An old Dell user since 1985, I am disappointed that Dell now caters to the mass market--no difference in the quality of their product or service. I ordered a new box from Vision because I had choices (specifically an option to order a custom machine without Windows8). Within a week of ordering the 64bit machine, I realized I would still require 32bit at home for some key legacy programs. After looking at several workarounds with a helpful Vision support team, they offered to reload the system down to 32bit at no charge, swap the software, and my only obligation was to pay return shipping one way back to the Georgia office. THAT IS STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE. With extra drives, I also ordered an extra case cooling fan, which surprisingly, runs very quietly. After 3 months, the machine works beautifully. I don't expect any less after 3 years--5 years. A slight increase in cost, but so far, the value has far exceeded the extra money. I definitely recommend Vision Computers. Once you get a custom PC from Vision, you will never buy another box of junk from a big box retailer again. The quality is terrific, there is literally no bloatware, the managed services are GREAT, and the tech support is absolutely the BEST. I used to do tech spport for HP, and there is no comparison between the two. Here is an example call to Vision tech support: dial - ring, ring - "hello, thank you for calling Vision; how may I help you today?" by native english-speaking, American human computer wizards! When I bought my first Vision PC, I had heard an ad on talk radio (Neal Boortz) boasting of an average 15-second hold time, but I have to say that I question that figure, as after 3 years and 3 computers, I have never been put on hold or waited for anyone to answer - not once, and I haven't spoken the first syllable to a computer. You will not be disapointed with a Vision computer. Thank you, Vision, for an excellent computer and your stellar customer service.
