"My experience with Web Eye Store has been terrible. I placed my order on 5/19, expecting 7-10 day shipping. On 5/22, I received an email that my order had been "placed for shipping" and that a tracking number would be forthcoming. Needless to say, it was not. I have placed numerous calls and emails to the company over the last few days, none of which were responded to. Yesterday, I received an auto-email stating that "1 or more items have shipped," but that some of my products are also on backorder. There was no tracking number, no explanation of which products had shipped and which hadn't, and no information as to when back ordered products were expected to ship or be received. This was particularly confusing as my order consisted of 4 boxes of the exact same item.

Unless I can get some clarification on this situation by 5 pm today, I plan to cancel this order and dispute it with my credit card company. I have never dealt with anything like this before from an online merchant. Very disappointing."

"the order went smoothly; 1-2 days afterwards I received an email that my contact lenses were on back order; one week later, I wrote asking for an update; next day, update stated " we expect these in one week"; 2 days later, the box was delivered, but I the email notice I received did not seem to make sense with the delivery; fortunately, delivery and product were ok."

"I have not received my shipment in time and the status displayed in my account still states "Processing". Therefore, I had no choice but to place another order with another company. Would you please cancel this order, refund me the Grand Total of $115.80 and confirm the refund and cancellation through email?

Otherwise, please be advised that I will file a dispute with my credit card company to reverse the charges. Thanks!"

"The order placed was not my first; thus, making me a repeat customer. If the review had been written prior to this one, the review would have been full of praise. Quick shipment, constant communication via email through the entire process, great prices, etc. Let's just say I am frustrated. There were two voice messages left, many calls with no person available on the other end (did not always leave a message), failed attempts to live chat and continuous monitoring of my order. It was not until I used the prompts to place an order on their toll free number that I got David on the phone. A five dollar credit was issued. The fee to have my order shipped faster was paid but apparently the shipping and handling folks did not "see" it. Here I am two weeks later, no contacts, a "we are sorry" after poor communication when initiated by me and not much more I can do. How about an overnight delivery of my order and I return the one in transit?"

"I'm very confused. I've had two previous orders filled easily by WES, but I'm now still waiting for my current order 5 weeks after placing it! I've tried calling them, emailing them, and instant messaging them but with no success. After reading others' comments it seems this is common, but they have responded via email in the past. To those people who have posted about not receiving their order, did it eventually come?

It's almost a week since WES replied to my post here but they have still not contacted me by email to update my status as they said they would.

19/5/13 I'm keeping a log now to show how non-existent their response can be. Still no word, no emails to keep me informed.

24/5/13 I'm still waiting for SOME COMMUNICATION from them (after 8 weeks!!!!)! It seems a pattern that once you have shopped with them a couple of times they take great liberties with your patience. I suspect that they have no intention of filling my order but just keeping the $180 and avoiding me so I cannot ask for a refund. They also make a big deal about thanking those people who say nice things about them INSTANTLY and also doing a fast initial "We're sorry, we'll see what we can do" when someone is unhappy, but this is all lip service as they have no intention of following up on it!
I am changing my rating to zeros all round as this kind of business is fraudulent!

31/5/13 I finally was emailed yesterday to be told that the USPS had inexplicably returned my package to them and they would resend it at their own expense. I'll update once more when the package arrives!"

"the email communication was prompt and thorough. they even corrected my order which i had inaccurately requested the wrong pair so that saved quite a bit of time with what would have been an exchange. i received the contacts in the promised stated time and they were the exact pair i had previously, at a reduced cost so i'm thrilled."

"The item I received was not what I had ordered. I contacted the company and they asked that I return what I had ordered and the correct item would be sent. I returned the item on March 25th and it was received by them on March 27th. I have not at this time heard from them either to receive a refund or the correct item and it is now April 22nd. I am very disappointed in the service I have received."

"Web Eye Store Prices are Spectacular, however there customer service is horrible, and shipping methods are horrific. If you try calling there number - you will not beable to talk to a person and if you leave a messages or even several messages no-one will respond, email is probably the best way to get in touch with them but isn't accurate either. I paid for shipping 3 day express and just received my order yesterday. They do not provide you with a shipping confirmation nor a carrier; therefore I will shop elsewhere for my contacts!"

"I am a regular customer from Texas. I ordered a pair of discontinued contacts from them and when they realized they didn't have them, they sent me a cancellation notice and told me they would refund my order. When I didn't receive the refund in my PayPal account, I contacted them. Then I came across this website and read some reviews and got worried. But within an hour of me leaving a message on their message service, they contacted me back and told me I would receive a refund shortly, the processing might take a few days. That night, I got my full refund. They are a legitimate company and I would deal with them again. I would even recommend them to friends and family!"

"Terrible Company. Avoid at all costs. In my experience, they charged my credit card the day after I made the order. One month later, the order has yet to ship. No response from the company via email or phone "message" (message left after a fake, computer-generated telephone "hold" session). A complete scam, rolled up with phony suggestions of available customer service/assurance. Charging for a service and not actually producing the goods is fraud. Plain and simple. Potential customers should twice about the glowing reviews on this site. Looks like they are planted by WebEyeStore employees to offset the obviously real (and unflattering) reviews."
