"This is the result of an attempt to order a heli from XHeli on Feb 28. I 'chatted' with Chris on 3/13 and found that the color was out of stock. I went back to chat on 3/19 and this is what I got... Taylor: Hi, how can I help you? Taylor: Our phone number is 626.968.9860, please note that it may be busy. Robert Bartlett: Hi Taylor, I spoke to Chris about a week ago regarding my order #1618461. The model color was out of stock and I authorized a change to any color available and was told that the order would go in immediately. Still no indication that anything has happened. What gives?? Taylor: I will be right with you. Taylor: One moment please. Taylor: I do apologize due to upper management we are not able to ship out anything since you filed a Charge back against us from the bank . Your account is closed with us . Robert Bartlett: OK, I can assume that I can institute a new order then? Taylor: To be honest your now able to place any orders with us anymore. Robert Bartlett: Ah, now I understand, your company gets to charge immediately,neglects to ship and gets offended if the customer holds payment until the order is filled. Is that about right? Taylor: Once a charge back has been filed that means your bank will refund your money , which is not a pending and your account is now closed from us I do apologize."
"VERY DISAPPOINTED. I ordered a volitation 9053, this is my first larger scale helicopter. I was very impressed with their web sight, and considered my first purchase as a entry level to this hobby, and further purchases from xheli. The helicopter arrived 2 weeks later (I live in Canada). On opening the box everything was intact. I tested the helicopter in my living room, and disappointingly the tail rotar did not work. I have called them, and put in hold (there is no 1-800 number), and waited for 20 mins with no answer. I have emailed, several times for different reasons and no response. The cost of the helicopter was reasonable, but my costs in phone calls, and time are increasing. Reading the responses on this review sight, the only ones who are happy are the ones who got their helicopter working, there are more people unhappy because it doesn't work, and xHeli does does not respond. VERY DISAPPOINTED. "
"I don't see why everyone doesn't like the website. I order a 2.4Ghz Transmitter and got it 2 days, even though I paid for regular shipping. Maybe I just got lucky but the prices they had & the fast service doesn't seem half as bad as everyone here is describing it."
"i have ordered 5 different heli's from this website the first 3 went flawless but after i ordered my last 2 i received one incorrect heli. it was 10$ cheaper then the one i had ordered in the first place. when i called to have this corrected they told me that they could reimburse me the 10 that i over paid for the one i revived. i would normally take that out but this one was for my nephew and the heli was the same model his dad flies in the marines, so it was important that i got the correct the heli. so for their mistake they wanted me to pay for the shipping to send the incorrect heli back and pay for the new one to be sent to me. for their mistake they should absorb the extra costs. so i am getting my lawyer involved just to make a point over maybe 15$ so hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else in the future."
"When I placed my order, I gave them instructions that the entire order needed to be filled and shipped within 24 hours or it shouldn;t be processed. They accpeted the order and charged my card for the entire amount, and then 4 different employees lied to me saying it would be shipped within the time needed, then said it had been shipped when it hadn't, in fact one employee swore he walked back to warehouse and verfied it had left that morning when in fact it was still at the warehouse and didn't ship till that night, and in fac they didn;t ship the order for 48 hours. Then when the order arrived, one of the items was wrong, it was a different version of the one they had advertised, a cheaper version, their support employee stated yeah, that's the wrong ad we can't get that one any more."
"I ordered a Syma S033G Remote controlled Helicopter from Xheli.com on 12/29/2011 in the amount of $79.79. The helicopter arrived defective. I tried to contact Xheli.com customer service by calling their phone, using their online chat, e-mailing them, and posting on their forum at Rcdiscuss.com. As of today, 1/11/2012, I have still not been given a chance to either get a refund or exchange the helicopter. This is my last step before filing a complaint with my credit card company and shipping back the product. The problem with that is, I still will lose out on the shipping costs. After doing some research on their own forum and at Resellerratings.com, I found that this is a common problem with this company. Ultimately, I would just like the company to perform as their own return policy on their website states. "
"Don't know what you people are doing wrong. Have had a great experience with XHeli. Got one of the big 3.5 channel helis and it flys great for a three channel. had a problem with it cutting out during flight, so I went on the live chat, we figured out it was probably a bad pcb board and they said they would send one out. They said if I was not comfortable changing out the pcb board, send the copter back and they would send a new copter out. I opted for the pcb board and they sent a new one out. Took about 10 days total to get it from the time we talked. Put it in,, PERFECT no problems,,,Quit your whinning,,I also deal with nitro planes,,,hobby partz,,,no problem they have always stood behind there products,,thats why I keep comming Back. Been to flying rc for 20+ yrs,, this was my first copter,,, going to buy a 4channel fixed pitch next and really learn how to fly a heli,,Quit sniveling,,If you can't stand the heat go to tower hobbies, at there prices you'll be in the poor house."
"I agree with all of the bad reviews here. Don't buy from this vendor. I've bought 3 helicopters from them, 2 worked fine so I didn't have a reason to contact them but the 3rd didn't work. Don't bother trying to contact them. Your emails are never returned and I got nothing but a busy signal when I tried calling (several times). Do yourself a favor, if there's an RC chopper you want, don't give in to the cheaper price offered at Xheli. Buy from a local vendor where you can resolve problems if they arise because Xheli is a lost cause. AVOID!!!!"
"xheli has a fantastic website no doubt. best one you'll find for rc helicopters on the web.
however, xheli is a horrible merchant! the products i've ordered from them (components for a helicopter build kit) came with no paperwork at all. no shipping manifests, no instructions, no diagrams, nothing!
if you have anything go wrong with your product, FORGET CALLING OR EMAILING THEM! i sat on hold waiting to be connected with a representative well over 1 hour on my lunch break at work and still never got through. i waited to connect with their online chat tech support for well over an hour while the screen told me my wait time was 27 minutes the whole time. i was finally connected. if someone wouldve bothered to answer the phone my question was simple and couldve been done in less than 3 minutes.
i emailed them about returning an item. it took over 3 weeks for them to return my email. then, the email told me to go to some other website to try and fix the problem. i'd already been there and the website did not fix the problem.
they said in that email they would send an RMA request. its been 5 business days and i still havent heard back from them!
i bought a micro helicopter for my brother. the tail motor failed after only 4 flights. God only knows how long it will take to get a return email from them this time!
and im STILL trying to return my other items from before this helicopter!!!!
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! garbage products with no documentation at all. there are better prices, products, and companies that deserve your business elsewhere
