere that they have many aliases, including 'compcdr', which I fell prey to. Do yourself a favor and spend another couple bucks to order from someone else who actually stocks what they sell, and communicates with their customers without being hunted down."
"DO NOT BUY FROM YESBUY. They have TERRIBLE customer service. We ordered an item on 12/16, and never got a tracking number as promised. I emailed and asked for a tracking number -- no reply. Finally after calling a few days later, I got a tracking number. The item finally arrived on 1/7 -- BROKEN. We returned the item for replacement (with an RMA) and confirmed via UPS tracking that the item was received by them on 1/21. On February 4, I asked where the replacement item was. No reply. I emailed again on 2/12 and they replied: "Dear customer, We don't have the replacement item you want and we already process your refund. Thanks"So how was I supposed to know this? And no refund has appeared on my credit card account. UNACCEPTABLE from start to finish. Avoid YESBUY like the plague."
"Order was placed 01/11/2009.3 days later wrote and asked for shipping confirmation with no response.2 days later tried to get into their website and website wasn't functional. So replied from confirmation e-mail and still no response.On 01/20/08 when I should have received my product I get an e-mail saying, "We apologize to inform you that we could not process your order # 10737 due to items are out of stock for the moment. So we will go ahead cancel your order. If you have any further questions please contact us right away. Have a nice day!"What took them so long to realize this?They even charged me for the product. "There website says you can cancel your order if it has not shipped. This is not the case. I ordered a cable on Sunday night and called Monday to cancel it and the rep asked me to call back in a half hour. The second rep said my order had already been prepared for shipment. It is now 5 days later and my order has still not showing as shipped."

"I ordered their Yate Loon 120mm and 140mm fan combo, for a great price with free shipping. Their product page text stated that the fans are each the low-speed "L" model. The product page picture showed a medium-speed "M" 140mm fan. I emailed them about the discrepancy before placing the order but never received a response. Finally I decided to take a chance and placed my order. Shipping was not fast (over a week) but it was free. I received (1) low-speed 120mm fan and (1) medium-speed 140mm fan. I'd hoped for the low-speed 140mm fan, as stated on their web page text. I emailed them twice about getting the low-speed 140mm fan and finally heard back:"Please provide us with some visible pictures showing the wrong item received with the invoice, shipping label, and original box included in compliance with the claim procedures."No acknowledgment of the product text/picture discrepancy which remains on their website. No indication of whether they in fact have the 140mm low-speed fan in stock (I'd asked). And a reference to some "claim procedures" that I didn't find on their website, which apparently necessitate sending them pictures of the product received. (That's a new one.) And these fans didn't come in a box, so don't know what they're talking about there.Bottom line: For my $9 order, I'm not wasting any more time on Yesbuy.net. They had an excellent price but lacked an accurate description of their product, and their return/exchange procedure borders on ridiculous.I probably won't be ordering from them again. If I decide I really need that low-speed 140mm fan, I'll get it elsewhere."
"I ordered a laptop cooling pad from this store. This was my first order and I must say that I was impressed. The order was shipped out right away and arrived at my house on the estimated arrival date. When I opened the box, it was in original packaging without a mark on it. I started to use the cooling pad and it has worked great.I would do business again with YesBuy."
"The good: good price, and I did actually get semi-prompt e-mail replies from them when I wrote in to cancel my order because it was taking too long.The bad: charging of my credit card prior to shipping, S-L-O-W shipping, unclear tracking number given, no actual updates on the order tracking page sent to me (still hasn't updated, even though I have now received my order), unprofessional-looking / terse / bordering on rude e-mail replies.Let's go through these.1. Charging of my credit card [way] prior to shipping: this is a bit of an annoyance in my book when shopping online. Order was placed May 15th, and a USPS electronic confirmation was made May 21st. My credit card was charged May 18th. What does electronic confirmation mean? According to USPS:"The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on May 21, 2008 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date."Which means ... who knows when the USPS is going to get the package?Also, notice that this electronic confirmation was sent five post office business days after the order was placed.2. S-L-O-W shipping: I signed up for budget shipping, but let's see: order was placed May 15th, order did not arrive until May 27th. OK, budget in the Sundays that passed (2) and Memorial Day Monday (1). I still can't say I feel good about how long it took.3. Unclear tracking number given: how could this be unclear? I was baffled too. This was the e-mail sent to me:"Dear Sir/Madam Here is your information about your shipping Customer Name [name here] Invoice Number [6-digit all numeric number] Tracking Number [22-digit all-numeric number]"The lack of any punctation was theirs, and there was no sign-off or signature at the bottom of this e-mail.Note the lack of indication of which shipper was used, and what website I should plug this number into. I looked around on their FAQ, and they said they used UPS for "fast shipping". Well, UPS.com told me this was an invalid number. I tried USPS, and hey, it worked, though just that e-confirmation thing earlier.When I wrote in to ask them to cancel my order as it was taking too long, I was sent what looked to be a copy-and-paste off of a page with actual tracking information, from a website called http://www.ups-mi.net, which is apparently a partnership between UPS and USPS. Would have been nice to have given this info when my order shipped, I think.4. No actual updates on the order tracking page sent to me: they operate under a Yahoo storefront, and a Yahoo storefront page was sent to me with the claim, "You can always find out the current status of your order by going tohttps://order.store.yahoo.net/etcetcetc". Well, the top two fields, the ones I cared most about, still remain blank to this day: "Order Status" and "Tracking".5. Unprofessional-looking / terse / bordering on rude e-mail replies: Perhaps you could gather that from the above snippets. Aside from the initial automated "You've just placed an order" e-mail, all other e-mails were not friendly, did not look professional, and were very impersonal with no sign-offs on any of the e-mails, ie. "Sincerely, John". Not a single name.Sorry, Yesbuy, the good price I got on my order is not good enough for you to have my repeat business nor my positive recommendation."
"I ordered 2 Yate Loon D14SM-12 140mm 1400rpm fans. I received model # D14SL-12 140mm 1000rpm fans. I wrote Yesbuy about the mix-up but they ignored my emails. I found the ad on the web page listed the 1400rpm fan in the price section and has the specs of the 1400rpm fan in the spec section but also list the 1000rpm fan in the spec section. I wrote a spotlight review trying to warn future buyers about the mix-up. Yesbuy did not post the review and did not change the ad. I have had several successful orders but wander if these people are just arrogant or do not read, speak English very well.
