"I ordered two CRUCIAL 4GB memory from them. It was supposed to be 3-7 days shipping. After a week, a guy named Ali e-mailed me that the product will be late. After waiting more than two weeks, I called them to check on my product. A guy told me they would call me back that day, and then there was no call. I called again the next day, and a guy handed up on me. Very bad customer service. I am not going to wait a month to see if my product come or not."
"Really unhappy with the service. Placed an order 4/5 at 11am. In the email itself it says orders after 2 pm will be processed next day. Emailed them on the 11th to ask for a tracking number because with 3-5 day shipping it should be close to to arriving. Nope I was wrong. They didnt decide to process the order until after I emailed and asked about it. Makes me wonder if they ever would have if I never said anything to them about it. Granted if there was a stock issue an email would have been nice. Package should arrive 4/17 so I have yet to find out if the product is even functional. At this point I'm almost expecting it not to. Long story short. If you want to get your item right away, call them right after you place your order. They might actually decide to process it right away instead of waiting a week."
"I contacted UpgradeBay.com looking for a hard drive for a legacy system that is no longer made, I had an urgent need to replace a drive. There are many companies online and sellers on ebay selling them refurbished for as little as $6, however I had an immediate need and couldnt afford to wait around for an ebay type sale and slow shipping. I wasn't real thrilled about paying over 10 times what I could have bought the drive for elsewhere, but considering my rush need I placed and order after confirming with TWO of their sales reps that it would be shipped out that day for next day delivery. The following morning after a couple e-mails and phone calls to them asking where my drive was I got an e-mail notification that my order was delayed and had not shipped out. When I called to complain about the delay they offered to reduce the shipping charges, but since they were shipping it to me under my FedEx account they changed that to saying they would discount the product instead (no discount was applied to my invoice though). Throughout that day I called six more times to confirm and reconfirm that the drive was going out that day, and that it was going out for first AM delivery so FedEx would drop it off by 8:30AM. That afternoon I got an e-mail back from them saying it was set to go out for 10:30am delivery, and to let them know if I wanted to change that. I promptly responded that I wanted the earlier delivery time, however later that night I got a response back saying they had not changed it and it went out for the 10:30am. I did eventually get my product, but I will not be using them again."
"We are distributors and were working with UpgradeBay since 2010. Had no problems so far. Our sales rep, Osaid Khan, provides great service, shipping is usually quick, and he follows up on each of our orders making sure that everything is working as expected. Like this company, will definitely buy from them again. Thank you!"
"I needed a replacement hard drive/firmware/OS for a large format/plotter HP printer. There was some doubt whether that was the issue and the only way to be absolutely certain was to replace the drive (this is a $7k printer) or pay $1000 for an HP rep to travel to the location and troubleshoot it. UpgradeBay had the best price and, in addition, after I explained my situation, offered to accept the item back with a reasonable restocking fee if that did not fix the issue. All other stores would not accept a return whatsoever. Given the reaction from other vendors, I was doubtful about the veracity, but Osaid Khan (the rep that helped me through this) had no issues with sending me an email confirming the verbal agreement. Osaid answered all the questions I had thoroughly, the shipping was quick, and Osaid followed up on the order to make sure the replacement had worked. I have put them in my contacts list for vendors and would not hesitate in ordering from them again. "

"Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! They delayed shipping and over charged without notification. When ask for refund of price difference, they played dumb and then lied about issuing credit to my credit card, which has not happened yet. Never Never again.
Immediately after I posted this comment, I received an email from UpgradeBay.com. After ignoring my emails for weeks, SUDDENLY they were able to issue a refund to my credit card. They offer incentives if I remove negative comments.
So much for NOT seeing NEGATIVE comments on them. Now you know why.

"First of all, if you don't order through amazon, ebay or other reputable service, you are on your own. I ordered LExmark laser printer from upgradebay.com. They sent me an Asian/European model that runs on 240 Volts of power. As we all know, that doesn't help in USA. It was an open box printer, yet they will charge 20% restocking for it anyway. I double and triple checked the model number before I purchased it. It was the correct 34S0700 number, yet I received 34S0706. Once I brought it up, they removed the 34S0700 from their website and claimed I ordered the wrong unit in the first place. They setup their fraudulent operation in a way, where you don't have anything in your hand as a proof. You pay, then you receive an email stating what is your order number. No invoice or description of what you ordered. You login back to their website and you don't see your previous orders there. They have full access to edit the order information, in case you complain. When I asked for an invoice, they sent me one with the part number I actually received, not the one I ordered. They are scam and fraud, as far as I am concerned. By the way, the website did not say the printer is going to be used/refurbished/or open-boxed."
"My CD/DVD drive in my HP computer fell apart so I ordered a replacement through Eric Yniguez from UpgradeBay. The unit arrived in a heartbeat and installed without fuss. It burst into life immediately and has been faultless ever since. Great service, great product, thanks Eric."
"I have purchased several items from UpgradeBay.com. They provide competitive prices, excellent customer service and my account representative, Eric Yniguez has been a pleasure to work with. "
"Item ordered 5/27/12, Website said item in stock available for shipment. Ordered prior to 2 pm so order should process same day. 6 days past no part email sent to gain shipment information (no reply). Day 9 past email sent again no reply. Day 12 another email and phone call to 1-888-858-3088 to find they ordered/received wrong item from supplier. Never contacted me to inform me of error. Customer service poor now waiting on cancellation and refund."
"Ordered with ease from Upgrade Bay. I ordered a fuser for an HP printer. The service was accurate and fast. Eric Yniguez answered all my questions and concerns in regards to the part and what to order. "
