The first two were high-performance Sager laptops, used for my research lab. They have performed admirably for three years now and have had no problems. <br><br>The third laptop I bought from them, another Sager, was for myself. With that one, I had a minor issue with the machine when waking from sleep, but Xotic PC recently contacted me just to check and see if everything was ok with my new laptop. I told them about the problem I was having and they actually helped me to solve it. I\u0027m usually unimpressed by technical service representatives, but I have to say that the person helping me from Xotic really knew their stuff.<br><br>Finally, it is worth noting that for the power and performance I was looking for, I could find no better price than at Xotic PC. The laptop is A+ and blows away my old HP laptop in just about every respect: awesome screen, cool lighted keyboard, excellent video game performance, very little bloatware. I like the fact that Xotic upgrades the thermal paste when you upgrade the cpu. I purchased the Sager NP8130, and chose the Intel i5-2410M CPU, nVidia GeForce GTX 560M graphics card, and 8GB of DDR3 1333MHz RAM for $1134. It has a very basic look with black exterior (you are given the choice of removing the Sager logo for no fee), and sports a beautiful matte screen that I have gotten compliments for.<br><br>tl;dr - Great laptop, great service from XoticPC. 5 Stars. "After looking around for my new laptop, I decided to order from XoticPC based on a number of reviews and recommendations I see online.
As I was ordering in a hurry for my travel, I had to put in a rush order payment based on recommendation from X-PC sale person, it wasn't exactly cheap but at least I got my laptop pretty fast so I got no complain there.
The package was missng a BF3 redeem code and after talking with online support staff and sending a few emails that was sorted out pretty quickly.
After my travel, I noticed that there was a problem with the power button not working right and the LED light was always off. I looked around online and took a wild guess that there must be some problem with the power button cable. So I opened up the laptop front power strip cover after some playing around and found the power button cable connector is indeed lose, and after re-connecting it the issues seem to have been resolved. My guess is the connector probably already got loose when they installed a new wireless card in that same area which required disconnecting and re-connecting the power button cable blocking the way and my travel probably loosened it even further.
So far, the laptop is working fine and I found no other issue with it yet. Overall, even though it is not a completely hassall free experience, I am still satisified with my purchase and would still recommend it to anyone simply based on price point and staff support quality and attitude. It would be nice if the company can continue to improve on paying attention to small details and order processing speed (without rush order the entire order and processing speed just seems too long)."
