"Ordered part Nov 24. Today, Dec 13, I got an email that they "had to CANCEL and refund your order as USPS the shipping company cannot find the package we have shipped to them".I had contacted Upgrade Nation several times to let them know my order had not arrived. On the phone, the representatives seemed indifferent and bothered that I called, and said I had to email the person who took care of shipping issues, could not transfer me by phone or give a phone number.So by email correspondence, taking a day or longer for response each time, I get an email on Friday Dec 10 that "USPS is still tracking down the package. I will send out a replacement priority mail today, if no results are found with USPS."OK, so I expected to get the part, but three days later I get an email that they just canceled the order.Thanks for the customer service Upgrade Nation !"
"Terrible. Ordered a new compact flash card. Received what I believe to be a used compact flash card. It did not come in a package, but was just a loose card in an envelope. The compact flash card did not work. Tried it in two different devices, a digital SLR camera and a digital recorder. Both devices gave error messages that the card was corrupt. Neither device could format the card. My computer showed the card had 0 bytes of free space and 0 bytes of used space. My computer gave an error message when trying to format the card as well. Contacted the company for a replacement and I have to pay for the return shipping because they sent me a corrupt used compact flash card instead of a new card like I ordered. We will see how the replacement goes. I will update after receiving the replacement."
"Couldn't ask for better service.I ordered a xD Picture card on Sunday, April 10 and received it today, April 14. They are in Illinois and I'm in California. The product works fine and I never saw it offered for this low a price.Very satisfied."
"SCAM ALERT; Worst online vendor I have seen to date. I have done a lot of online purchasing over the years. It took 18 days to receive order. Two inquiries on order status were unreturned. 14 days between notifying the shipper and shipping the product. The worst part of the experience was receiving the product. They substituted the product with an older generation item!I found the product I purchased using Google product search. Better use Bing shopping next time."
"Ordered a total of 4 sticks of 2GB DDR2 SODIMMS since their price was about $10 less than the nearest competitor per stick. Received order confirmation immediately and had tracking information from their web site later that day.Product was received in just under a week, was well packaged and was generally as described. The only difference that the original manufacturer was listed as Micron, but Nanya branded memory was provided.However, both are of similar quality, so I had no issue with that. I tested the memory in my system and had no problems. I would definitely buy from them again if the price warranted it. "
"AVOID THIS RETAILER AT ALL COST!! They are a bunch of scamming, lying SOB's. I ordered an OLYMPUS brand 256mb XD memory card for my camera. They sent me a cheaper quality Kodak card which is useless on my camera for panoramic shots. I can only use the Olympus brand. So I called these guys and they tell me I have to submit a claim through the website. So I go to the website, go through all the rigamorole of filling out their stupid form, only to find out that I have to PAY to have the item shipped back to them. WTH? They ship ME the wrong product and I have to PAY to ship it back to them. So I email them TWICE to ask if I would get my money refunded for the shipping, and here it is a MONTH later and still no reply. Save your money people and save yourself a headache, refrain from buying ANYTHING from these scumbags. Don't believe the positive reviews you see here! I did, and I regret it!!"
"Where to begin. I ordered 2 SanDisk 4GB Extreme III SDHC cards. I recieved 2 cheap Transcend 4GB SD Cards instead. However, before this, I recieved a notice that my item shipped and recieved a tracking number for USPS. I wait and wait and the tracking # never shows any status. A week later I call, they tell me I have to contact some manager x226 firstname.lastname@example.org. Lets start with the phone # you call supports multiple websites and they ask you who you are calling for and the hours they are suppose to be open during business hours does not jive with when they are actually available.I call, nobody ever calls back, I email, and nobody returns my Email. I call and threaten to contact the USPS for fraud, I finally get a response. Some bull about the item being out of stock while the website clearly shows it is in stock. Another week passes. Finally I get my package, and it is the wrong item. I try to contact them again, same song and dance and never a single response. After trying yet for another week, I finally got someone to talk to me only to tell me that my problem can only be handled by some non-existent manager.Totally fed up at this point, I finally contacted my CC company and filed a dispute. 6 weeks later, I was contacted by my CC company who refunded me my money. I am so PO'd with this company I have placed a filter on my system so that I can never be so stupid to order from them again.Avoid unless you would like a headache!"
"Failed to deliver product. Nonexistent customer service. I placed this order for an SD card for Mother's Day and never received it. Initially I just thought the order was delayed. When I called them, they would ask me to call back later for more info. Call after call, I got the same customer service rep that couldn't give me any info about my order. Initially the person said a manager would need to investigate the order to see what happened. Then I was told I would need to speak with them but they were never there. I would be told to call back later. I left my contact info and was told the manger would let me know what was going on. That never happened. I thought maybe this was some guy running the business out of his home giving me the run around.Finally I was fed up and asked for a refund but was once again told they couldn't do it. A manager needed to authorize this - please call back. Calling back the next day, I finally spoke with someone different but they couldn't help me either because the "system was down". They did however give me the email and extension for the manager, email@example.com, ext. 226. I left voicemail and email and still no response.I was extremely patient with them and really it's the extraordinary lack of customer service that lead me to write this review.They do not deserve anyone's business."
"I apologize for the issue. A trace with USPS.com has been initiated. It seems as the package is lost, however sometime they can relocate the package and deliver it faster. We will keep you notified of any results. If none are found within 48hrs we will reship another package immediately. "I am disappointed in my experience with Upgrade Nation. I ordered a 512MB Type H xD card and instead received a Type M. I requested an RMA replacement and promptly received the RMA and sent it back. A week later, when I looked at my RMA status at the company's website it was marked "closed." So I called to find out what was going on and was told they could not ship me the Type H card because they have none in stock and do not expect to get any more. I had received no notification to this effect and wouldn't have known if I hadn't called. (According to the website the Type H card is in stock.)I believe they shipped the wrong card because they didn't have the right card in stock.The processing all went fine, they credited me for the original card, and things were done speedily. But they don't seem to be very good at monitoring their stock."
