"If I could give them a negative 100 I would! Do not use Vitamin Shoppe Online. I am a fan of their stores but their corporate on line customer service truly could not be worse.I received supplements HOT - not warm - HOT - compromising the effectiveness of all the supplements I bought. This all had to do with the way they ship their supplements without any insulation. When I emailed them to ask for a refund and a return tag - they promised me IN WRITING that they had sent a call tag AND had processed a refund for me. I had to ask for a call tag twice and then they NEVER processed the refund for a full 20 days AFTER they had promised they had and AFTER I demanded proof from them that they had processed the refund - and yet they still never offered proof or an apology. This is about 17 emails later. I did finally get the refund, without apology - and without any acknowledgement that they had made absolute statements that things had been done that were never done. It took stating that I would contact the better business bureau to get my refund. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"I've used VitaminShoppe for quite some time and found them to be very reliable and timely in their deliveries. On one order, they delivered the requested supplement, but it had an ingredient changed. It was an ingredient that I am allergic to. After contacting them, they provided me a credit for the error. Overall, I've been pleased with their service."

"i was scared when i saw the other reviews after i ordered staff from the vitamin shop. after 2 days of the order,i got an email saying the item i ordered is not on stock so it is back ordered. the next day i decided to cancel the order. but surprisingly while i am sitting in front of my computer pulling out customer service number, the ups guy came with my order. i was surprised how fast they shipped the item. i put the order on Sunday afternoon and it was delivered to me by Tuesday with the free shipping they offered."

"I have been using VS since 2005 and I still have to say that they are one of the most reliable resellers for me. I know they may not work for everyone, but I have had small and large orders through them and nearly everytime, the item arrives in good condition in a very reasonable amount of time. I have changed my shipping address to work and other homes, and still the same good result. They have reduced the amount of coupons over the past 12 months, but I still visit their website when looking for vitamins/supplements. I have never been billed twice or had a problem contacting their Customer Service over the years. "

"I ordered from Vitamin Shoppe's website and the company placed two identical orders on my behalf. The company did this... not me. I emailed them as soon as I found out about the problem, and they never responded. They've had me jumping through hoops for two weeks, trying to return the order and get my money back. At this point, I'd say their customer service is terrible. Do not trust this website with your credit card number-- they might just charge it twice and not let you get your money back. BUYER BEWARE."
"I made four attempts to talk with Vitamin Shoppe, but they NEVER responded to any of my efforts in spite of a written policy guaranteeing to respond within 24 hours. Regardless of the product quality, no customer service = terrible service. Cannot recommend using Vitamin Shoppe without even mediocre service to resolve customer service issues."

"I am like some of the others who posted here! I SHOULD HAVE COME HERE FIRST AND READ THE REVIEWS!! This place charges the credit card IMMEDIATLY. Online status has a cryptic "open". Phone robot says "no such order number". Their "everyday cusomer service 1-800 number" says closed call back on their schedule of eastern time weekdays only. The whole operation smells of poor character. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE."
"I should have red the reviews before I order my neem oil from their web site. it was supposed to be here in 4-10 days, it has been 20 days and since I ordered it and I still have not received it. I checked the tracking and it was received by the post office ,only 3 days a go, (18 days after I placed the order online). on top of that they never pick up the phone for customer service. I wont be surprised if they go bankrupt with this kind of service. I will never ever shop from them again.. "
"I had been shopping at the Vitamin Shoppe for quite few years. and this Christmas ordered a gift card for $300. They lied about shipping it in 24 hour. the post mark said 13 days later. and to the mailing address instead of the shipping address, only to received it after New Year. I had left message for them to call me back, they never respond. I had since talked to Corporate Office, and was told they will not refund, even though card had not been used and can be verified, cause we don't have Vitamin Shoppe here. I wished I had read this site earlier and see all the frustration had already been documented. and for all those whom had rate this store or site good, that's because they are only buying, just wait til they screw up your order, and it's inevitable (I know since I had been shopping with them for few years)."
