"I originally rated 1 star, I've now changed it to 3 stars. I had a poor experience with woofersetc.com involving multiple delays due to a manufacturer ownership change that ultimately took more than a month to resolve. I received multiple calls regarding this and received a phone call from David at woofersetc. He was kind enough to extend his time after my order was received and I expressed my appreciation to him for reaching out to me. I also shared with him my concern that they would list an item as in stock even though it wasn't. He let me know that their relationship with the manufacturer (image dynamics) has always been sound and they were at a point where this kind of issue never came up and being that they're literally within an hour's shipping distance, it always made sense to assume that their stock would be sound. Unfortunately, it wasn't in this case. Woofersetc provided me with free gifts and an upgrade on my speakers. I'm still pretty miffed, and in particular I would appreciate it if, as their customer, I received more than "we're stuck in the middle." I've worked in customer service for 11 years. Despite the faults of our vendors and even our competition, we never place blame, we take ownership and accept responsibility even when it's not our fault. We try to move forward and focus on any other options for resolution. Woofersetc tried to do this for me but the damage is done. I DO HOWEVER EXPECT THAT THIS IS A ONE-OFF SITUATION. Even the best businesses screw up once in a while. I may do business with them again, but I'm still a little pissed off about it and would appreciate greater ownership in the future."
