"I tried to return two items that I was unsatisfied with and they would not take them back, even though the items were in perfect condition. I just didn't have the original packaging.

If "complete (customer) satisfaction" is their "top priority" they should be able to make exceptions for people who spend a lot of money on their website. I would have continued to do so for years had I not been so repulsed.

They should revise their return policy to say that retention of profits is their top priority.

If I could give wag.com zero stars here, I would. Don't waste your time with wag.com. Chewy.com is the way to go. Excellent customer service - I bought a couple of things over the holidays that didn't work for my dog and instead of taking them back they told me to donate them to my local shelter. So kind and selfless of them!

"Ordered 2 bags of Hills prescription cat food. When I get the food it has an expiration date in 5 months. I get the same exact food from my Vet, and it has an expiration date good for over 1 year. I contact Wag.com and tell them I don't want this old food they have sitting on their shelves. They told me to bad it is a prescription and I am stuck with it. Obviously this company makes money by selling old getting ready to expire prescription food. "

"I DO NOT recommend this company...I have had several issues with them. One being they do not have the right pricing on the website for the size food they have listed and ended up charging me for a 23 lb bag of food but only sent a 12 lb bag of food. I have 2 big dogs and within a week or so they go through 12 lbs of food. They wouldn't work with me and give me any credit back and make it right. I will not ever buy from them again!"

"I have ordered cans of dog food from Wag twice now. Both times I ordered byNature. We're very happy with the dog food itself but each time my order has been filled the cans I receive look like they have had a few bounces on the floor first. The cans are seriously dented and dinged. I ordered the same dog food from another company online and the cans were all fine. Does Wag fill their online orders with damaged goods? Pricing is fine and delivery is great but I hate feeling like I'm getting seconds and perhaps spoiled food if the can is ruptured in some way."

"I recently made my first order. The pet food is 20% off for new customers (with code SAVE20) and it came to $37.59 for a 30lb bag of Taste of the Wild. That is an excellent price for that brand, so I am pretty happy with it. The shipping was fast and free, I am sure I will be buy from here again."

"I am copying an email thread with wag.com today.

Hopefully someone in the executive offices at Quidsi and or wag will read this and contact me :


Please call your warehouse to verify wet food went out. I need it today. I modified order TEN minutes after forgetting to add litter yesterday. Litter shows out for delivery. UPS just told me they show cat food not picked up yet. This happens with wag time after time after time. Please contact me ASAP to let me know the status. Once again I have to walk downtown to get cat food. I use wag as I don't have a car here in a Jersey City and these screw ups waste my time and defeats the purpose if using your services. Perhaps I should write a review to let others know as well so they don't have to experience this over and over again. Not to mention the numerous times we have received damaged goods or fed ex leaving pkgs outside that get stolen.

Can I bill your corporation for my time wasted constantly clearing this crap up?

Again, I'd like to know ASAP where the cat food is and if it's not coming today.. WHY?

I understand that you order with us for convenience and for our fast shipping of your furry friends supplies, and that it defeats the purpose when there are delays or there are other issues. I know that you need this food for your cat ASAP, so I will check into this for you right away.

Adam, I have pulled up your order and I see that we shipped this out yesterday for delivery today, 2/12. Your order is estimated for delivery today by 8PM with UPS. Please keep your eye on the tracking info for any updated scans: The scans have not been updated as of yet, but this package is not lost unless it is past the expected date of delivery. There is no indication that your order has been delayed.

Have you reported these problems in the past with us? These types of issues are not the norm around here and if you consistently are having trouble, then we absolutely want to look further into this for you and get this taken care of. We work closely with our carriers to address any and all issues that affect our customers.

Again, I apologize that you've had trouble in the past with deliveries from us. We know that we are heavily relied on for supplies for your cat, and we always want to make sure that you have what you need. If you need anything else, please let us know.

There are EIGHTEEN problems resolved if you look at our account!!
That's an incredible waste of my time.
The litter just got delivered. The driver said other pkg. not coming today because the scan is done the night before it's out for delivery and wet food pkg has not been scanned. Again and ASAP please call your warehouse and find out what happened THIS TIME.

I would like someone from your presidents office to call me.

Trust me, I shopped around (petco, petsmart, chewy, etc) and none of them had a better price.

"I have ordered canned cat food that comes dented. Also, though they promise delivery the next day to my zip code, items do not arrive on time and as promised. I was able to overlook the dented cans, but I am not willing to overlook the poor delivery service, especially since that is their model. Back to the small local pet store in my neighborhood even if it means more $$$. Better to support the community than a company like this."

"I accidentally discovered http://wag.com when searching for something for my cat online and comparing prices. They had a great sale, so I ordered a 20 lb bag and 24 cans of cat food. I have new kittens that were eating some junky cat food when they came, so I was trying to upgrade them to something better for them....'cept they weren't havin' it... I ordered over the Easter weekend, and Monday morning a driver delivered my huge box! Unbelievable! So much better than me having to schlepp a ton of heavy stuff...plus there was no delivery charge!! After trying 8 cans of the canned food, I e-mailed their customer service to see if I could return 16 of the 24, they e-mailed right back (no wait) and said no problem, and sent me a pre-paid UPS label. I just came back from dropping the box off to UPS, and checked my snail mail....A cute personal envelope with a handwritten note from http://Wag.com thanking me for shopping with them, and sorry the kittens didn't like the brand I had bought, hoping we can find something to their liking soon! signed "Carvell - http://Wag.com Customer Care". "I received a coupon for $15 off my order from my dog's insurance company. I had never heard of this merchant before but decided to give them a try. They carry my dog's food at the same price as our local store, I got $15 off and free shipping. Too good to be true?

Within an hour of ordering, (and I ordered past most stores' business hours) I had a tracking number. In 36 hours the food was at my door. It was fresh with a better expiration date than what I normally purchase locally.

Since then I have placed another order with the same customer service experience. They carry just about everything that big box retailers carry. They have also lowered the minimum purchase requirement for free shipping from $49 to $35!

Wag.com is amazing and they have a loyal customer in me and my pets. Order without hesitation!

"I will never order from Wag.com again. I placed an order that included two bags of Grandma Lucy's freeze dried dog food. One was expired, the other was expired within the month. When customer service reshipped the bags, I received two bags with the exact same expiration dates. In addition, one of the bags had been sliced, was obviously leaking, and then had been taped over."

"Ok, my first dealings with this company. I ordered a harness for my dog. Thought I had the correct size for his weight. The harness arrived in one day!! Boy was I wrong, so small not funny. I called Wag & explained my predicament to the reprresentative. No fuss, no muss, placed an order for a larger size, emailed me a return label paying for shipping and actually mailed my new order before I could retrieve the information from my computer. This is what customer service should be. One day delivery? Are you kidding? These guys are definitely out for your business. Five stars in the rating system doesn't do them justice, they deserve 10. I'm putting the word out to my friends, this is the place to shop."
