This was my first purchase from Xotic PC and I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth the transaction was. One of the best aspects was the personal attention received from the moment I placed my order.  
 
Xotic always kept me informed of the status of my order including connecting the fact that I placed an order and also had posted questions on their message boards. Their personnel answered by questions by going directly to my order to make sure the information and response I received was accurate and tailored to my needs.  
 
As for the product, I could not be more pleased. I will definitely be buying my next computer from Xotic and will highly recommend them to others.

April 2009 I purchased an Asus laptop from BB, used it for a while but it didnt have what i needed, so i gave it to the wife and purchased a another laptop through BB, more geared for gaming and something to keep me occupied in my off time on my deployment. Unfortunately that laptop had an accident, someone accidentally smashed the screen.  
 
This time I decided I wanted to really shop around, find the perfect laptop that I wanted.. not a thrown together pre-packaged laptop from a big name company that i'd end up spending more money on than its worth. I did a lot of research prior to buying, reading reviews, reading forums, etc. I ended up deciding on buying a Sager, and xoticpc came highly recommended by some members of the notebookreview.com forums. They were great, both Justin and Joseph that I talked to helped me along the whole process. The livechat feature on their website made it even easier, I'm currently serving overseas and I can either use my magicjack which can lag and be very annoying, or a phone card at the call center to call back to the states, so this was perfect. They were there every step of the way to make sure I was happy and I can say their customer service was great! I'd gladly recommend them to anyone, even if its just to ask their opinion on any of the models they sell, im sure they'd be happy to give their input. Looking forward to doing business with them in the future.

The product that I purchased from this seller came with good quality, completely perfect as select in ordered and also provided an efficiency communication (before & after sell) to give a recommendation and solve a problem.

The staff is experienced and proffesional. Buying a laptop is an important decision (not only regarding price, but many other factors as well) and the patience of these guys was above and beyond. They also have a forum in which many of their past customers keep participating, contributing and helping the less experienced people.  
The laptop itself arrived on time with no fuss, with everything working and in order. Few weeks in I had a small problem, and while manufacturer took 3 weeks to respond, Xotic did it in few hours! They won't solve all your problems, but they will escort you to the point where you're completly satisfied.  
 
Overall, 5 0f 5, 10 of 10, 2 thumbs up... whatever you wanna call it, it's the right place to get your laptop!

This being the first time I have ordered from XoticPC, I was a bit nervous, but I took a leap of faith and jumped. I did my research first using this and other sites to check their ratings and XoticPC received high marks. All of the high marks in customer service and quality are justified. They work with you to find a solution and that is a prize in this economy and market where customer service is a premium product, especially with real people answering the phone. I worked with Joseph Lee and he was accommodating and customer oriented! Great job Joe!!!  
 
I bought the Sager NP8690 (Built on Clevo W860CU) Custom Gaming Laptop. I'm not much of a gamer but I am a graphic/web designer and need most of the bells and whistles that gamers use day to day. I needed a cross between a desktop replacement and portability, this seemed a good match.  
 
Pros: Excellent performance and value compared to competitors' laptops. Surprisingly quiet for the number of fans. I have owned a Dell desktop replacement and other computers and by far this exceeds them all. This machine came with it's own CDs, no bloatware, is relatively quiet, and has an excellent design overall.  
 
Xotic PC has a solid support mechanism and good quality control system. I had to send the first unit back for replacement due to a screen issue. Granted it took longer than I would have liked but to be fair that was not an issue that XoticPC could control as it was the Holidays and Sager was taking time off. So I won't be a Grinch about the time they took.  
 
Cons: I do recommend buying a cooler as it does run a bit hot but not more than my previous Dell. It's a 15.6 laptop and as such its weight is greater but not a real drawback. I noticed a stuck pixel a week ago, but it fixed itself after a small amount of pressure to the pixel area. The USB ports aren't all in convenient places and the one right by where you use the mouse is annoying but again not a serious issue.  
 
Once I received the replacement laptop and put it through some paces using Adobe Photoshop 64b version, Lightroom 64b version, Premiere Elements, and a few other programs I was more than satisfied with it's speed, RAM (4G), and relative heat output when in use for long periods of time.  
 
So Far, I haven't found a single application that it can't run. If you're in the market for a good graphics machine that is a cross between the high end Desktop Replacement and something a little more portable this is for you! You'll be very happy with the customization options and solid performance you get out of the 8690.

I ordered an OCZ FORCE EXTREME 840 for a client and I was very impressed when it came in. The laptop was everything that I expected, and my client was extremely happy with his new gaming laptop. He has been using it now for about 4 months and he is still extremely happy.

Like so many others, I think XoticPC is great. The order process was the smoothest I have ever had. Customer Service kept the communication flowing, even when they had to inform me my Sager NP8760 was delayed. I've had the laptop now for a couple of weeks and it has worked flawlessly so far. I highly recommend XoticPC to anyone looking for a new computer. My laptop even came with physical copies of the OS and driver media. I don't have to create my own system restore CDs and there is no bloatware on the laptop so I didn't have to spend any time uninstalling the "extras". Ordered a Sager 9280 in September 2009 and it's been great. The machine gets crushed with work demands during the day and long stretches of gaming at night -- between 14-16 hours of continuous operation per day, every day -- and it's performed without a hitch. I recommend it highly.  
 
Pros: Extraordinary performance and value compared to competitors' laptops. Mass-marketed machines by HP and Toshiba are decent, but even their top-end heavy-duty desktop replacements feel flimsy compared to this Sager. Great touchpad placement with regard to design -- I usually wind up disabling t-pads because my palms brush up against them while typing, but this one's perfectly out of the way. Surprisingly quiet for having four fans.  
 
Also, Xotic PC seems to have a solid after-sale support and quality control system in place -- I imagine their size allows them to be a bit more accommodating than the giant faceless conglomerates that make up the competition. I get the impression I wouldn't have to worry if I had to send the unit back for repairs, which is a lot more than I can say for HP, Toshiba, Compaq, etc.  
 
Cons: It's not the most portable unit in the world, but I'm used to lugging full-size laptops around so its weight doesn't bother me. Locked up once due to heat during a marathon gaming session, but I blame the software for that, not the hardware. I thought I noticed a stuck pixel a couple of weeks ago, but it seems to have fixed itself. The Page Up / Page Down / Home / End keys are function-enabled instead of having their own buttons. But now I'm nitpicking.  
 
Overall, the 9280 has been phenomenal so far. I haven't found a single application that it can't run. If you're in the market for a high-end desktop replacement, you'll be very happy with the customization options and solid performance you get out of this gem.

Excellent customer service. Questions were answered quickly and answered thoroughly. Product was delivered exactly as advertised and I am very happy with both it and the price I paid for it. My experience is that this is a reliable company that delivers a quality product with excellent customer communication.

What can I say, Justin W. and the whole crew at XoticPC took VERY good care of me on my NP8760 purchase! Justin answered all my questions promptly and professionally and I was kept up to date on progress. The shipping was fast, product was PERFECT for my needs, and I'm overjoyed with the machine! I cannot find a single thing wrong with the whole purchase experience, these guys are real pros and I give them a 100% recommendation!

Long Story Short - Justin at Xotic PC came thru as promised!  
Dec 1 - Started research looking for a Gaming laptop as a gift for a great brother-in-law.  
Dec 7 - Set sights on Asus GX72-A1. Was going to slightly customize (SSD, extra Ram) for around $1800.00  
Dec 8-Dec 15 - STILL on Pre-order. Called various dealers (GENTECH was most forthcoming advising ASUS is often optimistic on delivery dates)  
Dec 16 - Gotta decide. Time in between was looking at SAGER, checking Reseller Ratings, reading thru Forums, etc. Looked at MALIBAL and others but from Forums looked like Xotic PC was the most personal and trustworthy. From other Forum posts at Xotic PC saw JUSTIN (evidently the owner?) was encouraging direct contact. Set up an online chat, asked questions, etc. Xotic PC has a nice, clean, clear setup for chats, even emailing the Chat Log to me.  
Decided it was crunch time and was assured by Justin that he would personally look after getting me the SAGER I chose (Uggh $2200.00!!) in time for Christmas.  
Dec 24 - After a very clear and straightforward series of emails I was never worried. OK, I had to pay $49.00 for RUSH BUILD and set up a Secure Payment (hold on Credit Card and send check by mail) but that's what you pay for waiting to the last minute?  
FINAL ANALYSIS - I don't know if Justin actually looked after this personally but he answered every email and the laptop arrived ON TIME, AS ORDERED!  
Dec 25 - GREAT SUCCESS. Flawless startup and lots of friends and family were playing Left 4 Dead 2 at highest settings all night and for days after without a hiccup.  
Based on the pre-order, order and delivery process I have no doubt the Customer Service of Xotic PC will be all that the Forum members commented it will be. Hopefully we don't have to use it but still comfortable it will be as advertised. If not, I'll be back ! ! !  
Xotic PC is (so far) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ! !
