"I previously upgraded my TiVo brand 60 hour Series 2 and added a 120GB hard drive which I purchased from Weaknees.com and it went very smoothly. I just received my new hard drive that I ordered from them for my Sony SVR 3000 and the installation was extremely easy once again. As before, the instructions were simple to follow and made the install a no-brainer. Well, almost anyway. I did have one question to ask about the jumper on the existing hard drive (not their fault, just my lack of knowledge). They replied to my email with the answer within 5 minutes so my install was not held up at all. And also since I live in CA, I received the poackage in two days by Fed Ex ground. Ordered Monday and received Wednesday.

--Pre-formatted drive was in perfect working order, including TiVO system software
--Turned a nightmare (TiVo drive failure) into blessing (increased new drive from Weaknees records over 3x more!)"

"Everything about weaknees.com is top notch, from its website to its tech support. One, small question I had about my TiVo upgrade kit was answered literally minutes after I'd posted an email, and the self-installation manual was as clear, concise, and thorough as any I've ever used. A terrific experience from start to finish."

"Great upgrade kit! I got my 80 GB Drive yesterday and the kit installed like a champ. The TiVo is working flawlessly. I'm very pleased to have all this extra space. Now I don't have to delete programs simply because I'm starting to run out of room on the TiVo. Also..now "Medium" is the lowest setting I'll do for shows. I won't have to worry about recording at "Basic" just to optimize limited space anymore.

If I have any more TiVo upgrade needs in the future, I'll certainly look at Weaknees.com! "

"TwinBreeze Bracket (full) which includes new fan, extra fan, torx(2) and other hardware. Basically everything you need if you are doing a HDVR2 upgrade yourself. Great product, excellent service. Clear instructions. Easy to do the job. Would heartily recommend to anyone who is handy enough to use a screwdriver. "

"Great people to work with! They were extremely responsive by both e-mail and phone - spent a lot of time telling me they did not have to sell me something. But I was GLAD I bought from them! Unit (HDVR@) with extra hard drive and dual fans came very quickly, setup was smooth - and they gave me advice to sell my old Standalone TiVo unit. What could be better?! In my opinion, not very much! A real pleasurable online buying experience!"
