"I ordered my first pair of cell phones via the internet from FONCentral.com and will never return. I received the phones quickly and received rebates to the tune of actually making money with Mail-In-Rebates (MIR) I purchased 2 Motorola E815 phones at $249.99 each. I was presented with rebates of $50.00, $75.00, and $125.00, with a free bluetooth headset to boot.

1)The bluetooth headsets were not what was described in the description
2)The rebates have ***ALL*** been emailed back to me saying that they were INVALID.

A few things to remember. The ***FINE PRINT*** on the rebates state a few things like...1)Mail this in between 180-210 days from setting up service and things to this nature, which I have done. I purchased these in September, 2005 and have waited now until March 24, 2006 before mailing them in (so that they were sent in during the very short 180-210 day window)

All rebates are said to be INVALID. What a scam!

I will never do business like this over the internet with FONCentral.com or any other inphonic.com reseller."

"I tried to get my $270 worth of rebates and was told by customer service that they could not help me. Wirefly hired an Indian customer service group. The first line person and supervisor said the same thing. We can only do what the forms tell us. The Manager doesn't talk to customers. The phone was a great deal till I couldn't get my rebate. I've learned my lesson online with slezoids. I thought I did my home work. I've learned."

"Very easy website to use and navigate. Great variety of cellphones and plans from which to pick. I needed to call customer service to change the shipping address and was greeted by a friendly, efficient representative. It was overall a very positive experience. My cellphone even arrived a day early. I will definitely recommend Wirefly to friends and family."

"I have been wanting to change cell phone carriers for a while now. I was unsure of what carrier would fulfill my needs the best and also what phone would best suit my needs. I visited a few of my local "cell phone stores" in person and became discouraged very quickly. Not only were there long lines, but also the atmosphere was more like walking into a car dealership where the sales people only wanted you to look at the latest model, and "buy right now". The sales people didn't take time to find out what my needs and wants were and it left me in a greater fog than before I started.
Finally, after doing an exhaustive online research, I found Wirefly. All I can say is Awesome! Not only can you order your phone online, but you also have the choice of which cell phone provider you would like to use, all online, no stores to visit! The best thing is the fact that I received a better deal with Wirefly than I would have with any of the box stores. I got a Droid Incredible HTC FREE when I signed up with Verizon through Wirefly. I distinctly remember The Verizon store wanting to sell me the same exact phone for $150 with a 2 year contract! By using Wirefly I was able to get the phone for free!
Wirefly's customer service department was what actually made up my mind though. They answered my questions and seemed genuinely concerned about my needs and pointed me to the right phone. Wirefly saved me time, and most importantly saved me money!
By the way, Did I mention that they have free shipping? I didn't realize that they had free shipping until after my order was completed so that was just icing on the sweetest cake I have ever tasted! Thank You Wirefly!

"They lie.

They said: order processed and shipped same day
Truth: It will be almost a week before phone arrives

they said: delay because fedex wouldn't deliver to my address on a saturday.
truth: fedex says YES THEY WILL and they have before

they said: delay because number portability problems through cingular wireless
truth: cingular ported the number before they even shipped the phone

I paid for next-day delivery.
they said: we will ship it next day free of charge because of your delays
truth: they shipped it GROUND to save themselves money and it will take 3 days longer to get phone

they said: sorry nothing we can do now
truth: they should have done it all right in the first place.

they said: we will email you with updates on your order
truth: NEVER got ONE SINGLE email from them. Only could figure out what was going on with my order by calling or checking order status page at website.

go somewhere else, I do not reccomend this company. They do not do what they say they will. "

"This is the 3rd time I have ordered from Wirefly, and once again I am completely happy with their service and their prices. They do all the work for you including activating your phone, so when you receive it, its ready to go. I HIGHLY recommend them for your cell needs. You always find awsome fantastic deals through them. I got the Blackbery Curve - Purple by the way, and I love it. Im going to be a blackberry user from this time forward, I love all you can do on it. Only down fall is that the batteries could last a bit longer, but other than that awsome phone,especially for those of us *wink* who forget things, it keeps track for you with a downloaded app. "

"On my first call to Wirefly regarding questions about updating our two phones to Droids, the representative, Nick, spent over 1/2 hour going over my alternatives for upgrading and consolidating accounts, suggested the best deal and gave good advice on the phone choices.

I could not complete the deal that day and was sorry to have to call back a second time to do my order, using his suggestions. We were surprised to get the phone before the estimated 1-2 weeks. The local Verizon store can not even get them. I was 100% satisfied with Wirefly, old phone de-activated same day new phone arrived and new one re-activated easily within 10 minutes."

"This was the first time that I was able to use Wirefly do to upgrade availability. I already knew I was going to get my Driod 2 through them. It is fast, easy, and you get to save a bunch of money. We already pay enough to phone companies, so this makes purchasing a phone just about right. I have been recommended Wirefly to friends and family for months now with nothing but great results. "

"I purchased a phone with and accessory pack on 1/7/05 from the WireFly website. The pnone arrived on the 12th of January... as for the accessories, it's seems to be anyones guess as to when I will receive them. I just got off the phone for the 3rd time with Customer Service (February 17, 2005) inquiring as to where the missing accessories are. All they tell me is that the order has been sent to the warehouse... but this is the same thing I had been told originally back on January 12th when I FIRST inquired about the missing parts. The unsettling part is when I punch my order number into the automated delevery status system, the system continues to respond with an autmated message stating "Order Is Now Complete."
After checking into the problem and not understading why there was a delay, I was told (on 2/16/05) by a Customer Service Rep named Rina that a Customer Service Supervisor would call today (2/16/05) within the hour". This courtsy call was NEVER returned.
The upsetting part is that WireFly was quick to take my money... but has yet to fill it. As of today, 2/17/05 I do not have the accessories and no one is able to tell me when to expect them. I just hope no one else has to go thru this frustration."
