"I sent back my rental on either April 31st or May 1st using the provided return packaging. I got an e-mail the other day saying that my book was due. Now I have one saying that it is overdue. I had e-mailed them about this but got no answer."

"Very frustrated and bad experience. Did not receive book in time from my seller, no phone number to contact, emails to seller and company have gone un-answered, and very difficult to find any customer support information. Will not use a site that lacks customer support again."

"Customer service is a joke. If you actually manage to find how to contact them they won't respond. After 19 days I haven't even had them confirm the books have arrived even though the post office says they did.

Update: after filing complaints my order finally got processed and supposedly a check sent except for 1 book which was said to have excessive writing in it (??? It was new and never used but...ok I guess??)
I'm just glad this experience is almost over and I will now go back to ether my bookstore buyback or selling on amazon. I just wish I had read that they will not send my book back more closely since it could have been sold back to my college since it WASN'T written on with even a pen mark.

"I rented a book from this website this semester. I am attempting to return it now but there is NO WAY to do that. I have spent hours going in circles on the website. It is not giving me the option to print out the shipping label. I looked in the support section and read the step by step instructions but the options I am told to select are simply not there. I log in, go to my order, select "return rental" then it asks if I would like to return a rental from this order or another. I select "this order" then it takes me to another page telling me I did not select a rental from this order. There was no option to select it. ALL I WANT TO DO IS RETURN MY BOOK!! I have contacted customer service days ago but they will not get back with me. They do not have an option to call or do live chat with a customer service rep like Collegebookrnter (who I will go back to using). They just tell you to email them (even their emial is difficult to find) so they can proceed to ignore you. If I cannot return this book in time or if I return it and get charged anyway (like many others) I will be filing a complaint with BBB and reversing the charges with my credit card company. I will not stand for this. Can someone, anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong and how to return my book!? "

"The worst experience ever! I needed a book for school so I used the isbn# and found the cheapest at Valore and ordered it. Little did I know it was the International version which has a different isbn# and is not what I ordered and is worth nothing in the states. When I emailed Valore and the seller, who somehow ended up in the whole process, with the problem they said some where in the description it said it was an International version which I did not see and that book should not have come up when I entered the isbn# for the regular version. So I sent it back followed all the detailed rules, payed 12$! So I could get the tracking number because Valore claimed it was my fault I got the wrong book so I would have to pay to return it. I ended up getting three different return address between Valore and the seller of the book which dealing with the company and the seller has made this process very difficult. I sent it to an address at which the seller requested. Then I never heard from anyone for five weeks! The book was received after one week. I then contacted the seller who had been very nice about the return but now is questioning me about negative feedback I gave him when all I had done was state the truth at the feed back request of Valore. Ahhh! I cant believe the customer service! Why would Valore ask for feed back and then when I gave it to them the seller questions me on why I gave him negative? feedback!!!?? This has been the worst most complicated service I have EVER experienced! After posting this I got an email saying they reimbursed my credit card for the full amount! Yay. I still never heard from The seller again. I think it's a very weird system they have going on. "

"I've both purchased books and rented books from ValoreBooks.com and will continue to do so until ALL my kids are out of college. It is SO MUCH MORE AFFORDABLE than campus bookstores and other web based book sellers. The textbooks have all arrived promptly and in good condition. The rental system is also a very simple process and the mailing fees are included in the rental price. There is no forgetting when to send the book back because they send timely reminders to assure you get your book back on time.
