I have zero complaints about Joe and the service, quality, and products that he and buyxg.com provide. Everything was 100% perfect, and I could not have asked for a better experience. I paid for next day rush and ground shipping, but Joe contacted me and said due to the extra number of orders they had because of tax season and leftover from the holidays, 1 day rush wasn't possible, so he had my rig built 2 business days after my order, and my shipping was switched to 2 day, and he also recommended I upgrade my power supply, and I didn't have to pay anything extra.
Everything was great, and this rig was bought to add a 2nd computer to the house so my wife and I could play City of Villains together, and we are so happy, that now we have decided that next tax season we will be buying from buyxg again and replacing the older computer in the house with one from there. This is the best experience with a web purchase I have ever had, and recommend buyxg to anyone.

I ordered a computer from extreme gear on September 22, 2009. The computer shipped on September 25, 2009. I received the computer on October 1, 2009. Over the course of the next two weeks I talked with technical support twice regarding a problem I was having. They and I felt it could be a motherboard problem. It was a little difficult to contact technical support by phone and it took approximately 3 days to actually get through to them. Rather than full around I requested a refund on October 22, 2009. I received my RMA number on October 30, 2009. I shipped the computer back to them at my own expense as was stated in the warranty. They received the computer on October 30, 2009. In e-mails they sent me they stated that the refund process would take about 10 business days. 10 business days were up on November 16, 2009. I called customer support and found that the refund was processed on November 4, 2009 10 business days from that. Would be up November 18, 2009. When I talk to them on November 16 they stated they would leave a request to hasten the refund. I am at present waiting for the refund to be credited back to my credit card. So far I do not have any real complaints with this company as the machine I received I liked except for the issue of freezing up after every 10 or so starts. Also they have been courteous in their response to me and wrap it in their e-mail replies to me. I have some dissatisfaction with the difficulty of getting through to technical support by phone. Also I would like to see the refund speeded up somewhat. I would consider doing business with this company in the future if this is all finally handled to my satisfaction. We have looked into the situation with the refund transaction and everything has been fully processed on our end. The credit card company will now need to process the refund on their end and post it to your account. |

While not offering much information about the components in your build, if you do your own research on them you will save a significant amount versus other custom PC builders.
I could not buy the parts for the price they delivered it assemnled for!
5 Star build quality. The only problem was a DVD burner not working which was nothing other than a loose connection and easil fixed. And other than the 60 day trial of Office 2007 (I own the full version) no bloatware!
Great job and I thoroughly recommend them if you can navigate their website.
Be sure to build the same specs from more than one model they offer, as prices vary with identical components!

Great experience, overall.
Purchased a bare-bones kit from Tiger Direct, that after installation, would not POST. Spent three long weeks visiting forums, swapping parts, and troubleshooting various components before I finally conceded defeat.
I just realized that I saw a review for Extreme Gear on Reseller ratings. After visiting their site and using their configurator, I was able to purchase a beefier computer for less money than I would have originally paid.
I'm extremely satisfied with Extreme Gear. They build a great PC. Do not hesitate to take a chance on them. If I had not seen a positive review on them from this site I would have potentially spent hundreds more on a new computer. Good luck!

Took only 17 days from placing order to the time it arrived at my door-step -- not bad for a custom-built computer!
Overall, I am very happy with this build. Screaming fast components assembled and tested together for less than you can buy them separately!
My only complaint is that my system didn't come with the latest updated motherboard BIOS, which led to my CPU being detected and running at a much slower rate than it was meant to. It was kind of a pain in the butt to go through the motions of flashing the new BIOS: download the firmware from manufacturer's web-site, download a special utility to format the USB flash drive as a system disk with DOS (from a Windows 98SE Emergency Boot Disk floppy) on it, copy over the BIOS image file, reboot on the new system with USB-HDD boot method enabled in BIOS, flash it, and reboot... but at the end of the day I had a fully functional full-speed system.
I will definitely be buying from XtreamGear again.

Great experience, ordering was painless, communication was thorough and thanks to their online order tracking I knew exactly where my PC was in the process at all times.
The build was impeccable. All the components were exactly as I ordered with one major exception: Xtreme gear upgraded my speakers from Logitech 2.1 speakers to Logitech 5.1 speakers (a retail price difference of ~$50) for no charge.
The shipping was the best experience with computer or entertainment hardware I've ever had. The packaging was extremely secure including foam within the case itself.
Great job and thanks for the problem-free build!

Excellent prices and customer service - my computer system was delivered in a timely manner and works great! It cuts through games - old and new - like butter and so far has been very quiet and stable.
The sales staff are awesome and you won't find a better deal online in my experience, even if you try and buy all the parts separately and put it all together yourself (believe me, I looked).

I was very pleased with my purchase from Xtreme Gear. They built an excellent multipurpose computer, and shipped it to me quickly. The computer works excellent. Compared to a cookie cutter computer from Best Buy, their products are far superior. I shopped around alot online and found their prices to bew the best.

I have bout two Computers from This seller and am extremly satisfied. They offer what i want the are willing to build to my specifications and thier prices are very reasonable. I have had nothing but good service from them in the past and will continue to use them as my Computer store of choice.

Great service and fast processing! I got a call the next morning (I ordered my product late at night) and they confirmed my order over the phone. My product was here after a few business days and I am very satisfied with the shipping cost since I live in Hawaii.

When you buy on their website, its says "WILL SHIP IN 7-10 DAYS " how about three weeks instead.
I'm very disappointed with XtremeGear.com. I ordered my computer on 12/12 and I was hoping to receive it by 12/25 at the latest. This was supposed to be a New Years gift for my younger brother in NY.After I ordered the computer, 3 days later sales rep calls me and tells me that I will receive it after december of 2008. Then he offers me a deal that he can get it shipped to my house by 25th, if I pay 50 dollars extra for faster assembly. Like an idiot I agreed and paid extra 50 dollars.
Since the time was to short for me I was worried that I wont get my computer on time i cancelled the order that same day.I thought I will order two when I came back from NY in January, 1 for my brother and the other one for myself.The sales guy made it look like I was going to receive my refund the same day.They refunded my money 13 days later and my bank charged me 120 dollar fee for not crediting the money the same day of the cancel. I called XtremeGear back and explained them that my bank required a letter to be faxed from the murchant that says XtremeGear refunded 11 days later from the initial cancel and the fee will be waived but they refused a damn letter. This shall pass Ill just order from someone else who is more professional and custumer friendly.
DONT BUY FROM XTREMEGEAR, STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with the service you recieved. According to our records, you placed the order at 7pm our time on the 12th. We process orders twices a day, last time being at 3pm. Unfortuantely, you missed the deadline for your order to be processed that day. You were contacted the next business day and offered the rush to recieve the computer on time before christmas. As of the 22nd the computer was built and ready to ship and able to be delivered before christmas. However, you called to cancel the order. Normal procesing time for refunds is 3-5 business days. We have to disassemble the computer and inventory the parts. We are not able to credit your account the same day of cancellation. However, I did explain that we would try to expedite the refund. You canceled on the 22nd funds were credited as of the 26th. You are requesting a letter stating that we are at fault for the delay in credit, unfortunatly we are unable to meet your request. We made every geniune effort to expedite the process as much as possible. We apoligize for any inconveniece you have suffered. We hope that we will have to opportunity to serve your needs again in the near future.
