"I can not express how truly disappointed I am with VioVio! This was my second order with Viovio, the first was OK. This order was for 16 identical books. My order was placed on 6/4/10 and I followed up the same day with a question. Instead of answering my question (via email) my order was put on hold. 2 weeks later when I went online to check the status of my order, I found out it was on hold, and viovio never contacted me. So, I got it off hold and the books arrived a couple of weeks later. They were falling apart, all 16 of them! I immediately contacted viovio via email and asked to speak with a manager so we could make sure this was taken care of and would not happen again. After 2 weeks of back and forth via email and 5 requests for a production manager to call me, Viovio sent UPS to pick up the books and no one ever called. I found a phone number on the UPS ticket, so I called, no one answered, and I left a message to be called back. Still, no one called me. Without any further communication, the books arrived back on my doorstep the second week of July, the day I was leaving for vacation. 2 of the books have a large white blotch on the last page. The group I did the books for was so tired of waiting, they took the books as they were. No, Viovio does not kick shutterflies behind or anyone elses. I wish I had ordered from Creative Memories. They are more expensive, but I know I would not have had all these problems and they would have called me back! I recommend using anyone but Viovio!"

"I just received my first book from Viovio, our family's annual digital scrapbook in print, and I am THRILLED with it! The hard cover is very professional looking and feeling, the pages are a wonderful quality, the printing is sharp and beautiful, and the pages are centered and cropped evenly (I've had books from other companies where the pages were not centered causing my borders to look really screwy).

And the price is terrific! I got a 12x12 book for the same price I have been paying other places for an 8x10 with the same number of pages.

Their processing time is longer than some companies, but it's not outrageous, and I consider the final product well worth the wait. I choose the 1-2 week shipping option, and my book arrived 3 days from the shipping date."

- ease-of-use
- good customer service
- quick printing/shipping
- awesome online preview of the book
- GORGEOUS results!
- lots of options for sizes and bindings
- GREAT prices on books and shipping

Cons:
- a little confusing at first
- a couple of MINOR printing issues (see bottom of review)

I am a digital scrapbooker, and wanted to get a scrapbook printed into a hard-bound book, photobook style. Many of the simple photo-book printing sites won't let you upload your full scrapbook, only individual photos to put in their layouts. I found Viovio would let me do my whole scrapbook, and for $10-15 less than Shutterfly.

The process to get it all input took some figuring out (like how big my pages needed to be and what the margins should be and such), but it would have been this way with most any site (I looked at shutterfly and lulu specifically), and Viovio's online forums answered most of my questions; they also have someone available to chat through AIM during business hours.

The way that you upload everything, and especially the preview they have of your book, is pretty slick. I also really like the different sizes and types of books they offer (lulu's offerings weren't as suitable for scrapbooks).

I just received my scrapbooks (an 11 x 8.5 imagewrap hardcover and a 9x7 perfectbound softcover) today, exactly ONE WEEK after I placed my order online (that was with 2-day shipping, but still!). The books look gorgeous and I love that you can order the same book in lots of different sizes, so you can give them away and such. They also have really good shipping prices (like $2 if you order over $30 and can wait a few weeks).

There were only a couple of small problems with the books:
- the back cover of the hardcover book wasn't completely glued to the last page at the spine (the blank one, not a printed page). REALLY a minor detail. It wasn't going to like fall out or anything (the page is stitched in).
- On the softcover book, there were a couple of pages where there was like an 1/8" strip of white along the interior margins. I'm not sure if this is a printing/binding error or my error in not designing the pages wide enough. I'm going to find out from them at some point. Again, this is a fairly insignificant problem, but if this were for a book I was trying to sell or something, I would care more about it.

Overall, I loved the results of this printer and the site was fairly easy to use and had pretty good customer service. I will definitely get more books printed through them!"

"I am absolutely thrilled with Viovio! They turned around my order for 132 books in just days! They arrived and they are beautiful! The quality is fabulous. When they thought we might run into time crunch issues, they called immediately and did what they could to turn this around quickly for me. The customer service on this order was outstanding. I am beyond happy as is my customer. They will be first on my list! Try them, you will love them!"

"I was very unsatisfied with the process and color quality. Despite several revisions of my image color, each time having to buy a book in order to proof the output, I never was happy with the printed colors. One of the books was printed with the images 90 degrees to the page and cropped off at the edges. Two of the books' bindings loosened and fell apart within a short time"

"I've used Viovio for several years now. I've purchased softbound books as well as hard bound books. I personally love their hard bound wrap covers, but their smaller softbound books are perfect for gifts. Most recently I made a small soft bound book for my husband to remember a weekend trip to the beach we took together. When I received it the last page had not printed. I emailed Amy at Viovio and she immediately had another one printed for me. Fast and friendly service as well as great quality printing and low prices has kept me coming back for years. Thank you Viovio!"

"Viovio is absolutely Exceptional! I've ordered from the company four straight years for our Year-End Family Photo Books. In four years, 4 differently designed books, and well over 3000 pages (15 books @ 50 pgs per book X 4 years), I haven't had a single incident or mis-printing. Add to that some solid customer service and you have a business you can trust and come back to year after year.

Oh...and did I mention that their pricing is about half of most other sites?"

"I have nothing but praise for Viovio. The time they spent guiding and assisting me create a huge project for my grandson was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Living on the other side of the world to them in Australia, I only had a small window of 1 hour to communicate with them, and I can guarantee if I shot of an email the night before, there was one waiting for me in the morning.

The support was fantastic. I received my first book and it is more than I expected, much more. The colour is beautiful, the quality great. My main book will arrive shortly.

Thank you Amy and Amanda for helping me so much to achieve this. I just cannot thank you enough."

"This is my second order from Viovio and both experiences have been great. I had no idea what I was doing the first time and corresponded with customer service a couple of times. They were extremely helpful and walked me through my creative problems. The second book was a breeze since I almost knew what I was doing. Their ordering system is extremely easy to use and you can see your product completely laid out before you actually order. This has helped me out catching my own mistakes! After placing your order you are kept well informed about expected print and ship dates. Then in almost no time your book arrives and you are able to see the printed word. The colors are bright, and the photographs clear with true shades. I have been thrilled with the results both times and am SO glad I found this company! Give them a try--you won't be sorry. "
