Goods well packed, arrived when Span said they would. I have ordered several items from Span over the years and have never been disappointed. Friendly, helpful, quick to answer queries, and they stock good quality parts so you can be sure what you are getting will work as advertised. Highly recommended.

Ordered a SAS/SATA controller and what I guessed was the right cable. It wasn't, but as I had added a help request for this matter in the order notes, I've been promptly contacted by email, informed of the (small) price difference, and got the right cable.

I was a little disapointed with delivery date given once the order had been placed. I ordered on a saturday and selected a next day delivery which cost me £12.40. i had expected to receive the item on the tuesday morning as it was receipted on the monday morning when i had to call to confirm the delivery address. it is arriving on the wednesday ! Not best pleased after paying extra for next day!

The "next day delivery" is the courier service, it will not make stock arrive to us any faster.
The product ordered says "available in about 3 days" on it, and this is shown on the product page, and in the basket, and in the choice of delivery methods, and on the confirmation page, and on the confirmation email.
When it was ordered on Saturday, the estimated despatch date was Wednesday for a Thursday delivery. This estimate is also shown on the checkout page, and confirmation emails.
This order was in fact despatched on Tuesday and delivered on Wednesday morning, i.e. a day early. |

A good shop with a great range of products, good comms and very fast delivery. All-in-all I had a a good experience shopping with them, I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

The company focuses in storage:
(1) integrated solutions: they have set up a working "wizard-like" website, where you may find hints on which cable to use to connect to a specific device: an added value I have never seen elsewhere;
(2) the technical descriptions are not blind copy/paste from manufacturer's site; sometimes errors may be found, but they are actively acknowledged.
(3) competitive prices, even including overseas shipment;
(4) top-class service: prompt reply, every question answered;
(5) fast shipments, even within a few hours from order if the items are in stock; an order at 5 pm receives the same attention as at 9 am.
I cannot tell anything about how they manage controversies, since I haven't experienced them.
In summary: if you need storage, don't miss to try them.

First order from Span, went smoothly. Wasn't in stock, but they said they would get it in 2 days. They did, which is more than most resellers who make such claims. Recommended. Will buy from here again.

This was my 1st order with Span and they were really helpful and efficient, I had ordered the wrong hard drives so i called Span to explain my error and they said no problem, I returned them and the next day the new ones arrived!! A pleasure to deal with and will definately be using them again.

Beyond dreadful.
We wanted some special cables, use then online order system, order confirmed.
Then they tell us they only have one, but we need it so send that.
It didn't arrive next day although I paid for overnight delivery. I informed Span but they didn't follow it up.
I'm still trying to get my money back, the 'tracking' number they gave me is not recognised by Royal Mail.
I'm sure if your order has no problems you will be happy, but the mark of a good company is when an order goes bad how do they sort things out.
The service I have from Span is on par with Ryanair customer services!

11th December 2009 received the following offer from Worldspan
“If you will now remove your review from resellerratings.com, any others you may have posted, and undertake not to post one again, we will as a gesture of goodwill, send you a second free cable today by Citylink for delivery on Monday.”
04th January 2010
“The claim with Royal Mail has been sent and we are still awaiting the outcome, we have contacted them and been informed that it is still being processed. We will contact you as and when we hear anything.”
They have had my money since 19th November 2009, they have no proof of delivery by the Royal Mail, yet they still refuse to refund my money.

Royal Mail have confirmed non-delivery after 28 days.
Customer has been refunded in full.
Royal Mail are not a courier service, do not have any tracking information,
and so are unable to locate any parcel at any time. |

I ordered a replacement drive for my MP3 player to pick up from their depot. The order was quickly processed, I received an email asking when I was going to pick it up, and when I got lost on the industrial estate a kind person came out to rescue me! Altogether a good experience.

I had to find some right angled USB Type B cables to make everything fit as it should be on a big job I was working on .. as simple as it sounds this caused me major grief. I placed this order with 2 other companies before placing the order with Span, both took the order and then later mailed me to say that they did not have the item in stock :-(
My company looked a bit rubbish at this point as we had not finished the job and 1 week had passed.
Span took the order, warned me that because of the current postal problems it may take a while, sent me a mail when they had packed it ( same day ) and it actually arrived the next morning. :-)
This was a silly little order from a new customer, they did not know that I spend £000's each year on tech gear.

I just wanted to say that ordering from Span was a joy. The staff were very helpful, the products arrived very quickly, they give many delivery options. I Will be definitely be doing business with them again soon.

took a couple of days to confirm because i wanted posted to my work address but once that was sorted out order arrived quickly. cable in box wasn't uk spec but a quick email to span customer service sorted that out and they sent another in the mail very quickly. overall very impressed and would use again.

Another fantastic purchase from Span... I now won't buy storage products from anyone else - even if they somehow managed to be cheaper. Span delivers when they say they will, at a great price, the right product and it works first time. Fantastic customer service back up their sales team, their website is informative, well designed, quick and easy to use. In the event of queries, their mails get answered quickly, their phone staff are polite and helpful and the whole experience is pleasant and reassuring. Big thumbs up for a company that understands how to make customers happy, comfortable and loyal!
