I needed to replace a hard drive for my hd tivo unit called them got much great information and then for reasons beyond my control had to cancel the sale, and I'm leaving them a good review because they were so kind both times I called and they deserve to be acknowledged at least for that. Tivo decided to next day air me an adapter to use with their new unit so I didn't need the replacement drive but they were great

Sent emails asking questions and received prompt responses, even on a Sunday. Ordered the hard drive replacement, followed the instructions, and everything went off without a hitch. Very helpful and responsive support and great product. My Tivo lives!

Great prices, great service. Shipped within hours of placing order. Their instructions for installing the various Tivo parts were perfect, the setup went exactly as they said. I would recommend them and buy from them again, no question.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience with weakness.com. I am a VERY skeptical shopper and I looked all over the Internet for reviews and opinions of this company. I read through pages and pages of reviews on this website and other websites. I called the company several times. Every time I called, I got knowledgable, fast answers from people in THIS country. I didn't have to sit on hold for hours. And when I emailed, I got back very fast, accurate, short, responses. This company did an absolutely remarkable job diagnosing the problem with my tivo and recommending solutions. They didn't even recommend the most expensive solution...the solution they recommended actually cost much less than several other options, and it was about $250 less than what tivo would have charged me.
I would also say that after I got my hard drive repair kit, I had some questions and the response times were equally fast. They didn't just help me quickly in sales mode, they helped me in support mode as well. Quickly and accurately.
If you have any hesitation at all before doing business with these guys, just write them an email and ask whatever questions you have...they'll respond.
I'm very thankful that I took the time to investigate weakness before I did business with them, and I would NOT hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family!

Weaknees is my new best friend forever!
After six years, my TiVo series two flatlined. I call Weakees and they said I probably just need a new power supply. I ordered and it arrived within one week. The instruction were very simple and I repaired it in 15 minutes. It is working like new and the best part....my lifetime subscription is still intact. Besides that, they were very warm, friendly, and helpful on the phone. Imagine actually talking to a live human being at customer service!!! They're the best.

I've just received and set up our new TiVo Premiere for Verizon FIOS. The experience was yet another perfect, easy transaction with Weaknees. It was such a great experience and is such a great product that we just ordered another one! We have bought or repaired seven different TiVo boxes (for cable, DirecTV and FIOS) with Weaknees over the years, and every transaction has been a model of how an internet merchant should deal with its customers, but seldom does.
Weaknees is one of those rare, great organizations which does everything well-sales, service, support and product knowledge-they have it all. Honesty above reproach and friendly, knowledgable customer service mark every transaction and contact with Weaknees. Weaknees is like having a family owned store full of experts on the corner in your neighborhood, giving you personal service and help every time you go in, except that they are just a phone call away. I might add that it's a phone call answered by real people who want to help and know how to do so.
We order from Weaknees instead of TiVo or any other reseller because of Weaknees superior service, great pricing and one of a kind after market support. In this era of disposable electronics, Weaknees can actually support, improve, and usually fix, or help you fix (or improve), everything they sell. And, Weaknees advisors Nick and Max are impossible to stump with even the most 'out there' technical questions, including some which the manufacturer,TiVo, could not answer with their own people. Here, the reseller is a better expert and knows more about the box, and how it works into your system, better than the manufacturer. What a concept.
If anyone out there has any reservation about doing business with Weaknees or generally on the internet-don't. Weaknees is a great company and they'll make you happy whether you are a novice DVR customer or an electronics nut and old tinkerer like me. Put simply, Weaknees rocks. Thanks again, Weaknees.

I called and asked for help deciding what I needed to order after my Tivo started rebooting multiple times a day. The replacement drives arrived and I was able to quickly, and perfectly fix my Tivo using the enclosed instructions. Just be sure to have compressed air to clean out the dust these accumulate! Great products and great assistance.

I have been having problems with my Series 3 TIVO with lifetime subscription for a while. Response to remote control commands was slow and getting slower. At Weakness suggestion I swapped out the hard drive. Easy and clear instructions to do it myself. A little glitch with Comcast rebinding Cablecards but now working as good as new. I am a very satisfied customer.

I have dealt with Weaknees before.... hard drives upgrades, etc, but this is the 1st time they helped with a repair... Have the old HR10... no pix, no sound, and a message about "overheating".... I emailed and immediately got an offer to either fix, but telling me it was proabably a Power board. SO, $70 + 2 days to deliver + 10 minutes to install and; BINGO: All is well!.. Thanks, Weaknees... you are awesome!

Weaknees has always been the proessional leaders in the industry. Knowledge and quality of service leave very little to desire. The kind of guys I would want for my customers a well.

Beware if you need to return a product. Weaknees.com makes NO exceptions to their restocking fees.
We ordered a replacement remote for our DirecTV DVR. Before it came, DirecTV determined our DVR needed replacement. DirecTV replaced the DVR. We no longer have the unit the remote we ordered from Weaknees.com would work with.
We never opened the box when it came. I packed the unopened box in a larger box and shipped it back to Weaknees.com, paying the return shipping. They charged our credit card $49, but only credited it $34.
I've explained the situation to them, but they will not waive the restocking fee.
The product may be great, but I'm very unhappy with the customer service.

My TiVo stopped working. I shipped it to WeaKnees to have it repaired. The day they received it, they repaired it and shipped it back. The shipping (free) took a week, but the TiVo works just fine now after a hard drive replacement. My lifetime subscription to TiVo service was preserved and the unit works great again. I recommend them highly.

I just installed a Weaknees HD in my 3 year old Series 2 TiVo. My old hard drive bit the dust projecting only a fatal “Green Screen”. Once I opened the new HD box it took me less than half an hour to install the new HD and put my TiVo back in service. The instructions were clear and made the entire job a piece of cake. Great product to salvage a broken TiVo. Thanks!

I rarely take the time to review a product or service received online (I know, shame on me), but in this case I had to. I had a fantastic experience with weaKnees.com. My new hard drive was shipped less than 24 hours after ordering and I received it very soon after. I was hoping it would arrive before all of my favorite shows started airing new episodes and it did! The instructions were clear and simple and we had the new drive installed and running in less than a half hour. Excellent customer service if you ever do have questions.
