"Excellent service through the entire process!

I needed some parts and Span were the cheapest - after not dealing with them before I decided to give them a go and placed an order.

They are, hands down, the best place I've bought parts from in a LONG time.

They show stock levels that are up to date, so you don't buy something only to find it was actually out of stock (I'm looking your way Dabs!)

When you place an order, you can specify a different delivery address, which is a small but invaluable feature sadly missing from some sites.

They have an excellent selection of postage options, including collection in person.
Very handy if you need something for a deadline.

The parts I ordered arrived exactly when they said, and the packaging was sensible & secure.

I had to email to prove the delivery address, which must be to prevent fraud, but it was just one email, and they were a pleasure to deal with.

I will definitely be returning to Span for future orders, and will probably use them at work too, which is as much of a compliment as I can give as I will rest my reputation on them doing what they say, when they say they will.

Great company - don't hesitate to place an order!

"This is the first time I have used Span and it was an excellent experience:

My order arrived promptly and I was kept informed of the progress of my order every step of the way.

Not only that, the Span website had detailed information about the product I ordered (not just cut and paste information from the manufacturer) which enabled me to purchase the correct parts - and save time.

"Span is a first class on-line store:
1. There products are price competitive
2. The web site is one of the most informative I have seen
3. The web site connects you to the correct accessories to prevent incompatibilities
4 Rapid delivery
But most of all was the helpful and almost immediate communications. I had a requirement for a product which was difficult to source and they didn't stock it. They sourced it and at a better price than the nominated uk supplier from the manufacturer!
I have nothing ut praise for this company especially D R Argles who helped me.
I will definitely source my kit from them for my next project."

"All went well: fast shipping, hard drive with a good packaging.
Very good support: mails answered within the day...this was my first order, but I don't think it will be the last."

"I agree with all the comment. The 'Span' service is really at the highest level... Good communication about the ordre, fast shipping and delivery... good products choice (correct item description)... and prices ! This is 3rd order and not the last !"

"When I was thinking about purchasing the item I ended up ordering, I thought it was a bit pricey for what it was. However, the item was specialist, I could not find it anywhere else. I decided to go ahead and place my order and within 10 minutes, I had someone contact me about a problem with the order (which was my fault). After I responded, I had another quick response and my item was dispatched. The next day I received it and I was very happy with my purchase. Even if it was a little more than I hoped, the service made it so worthwhile, would use again without a doubt."

"Another fantastic purchase from Span... I now won't buy storage products from anyone else - even if they somehow managed to be cheaper. Span delivers when they say they will, at a great price, the right product and it works first time. Fantastic customer service back up their sales team, their website is informative, well designed, quick and easy to use. In the event of queries, their mails get answered quickly, their phone staff are polite and helpful and the whole experience is pleasant and reassuring. Big thumbs up for a company that understands how to make customers happy, comfortable and loyal!"

"took a couple of days to confirm because i wanted posted to my work address but once that was sorted out order arrived quickly. cable in box wasn't uk spec but a quick email to span customer service sorted that out and they sent another in the mail very quickly. overall very impressed and would use again."

"I had to find some right angled USB Type B cables to make everything fit as it should be on a big job I was working on .. as simple as it sounds this caused me major grief. I placed this order with 2 other companies before placing the order with Span, both took the order and then later mailed me to say that they did not have the item in stock :-(
My company looked a bit rubbish at this point as we had not finished the job and 1 week had passed.

Span took the order, warned me that because of the current postal problems it may take a while, sent me a mail when they had packed it ( same day ) and it actually arrived the next morning. :-)

This was a silly little order from a new customer, they did not know that I spend £000's each year on tech gear.

Top marks - keep it up!"
