"In all honesty I doubted how well Xotic PC was because I am a firm believer in trying something and not just going by reviews... Used their rush service and ordered on Tuesday. On Monday the order shipped... The weekend obviously slowed things down but in all honesty if I would of paid with a CC instead of paypal it would of been probably instantly shipped by Friday. UPS actually beat their delivery date and delivered a day early so even better.. I got a MSI GT780DX and lemme tell you it is a wonderful machine.... Guy coming from Dell XPS M1530 using primarily for business but also gaming it is a beautiful laptop. Hutsady was my sales rep and let me tell you the man is a Asus lover but I can guarantee you he knows exactly what he is talking about. He spent a good hour with me going back and fourth between laptops and definitely was one of the main reasons I decided to return to Xotic PC after waiting for the MSI laptop to finally start shipping. Companies like Xotic PC are the companies that will be around forever because they get a loyal customer base... I can guarantee you any further laptop need's I have will always go through Xotic.. Great company, Great people, Locally based in the USA, wonderful everything so far.

A++ rating in my opinion. Thank you to Huts and the other guy's over at xotic.

"Update:
Within minutes of posting my review, I received a phonecall from Jason at Xoticpc. He told me that he was was willing to help me out with my situation so that I would be completely satisfied. After talking about how we could narrow down the problem and fix it, we finally agreed on him sending out a new laptop the next day! I actually did not expect that to be the resolution but I guess he wanted to make sure I was happy and had my laptop ASAP. To make things even better, he told me that Xoticpc would be upgrading my second 500gb hard drive to a 750gb hard drive for free! To be honest, I am in shock. I did not expect an online retailer to go this far to satisfy their customers. Jason went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I was wrong in my initial review about Xoticpc. I will definitely shop with them again!

I purchased an Asus G53SW-XR1 from xoticpc on September 9th and after waiting almost 3 weeks, I finally received my laptop. I have had issues with my laptop since the moment I received it. The first time I turned it on, the laptop booted fine and showed the asus post screen, then it went straight to the 'windows is now loading' screen. It never made it past that screen. The laptop ALWAYS freezes on the windows is now loading screen the first time. Oddly enough, if you turn off the laptop and turn it back on the laptop will boot immediately into bios and then finally get past the boot hang and will work properly. I called tech support and the tech told me to run a checkdisk on my hard drive to see if that would correct the issue. I ran the checkdisk and my issue is still happening. I also updated the firmware on my momentus xt 500gb hard drive and that also did not help. I called customer service and was told to email their service department and I could see about getting the hard drive swapped out or I could pay shipping and get a new laptop sent out to me, which would end up taking weeks. I need my laptop for school and my classes have already started so I am going to be out of a laptop until the middle of my semester. Even if it is the hard drive that is causing the problem, I am going to have to swap it out which will cost me money since I have no idea how to do that. Having to wait weeks to get your laptop to find out it has issues and then to get them repaired you have to wait even longer, this doesn't sit well with me at all. Overall, I am disappointed with my purchase and definitely wont purchase from xoticpc again."

"Purchased a custom Sager NP8130 laptop from Xotic PC primarily for gaming, but also for everyday use a few months ago. Since then, I have had no significant problems with my laptop from day one and don't foresee any in the future. As for the customer service, I definitely appreciate the professional, no-BS courtesy provided by Hutsady and Co. when it came down to price and shipping options. Will definitely consider them as a first choice again for my next laptop. Thank you, XoticPC."

Basically to sum up, make sure you know exactly what you are ordering and make sure you have the money to spend it. They are a bit less expensive than the other places I researched for a top of the line laptop, but still expensive, but that's what you expect when you are looking for performance. For the most part you get what you pay for. I had a few issues trying to get a few items that were on back order but talked to support and got a full credit to my account and also got some items a bit later, but the laptop and case shipped fast just enough time to get and take to my business trip. And that made me happy. The thing is also make sure you print out and keep an exact copy of what you order and the prices you paid for them. The prices change daily so if you ever have to follow up with the company you have a way to query what you bought. The laptop is pretty quality build. The keyboard is pretty good but sometimes I type too fast and it doesn't take. I wish it had more slots in the laptop. The otherthing is that support is through chat, email and phone. I never used chat that much since I work during the week. Email is mostly okay until you order a product then it kind of drops off some and is a bit harder to get questions answered. The phone is the best way to deal. I had to contact the manufacturer because XoticPC handles orders and Sager handles the laptop manufacturing portion. I ordered a Sager and had some confusion of the specs mainly because I was gettng a smaller laptop, but after some communication realized that's how big thy made them. Overall it's a good laptop. Would I order from them again? Maybe if I get more money, yes. My next order will probably be something smaller from a local store though since I need something with lower specs and longer battery life."

"I had an all-around excellent experience with Xotic. Their prices are very reasonable for solid computers, and their communication is fantastic. I was updated by e-mail at every stage of the order and was very promptly informed when one of my parts wound up on backorder. Highly recommended."

"I bought an ASUS G53 laptop through XoticPC last summer and the machine is excellent. Their prices are hard to beat and the customization options for the machines are excellent. I got a computer much more powerful than a Dell of the same price.

There was an issue with a manufacturer's rebate offer that somehow expired between the date I placed the order and the date the order was processed, and there was no notification about this. Through email correspondence I was offered half of the rebate back, which I accepted. There was an issue with Paypal not crediting my account, but they were able to fix it promptly. Overall, they put in the effort to make sure nobody is left hanging, which is not something you can say about many companies. Especially those that sell laptops."

"I ordered my Sager NP8130 back in August and have been very pleased with my decision to buy from Xotic PC. It was my first time ordering a customized laptop online. I did some poking around and came across this a few sites that did custom laptops. The sites I looked at all sold similar products and services at almost identical prices. All had outstanding reviews. Truthfully I chose Xotic PC because they had the visually appealing website and I do not regret that decision at all.

The buying process was very simple. Pick a base laptop then customize it. The website was easy to navigate and very easy to pick what you wanted. I have very picky tastes but Xotic PC allows anyone to build something to their liking.

I did encounter one problem when buying, but Xotic PC resolved the issue almost immediately. My purchase was covered by an outside organization so the phone number I provided did not match the phone number on the credit card that was used for the purchase. They sent me one email, I sent one back and everything was resolved. No fuss at all.

Xotic PC sent me emails through the entire building, testing, and shipping phases. It was nice to be kept up to date on the status of my order.

The laptop arrived on time and the packaging was very secure. Came with a free messenger bag that I had not expected. Though on the website I ordered the Logitech Anywhere MX mouse, but it gave me the Logitech Performance MX mouse instead. I'm not complaining though because the Performance mouse is the upgraded version of the Anywhere mouse. My only gripe is that it came OEM, meaning there was no box, manual, or rechargeable battery for the mouse.

What really put the icing on the cake was that 3 months after I had made my purchase, Xotic PC sent an email asking about how my laptop was performing and offered to answer any questions I had. No other company I have interacted with has had the courtesy to check up on their customers and how they liked their product. Absolutely outstanding, Xotic PC.

I would definitely order again from Xotic PC and would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a customized PC."

"I bought an ASUS G74SX-XR1 from Xotic PC back in September as I was looking for a pretty good gaming/entertainment laptop. My friend actually referred me to this site and I was impressed with the wide variety of laptops they had.

The cost of the laptops are pretty much what you would expect if you wanted to purchase a good one, however, you do get the choice to customize some things such as your hard drive, graphics card and such.

The shipping took about 3 weeks for my laptop because they were "testing" it which was fine for me. I don't mind the extra time it takes as long as my laptop runs fine.

One thing that stood out to me was the promotions they had such as a free hard drive upgrade and free shipping, they even took the time to email me back to make sure everything was fine.

Overall Xotic PC is a great place to purchase your high performance. The customer service is excellent and I have not had any problems with my laptop. I'm looking forward to doing business again with them in the future."

"I got a laptop from XoticPC back in September 2011. I shopped around for a few weeks and was (still am) very particular about what I wanted. Their selection is awesome. They offer a wide range of performance laptops, including great mid-range gaming choices. For the price, I couldn't find anything that performed as well. Their customer service is an obvious priority; I've only had to contact them once but their responses were quick, professional and helpful. I'd highly recommend this company (and I have) to anyone looking to get a new laptop, no matter what they're looking for."

"I bought a Sager laptop through Xotic PC. They were the cheapest seller of Sager that I could find. They were EXTREMELY easy to work with. I had no problems at any point with them. They have a VERY personal staff that personally answers all questions. I have been in contact with them on several occasions and have never had anything but pleasant experiences."
